Don't take your chances printing here. Just spent three times the money I should have getting documents printed wrong--with poor quality and not formatted properly. When I asked an employee for help, there were blank stares and no solution offered other than try a different machine! And to top things off they never offered to refund me for the incorrect prints. HORRIBLE customer service! It's like they don't even want to be here. I did a lamination order of a banner. First they tried to say it was near impossible to laminate due to the size of the banner and then after having to problem shoot and convince them to do their job they said it wouldn't be ready till the next day. Now why does it take 24 hours to laminate something when the entire printing area looks like a ghost town, idk. When I got there the next day to pick it up the banner was sitting around undone and they tried to tell me that they were so busy that they couldn't even get to do it. The person over in lamination has an attitude like she doesn't want to be there and then tries to tell me the banner was going to be wrinkled. Then the manager just basically made excuses to reinforce her attitude. NEVER again will I be frequenting this establishment. They are good at wasting your time! read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! I had just a simple Amazon return. The clerk could not make the scanner work (by trying the same thing over and over, getting at the wrong landing page). She called a (I presume) supervisor asking for a different scanner and was told the supervisor was too busy to do it (then I saw the supervisor slowly walking around the store, doing who knows what). I was told to come the next day. I explained that I do not usually come in this area, that I just set the return through Staples because I had another errand here, just today. I was told then by the clerk that I can then come in a week or two, that they can't help me since the supervisor is busy. The bottom line: after this experience, I am never EVER using any services or shop at this Staples ever again! Customer beware!!! read more

I'm so glad there is an office supply / copy center/ fed ex locale (rolled Into one). It's a convenient combination especially when I need to run copies, add a box and ship it out. The 7th street Staples in Frederick appears regularly busy at the copy center and I believe I know why, the staff are professional and seem to have been trained to understand the machines, and what's best is they show kindness as they patiently guide one through self service upon request. The staff in the store also make an effort to be your personal guide to find the thing-a-majig you need in aisle 7. I took one star off for "Staples" because the prices can be too high even on clearance items which can make it difficult for the thrifty shopper. Review based on copying/printing services only. I've yet to buy a printer since I seldom need to print stuff but when I do - this is where I come and their services make it a breeze. The trick is getting the salesperson to walk you through it (and print black/white to save $$) as the first time using the kiosk can be a little tricky. I don't buy office supplies here but I can imagine their prices aren't the cheapest. read more

Highly recommend getting the Liquid Armor on your phone. It is a long-lasting and durable screen protector that keeps your screen in pristine condition. After having been charged $58 to get a booklet printed, I stopped going to Staples even though currently they are having this television media blitz concerning how great their printing prices are. Anyway, I started searching around and found this little print shop in the small town of Thurmont. Not only can they do everything that Staples can, they can (and, trust me, this is a big deal) perfect bind the book if the customer wants - something Staples only dreams they could do. So, I had them print and perfect bind two 96-page, full-color booklets - the same booklets I had Staples print. The charge: $44 for both books! That's $14 less than Staples charged me for one spiral-bound booklet! You'd think that since Staples can buy material in such vast quantities, that they could pass along the savings to the customer, a la Walmart. That sure as hell ain't the case. So, when you see that Staples ad, don't fall for the hype. read more

Thanks to the recent closing of a couple of Office Depot stores near me, Staples is the only large office supply store nearby. The store near me has a nice selection of office supply items, at less than full retail price. However, their prices are not competitive. read more

Very frustrated. Went in to get an estimate on a large print order, the person who helped me seemed irritated that I didn't know how many pages in the binder (over 1500 non-numbered pages) she gave me a quote based on my guess (I guessed 1700). Due to the cost I wanted to try to use their cop machine. Their machines kept jamming and damaging my documents and I was asked to move to another machine. After an hour of not getting through the first 60 pages, I asked them to copy for me. I explained that the pages were not in order (it's made up of many small documents) and that if there was any problems to stop and cancel the order. When I got my document back and they 2 copies they made, it took me 4 hours to fix everything.. very frustrated... read more
