Not sure if you have been recently, but they have done a makeover of the store and it's pretty nice! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Pro Tip: they match their online pricing. We found a chair in store that was $150 less on their website! Always check just to see if there is a better deal. As well, very low cost they put the office chair together and it was available for pickup that evening. Side note: if you need to recycle a printer - they will accept them and give you a small amount in Staples money for your recycling depending on the model and age of the printer. read more

She told me exactly what to do online and how to get the most out of my order without over spending. She even gave me her contact info to reach out if I had questions. I will NEVER visit this Staples location again. I ordered online same day pick up in-store invitations at 10AM expecting them to be done within a few hours since they were a classic single sided invite. The email I received does state that they will be ready 30 minutes before store closing but since it was around 5 o'clock and I was around the area I decided to stop in to see if my order was complete. I went up to the print station and the young lady working mentioned what I previously stated above but since my order was simple she could print them out in about 10 minutes as I walked around the store. I went back up and saw that the invites were printed, they just needed to be cut which takes less than a minute. I guess there was an issue because there was an older blonde haired lady helping at the register. After a few minutes she said to me your order will not be ready until closer to 8:30 so I responded they are finished the young lady said I just needed to wait 10 minutes. Her response to me "well she was mistaken." I left without responding and speaking my mind. That was just flat out rude so she is telling me it is going to take Staples 3.5 hours to cut the cards that were already printed. Poor customer service. I sent my boyfriend to pick up the invitations since I already paid for them and refuse to step another foot in that store. This is not a next day service, boyfriend arrived a bit after 8 and they were still not ready and I did not get an email that they were ready until noon the next day. I think the invitations turned out great and were reasonably priced so I will use Staples again just not this location. Also, two other complaints: 1) the older lady was loud while talking to employees and customers entering, there is a difference between good customer service and just overdoing it and 2) all of the supplies are overpriced. read more

Buyer Beware: Very disappointed after a visit to my local Staples store located in Cary, NC. An absolute lack of urgency and care in what I needed. As a paying customer...this was fairly upsetting. I went online ahead of time and saw that the convertor I needed was indeed in store but unavailable online - (2) located in store live inventory. After waiting 30 minutes of being told we will 'look into this'...a rep slowly meandered over to where the product was supposed to be on the hanger and informed me that they didn't have it. I even informed 2 of the in store clerks ahead of time that I had checked and the product was not on the hook. I was also informed by the young gentleman that "a lot of the inventory is incorrect in the store system". Poor operation. Poor service. I plan on taking my business elsewhere. read more

Nice people. Nice location. I don't like the policy of buy one get one free by mailing in the coupon. I bought an expensive box of paper got one "not free". I mailed int the coupon. They mailed it back saying something small wasn't correct (I filled out the form. I sent the receipt, etc.) I didn't re-submit anything. I just voted with my feet and didn't shop there for a year. A year later I turn in some Ink Cartridges for the $2 reward. I try shopping there again only to find out the reward expired. Again, voting with my feet. read more

My wife ordered an item on line. She then made a special trip to the store on Kildaire Farm Rd. When she arrived, they said that they did not have it. No apologies, just that she would not be charged. When she was directed to the person in charge to see if another store had it. He said that he could not help because he had too long of a line. They are always rude and last time I went there I got into an argument with the print and copy guy because he gave me another person's order after I told him there was no way that could be mine (based on the size) and then he said my order was not there, despite me having a confirmation letter that it was ready. However, I now dread coming here because of one person. One. Person. Amazing how that will ruin your experience completely Probably will shop elsewhere from now on, and plan on telling everyone I know who shops there about my experience because it's that bad. Now, this location is 5 minutes away from my house so it's super convenient. However, the past two times I have been I have encountered the same individual at the register who, when I approach to check out, literally makes me feel uncomfortable. He clearly HATES his job. So, a couple things I have to say: 1-Look, sir, it's not my fault you don't like your job, so I don't make it my problem! You are seriously one of the rudest cashier's I have ever encountered. You never greet customers, can't look them in the eye, sound exasperated by everything, and need an attitude adjustment. Side note: Today, for example, I bought a couple of school supplies, but some supplies I needed to come back later for so I put them on temporary hold (which I know is not too hard to do). That was a "big problem" for him (literally what he said), and I "better come back today" to pick them up. The people that work here treat you like an inconvenience. I went there last night to purchase a pr and they all acted dumbfounded that Staples could possibly carry label printers. Then I go back the next day to buy labels for buy 1 get 1 30% off and the register worker refused to to allow me to signup for a rewards account to get the discount. This is a pretty standard Staples, so I'm not giving them 1 star for the quality of their stuff, but rather the poor service received. Problem 1: tried to send them a print job via the website and it was amazingly difficult to do...which leads to problem #2: went to the store to get them to do a print job for me, which was standard copies but each of 12 copies needed to be on different colors of paper. I got to the counter and one of the folks was busy with a client, one was at a copier. The guy at the copier saw me but didn't greet me or say he'd be with me in a minute, which was fine b/c I figured the other guy was counter help, but then the guy at the copier got up after a few minutes and asked me what I needed. I explained the job to him and asked if I could leave it and he said it'd be 2 hours. I didn't really have 2 hours so I decided to do it myself. Bought different colored paper, fed the machines, stood there about 20 minutes making my copies, and watched them a)play on their phones and b) do 2 people's jobs for them while I waited. Once they noticed me noticing them, they told me they could do my job for me but by then I was about 80% done. That in itself was annoying, but then I went through the regular check-out line to buy water and regular copier paper and I asked the guy at the counter for a cardboard box to hold my copies, as well as the reams of paper that I had opened and were now escaping from their plastic wrap. He said I could buy a box. I explained that it was for the copies I'd just made at their copy center and the paper I'd just bought and he said, again, I could buy a box, that they had no boxes to give away. I asked for the manager, who also said I could buy a box and that they had no boxes to give away. I expressed my astonishment at this since the store is FULL OF BOXES and once I got angry he said he'd find me a box...but I left and went next door to Trader Joes where the first person I asked gave me a box, no begging required. read more

Then they try to force you to buy the Square Trade warranty on the junk that they sell because they know their garbage products won't hold up.
