I came to Staples to get some pictures done from my girlfriends home going celebration. While waiting for my pictures to get done I went to the bathroom and got emotional. I sat in one of the chairs and Miles the manager gave me a great price on a chair that I've been looking for for some time. His service was excellent because I was not even looking for a chair but he was so great I bought it and needs to be acknowledged. When I went back out to get my pictures Eddie/ has made my girlfriend look even more beautiful with his work. He was so humble and great he made me cry even more. When people give great service and go above and beyond I think it should be acknowledged. If you're ever in need of great service go to the staples Ascot Freddie on miles. have never been mistreated at this location but today the lady from the printing services was very rude, I keep telling her that the plans are not printing and she keeps lying, then after 29 minutes she realized that the paper was not loaded in the printer. Then I picked up a call in Spanish and she started yelling at me saying why I'm talking in Spanish. Then she walked away to a back office and slap the door. I'll never come back to this location. I really hope the manager does something about this bad costumer service. read more

I called about an order and whenever they would try to transfer me to the right person they would just hang up. This happen about 4 times before I was able to get through. And when I was able to talk to someone it of course went it out again. After a last try I was able to get to talk to someone and I told them the situation and she said oh I'll have you hold. Very attentive workers. The store was clean and bright. Plenty of parking. The line seemed long for the service counter but the person behind the counter was able to direct customers to the correct areas so they can get their projects done and reduce the line and the wait time. We walked in for some business cards and had to wait so long just yo get assistance, then another while to confirm they got our email, then another while to finally print what we wanted. Haven't been to this location is years since I moved but I needed to get my 2 year computer looked at. One because the screen was black and the other because it had no memory for me to do anything so I took it to the tech guy. First off, this is the only Staples I've been to where they have someone directing people where to go. Thought that was helpful. So the guy behind the counter "tries " to assist me. I told him about my screen and He asked who helped me and I told him I didn't remember. He managed to get my screen back to normal within a few seconds. Then, I tell him how I'm not able to download software or upgrade my Dropbox and he goes from helpful to NOT. Says that a normal computer has 500gb and mine has far less. Okay, so what do you suggest? I kept asking if anything can be done and he said I could get a flash to save stuff but nothing else could be done so I asked if I should get another computer and he didn't really answer. When people go to you for help, you should at least do so. I left not feeling right and On the verge of buying another. I later asked a coworker who suggested I delete my recycle bin, try and remove programs and save stuff on a flash. That managed to clear up enough to that the software I needed downloaded. I still may go to another Staples for a second opinion but if you can't help someone then you shouldn't. I forgot to write my review but this is for an incident that happened a few weeks back. It was around 3pm on a weekday and I came in to get 4 documents laminated. As I was waiting in line, there were two representatives that were complaining and bickering at each other (basically telling each other off as to why they were so behind). I finally got to my turn and the store rep had notified me that it would take 4 hours to get 4 documents laminated. I figured that this was ridiculous and asked why. She explained that they were backed up because her coworker was not doing her job correctly and because of all the other orders, it would take 4 hours to laminate 4 documents. I thought this was ridiculous. I understood that orders before me were their priority and that they had to follow the schedule in which the orders came in; however, to be complaining and bickering with your coworker in front of customers was not professional at all. I figured, if they have time to fight in front of customers then they should have the time to get my four documents laminated in less than 4 hours. **Review of Staples Copy Center** Staple's Copy Center saved my butt! Life happens and I forgot a document on my way to a meeting. x_X! Quickly looking up copy places I found this nearby staples that got the job done. The whole process is very easy, all you have to do is email the copy center (cc0165@staplescopycenter.com) with your document attached and any instructions like number of copies or type of paper you want it on. Then go in and pick it up! Cool how the copy center sends you an automatic reply to let you know they got your request. Dashing into the store it literally took a couple of minutes so I was able to make my meeting on time! I also had zero cash/change on me at the time and was able to use my credit card even though my transaction was less than a dollar. Thanks for being there in a pinch. =) read more

We came in the Staples on a Thursday morning at about 1045 and I needed to print some ID cards out. We needed to print the front and the back and I've used two different pieces of paper before and you get bubbles in between it so we had some help getting it lined up and only printing it on one piece of paper. Melissa helped me out and she was very patient with me I screwed up and brought the wrong file I was trying to match things up that didn't fit. I have been a regular Customer of this Staples store in the Bixby Knolls area of Long Beach, CA for many years, going as far back as the days when I was a student. They have an excellent selection of office supplies, computers, electronics, ink, and toner. I especially enjoy shopping whenever they have the 20% off entire purchase coupons (with some exclusions). Their Copy and Print Center is excellent! I go here to make my photocopies, as well as to do some print and business card orders. Most of all, I enjoy their excellent Customer Service! ONE Star for computer usage and color printing. 30 cents per minute to use the computer (used it for about 7min) and printed out 30 papers in color, total cost was $17!!! The only reason I will give it 2 stars is because this is partially my fault. I should've ran out of Staples leaving all my supplies and printed this out at school. Would've been cheaper. I come in here to make copies of paperwork for my records. I use the self serve copy machines that are available in the copy area of the store. They work fine when you know how to use them. If you don't and need to ask for help, they will get to you after the line at the copy center is gone. Get a card and put a few bucks on it and black and white copies are 10 cents plus a cent for taxes! Place is well stock with any needs you need for office supplies. Worst Customer Service Ever! The overall rating of this Staples says it all 3-stars. I went to print out some documents I needed from my USB drive which should've been a quick job but Karen in the Copy and Print Center couldn't be bothered. She was just sitting behind the counter and no print jobs were being run. I advised her I only had enough change for my copies but she told me if the purchase isn't over $5.00 dollars she can't help me. I found that first of all ridiculous and second of all I would understand if she was super busy and couldn't help me because of that reason. I left and went to Office Depot and they got the job done no hassles. I called Staples corporate offices to share my experience and they said the supervisor would follow up with me. Well I guess this is a common occurrence, the supervisor Desiree Hernandez never reached out to me. I would avoid this Staples in my opinion. I can't say this reflects the whole store but more just the printing station. We always come here to have labels printed for us. First of all I wasn't even able to get the name of the young lady who worked there because her name tag was hidden under her sweater or she just didn't want to wear it. Multiple times I had to call her to get help. She would just look at us and then look away. I don't know if she was zoning out or maybe on something. In the past we have been able to send our logo to this location via email and they would help us with adjusting it so it can be printed on multiple labels. This was convenient because it would save us time of having to do it at home. Instead the young lady without a name tag said she couldn't help (maybe because she was too busy zoning out) and said we have to go to the website to do it ourselves. Again if that was the case why pay for the services of having them printed there. Normally there is an energetic and very helpful associate who is always on top of her game and very helpful.
