They sent someone over, who didn't really open the HVAC system panel much. I didn't seem confident that this would fix it. But they recommended to fix the drain pan inside the evaporator coil box, which they said was much more expensive. For clearing the drain pipe and gluing a loose pipe, which didn't actually fix the main problem, they still billed me $300 - diagnostic fee ($99) + 1 hour ($199) - (there's a 3% credit card fee, but they accept checks) 4 or 5 hours later, there was dripping again. I ended up calling Bob's, they sent 2 technicians who knew what they were doing (they opened the panel properly), they found and fixed the issue - it did not involve replacing a drain pan. Bob's only charged me the diagnostic fee of $175 and did the job right (compared to $300 that Green Bear charged)

The builder had ONLY a wall switch with no thermostat or adjustment ability installed. Per the IFT system you can ADD and UPGRADE remotes, WIFI access, lights, fans, and other accessories. Yet something in the installation by Fireside causes the remote unit to FAIL TO SYNC. Every manual and online search says it SHOULD work. I reached out to Heat and Glo the manufacturer, but they have the installing dealers do the tech support of their fireplaces. I contacted Fireside and sadly they want to GOUGE customers with a $359 SERVICE FEE! NOPE, I do not need all those services since the unit is BRAND NEW from the Builder. It is THEIR installation that FAILS to sync as stated by the manufacturer and all system literature. They need to figure out what they did WRONG that they made the unit incompatible with a system that is designed to work together! THEY WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK! That is low. Very low. Avoid then at all costs. Find a BETTER DEALER that STANDS behind THEIR WORK!

Also had them replace the wood trim around the top of this zero clearance fireplace. It took about two weeks for the fabrication of the new stainless steel chase cover. This wasn't an easy install, 28' up on a 8/12 pitched roof. David, the project manager showed up with two workers and got the job done in about five hours. They did a great job, removed old chase and wood trim around the top, installed new chase, wood trim and painted all new material to match existing house color. I had three other chimney companies come out and give bids, none really seemed interested in doing this job, all were looking for masonry work or a bigger project. I would use this company again for any type of chimney repair work.

I have just relocated to Auburn from Woodinville and did not want to pull apart my deck again to move the spa so I just got another one as I know what works for me and as they say "if it ain't broke don't fix it". Yep bought another Cameo. I just did my first water test after getting it balanced. And the manager Derek did the test. I got to talking to him and he has to be one of the most knowledgeable hottub people out there. He walks the talk! Plus he also has a Cameo ;-) I have to say I was impressed back in 1999 with Dave G. who sold me my 1st tub and I did my homework then and he encourage me to do so and come back with my findings. I will say Aqua Quip is doing something right. First they are still in business, no surprise to me. They are able to find the right people for their business and again must be doing something right as they tend to stick around for a long time. Dave finally retired in 2021. And lucky me I think I found someone he must have mentored in the Covington store!!! I am a strong believer of top down management and Aqua Quip demonstrates this hands down. Asher was our technician and was lovely to work with. Respectful of the house (booties on the feet to not track) and explained all the work he'd be doing. It was really fast and thorough. Our fireplace is older and had a crack in the bottom of the metal. Asher explained how those happen (age/heat) and why it matters (you lose heat out the crack and can be unsafe/uncontained)-- as well as the severity of our issue (not that bad, lucky for us!). He explained multiple options, helping us save a boat-load of money and was able to do the silicon repair right then. The pricing is extremely reasonable. We'll definitely use them every year for our inspection and cleaning!
