Sales rep Jeronimo, aka Jerry, was extremely helpful in determining the right glasses and plan that I was extremely happy with! No pushy Salesman pitches, just a simple explanation of options with the care you would expect a friend or family member would receive. Additionally, quality assurance verification is the standard at Stanton Optical; Sales Rep, Heather, verified my order was exactly what I wanted while providing that same family care I experience with Jerry! There was difficulty in making the lens to fit the style of glasses I choose, so I left to eat lunch and the glasses were ready just as I finished eating. The most important take away from waiting for the glasses is I was treated with respect and given an honest status on my glasses. This proves the high level detail and quality in their product, and exceptional customer service they provide. I just wanna make this quick i stopped by to ask about they're promotion going on and I was helped out by CAROLYN She was very friendly and very patient with all the questions I had and about the prices and process, but after all she convinced me to treat myself and I ended up getting two pairs of glasses for the price of one you'd get anywhere else including a free eye exam. Not just that but my glasses were ready within 25 mins I just wanna say it was a great experience as my first time getting my own glasses and having someone so helpful. But by the end of the day when I was going to pay I guess I misunderstood a fee that was mentioned in the beginning but I just completely forgot about because there were so MANY glasses to look through but this girl managed to take care of me so well I got a discount for my misunderstanding of the fee. Stanton Optical far exceeded our expectations! On 07/27/17, my mother and I had our first visit to Stanton Optical. She had her free eye exam and then was impressively helped with her eyeglass selection and purchase! Everyone was very kind and helpful. Marissa Montano, Paula, Dr. Sue and especially Jesse Perez all provided exceptional Customer Service! They made us feel welcomed and like valued customers. My mother hadn't purchased glasses since 2010 and all the selections and varying prices can be a bit overwhelming. However, that's where Mr. Jesse Perez comes in...He was very kind, attentive, patient, caring and informative! Jesse made us feel very comfortable and confident in the selections we made. Came in for an eye exam I won't hold the doctor who gave me an eye exam accountable because she did her job and the glasses were correct when I got a pair of glasses ,I don't recommend this place unless you're desperate and want to waste your money the employees are only interested of hitting their sales goals and don't care about helping you at all do not fall for their "discounts " if the price doesn't seem right it probably isn't ,there's no 2 pairs for 79 bucks at one point I was almost charged 800 dollars for 2 pairs of regular single vision glasses and when I opted to get the 2 pairs for 79 dollars they said they could not have them ready that same day all of a sudden how convenient, I recommend a real optometrist even walmart probably has better deals don't waste your time or hard earned money . read more

I went July 28th and the new manager Sarah was horrible she came to the front desk and she asked .. um yes... I was like yes what ?? She said yeah what do you need? I told her hi how are you how may I help you. She was like okay??... then i asked do you accept a type this type of insurance... and she said huh what?? Then then a lady named yizel she was answering to two costumers at the same time and the new manager didn't know nothing all the costumers wanted to go with the other girl avoiding the new manager how do I know is new because I go there with my family and I asked who are you then she responded why? Wtf why this place hired a la dds y who is rude, didn't know nothing about nothing, it was very annoying. I saw their promotion online looking for an optometrist in my area for my daughter, Makayla. They advertised 2 pairs of glasses for $69 plus a free eye examine. We went to the Chula Vista store and was warmly greeted by Jesse. We felt very welcome the minute we walked in the store. Had my daughters eye exam done. Picked out our frames from their vast selection and was checking to see which ones we liked. Jesse was very helpful in helping her pick out the frames. She picked frames that were not apart of the 2 for deal. Jesse talked to his manager and was able to help us out with the right price point. Our overall experience was EXCELLENT!! As always we had awesome service from the entire staff at the store on Palomar in Chula Vista. Carolyn was so patient and helpful, and really worked with us every step of the way, even while juggling other customers at the same time. She has great interpersonal skills, as do her entire staff. Everyone always has a smile on their face, and they always greet you when you walk through the door. They know who you are, and they treat you like family!!! The Optometrist was great, she took the time to go the extra mile and listen to what I was saying. She wasn't trying to rush me. OK so Mr. 20/20 over here not really 20/20! Came into this place for an eye exam and just to make sure I was OK. I own a repair company and have to work with Apple products and small screws and really have to strain my eyes to focus. As soon as I walked in I was greeted and helped very quickly to get myself signed in and walks over to a waiting area for the doctor to look at my eyes. Once inside everything flew by from there the doctor had me laughing and done. They then had me pick out some frames. Then I picked up my frames a day later when completed. They are wonderful. What a breath of fresh air to walk in 20 minutes before closing and be greated with a smile by Alex, Carolyn and Jerry. They were quick to help and answer questions. Getting a pair of glasses is a challenge... they made it easy. They went above and beyond to help us choose frames! They sat us down and helped us order even though closing time had passed. This place is wonderful. The staff is so friendly and the environment is upbeat. Everyones is so willing to make sure I was being helped. I went in for contacts and they have THE BEST deal. Contacts glasses and free exams for a couple years. The contacts I orginally purchased were bother to my eyes and they fixed the problem with out an issue. Heather is very helpful and nice. She made sure every thing was right and that I was happy and bc of her I even got a good pair of sunglasses as well. I am bringing in my mom to see her too next week! Just walked in to check it out wasnt interested in buying anything honestly but I loved the way one of the employees Sharon greeted me, had a huge smile on her face and made me feel really welcomed. She explained how the promotions worked and was willing to help me look for frames very honest on how the frames looked on my face (which was very helpful) I ended up buying 2 pairs of progressive glasses. she honestly made my experience amazing! UPDATE: They claim 1-day service, well, it's been over two weeks and still no glasses! not only do you overpay but, you end up waiting weeks for their arrival! The ol' "Bait & Switch" the two pairs for "$69" glasses are bottom of the barrel, seriously, I walked in asking about the deal, they showed me about 10-pairs of low end frames and said "these qualify for the $69 deal, if you want anything else, they all have different prices." Nick was very helpful with the selection of frames to choose from and the convenience to have the glasses done. I was able to get my eye exam and first set of glasses done within a couple of days. My mother and I had walked in to buy myself a new pair of glasses when I was told my last pair of glasses could be salvaged for $4 with the warranty we had placed on the pair when I got them. When we came back my brought my old glasses that had a few glue stains on the lenses from trying to fix it myself but Diana managed to get the glue off with the new frames making it spotless. Ms. Diana was extremely helpful and clear with instructions and directions during my exam. Staff were following covid guidelines. All staff wore masks at all times and encouraged all clients. Also instructed and encouraged clients to use hand sanitizer when needed be. My husband and I went in for a eye exam and was immediately greeted warmly and escorted to the waiting area, where we were constantly checked on, and informed of a little tardiness. They were deeply apologetic and had us seen quickly.
