im not sure how many stars to give but the employees here are pretty helpful they try ....but do not purchase the hp officejet 3830 series printer omg this dumb thing takes forever to set up evrrytime you use it you have to trouble shoot to connect to computer it prints slow and runs out of ink quick read more

Worst customer experience ever managers uncooperative and have no care for their customers. They put effort into making it the worst possible experience. If you ever order anything online do not trust their store pick up at this location. Avoid this store if possible. read more

I've never been so mad enough to write a bad review immediately after leaving the darn place. I put $4 into the express card so I can print ONE freakin page and after being on the computer until the money on the card ran out, I went up to the lady all like, "dude your computer keeps taking my money and not printing anything out" and she says "lol its out of order." YOU BEEN STANDING THERE THE ENTIRE TIME?? AND YOU COULDNT CARE ENOUGH TO TELL ME AS SOON AS I SAT DOWN? So she says "heres a usb drive, save it on this thing and i'll print it for you" so i go back to the computer and the time ran out -__- All I had left was a $10 and I was NOT willing to insert a total of $14 just to print out a single page when I can buy an ENTIRE ink cartridge for $13 maybe?? So I gave back the USB because, let's be honest $4+ for a single page haha NOPE. Don't even bother with this place's print services. Seriously. Find a library. I don't even buy my supplies here either, everything costs too much. read more

I wanted to call the store before making the trip because I had a simple question about school supplies, looking for stretchable book covers to be exact. I called around 7:30pm and no answer...just kept ringing with no answer and the online store was no help either. Bummer because the store is conveniently located near my house. I had a client I had to see in Boyle Heights on Wednesday night. Prior to going to the clients house I had to make an important stop to print out a proposal for a customer. I figured let me call Staples since it is the closest one near by so I can make a quick stop and quickly print out the documents and then head out. Not realizing that Fedex was near by (map was telling a far off location) I called ahead of time to ask them if I can email the docs to them so when I get there I can just pay for it and have it printed just like Fedex does. When I get there a chubby girl with glasses is attending someone and I am next in line. After she was done with his request, I was next and asked nicely if I can have my docs printed that I had previously emailed them. Without being nice or courteous about it she said sorry you have to wait 15 minutes until I am done. Then I asked her it why so long when they already have docs in the email!? She then said I am sorry but he is first. I am thinking to myself either she does not know how to multi task or is just plain lazy or does not want to help. So then she recommends me to use the computer station which by the way is a minimum $5 charge! LOL.. So after all that junk, I end up spending 9 bucks on what I would pay 3 times less for at FEdex. Never will I ever go there again to print nothing! read more

The workers are so disorganized. I went to buy some staples and bought the wrong kind, so I want to get an exchange. When I came back to the store and show the cashier the box of staples, she said they, don't carry that item in their stock at all. I went to talk to the manager and he said according to his "system," there's no way I could of bought that item, when I have just bought it in the morning of that day. read more

Don't come to the copy center here, the employees are pretty incompetent. Don't know what they're doing and don't know anything about their products. The associates didnt even know how to print on label paper. Like wtf. Waited probably 30 minutes to get one copy because they wouldn't let me do it on their copier only for them to mess it up. Then I had to redo it all on the copier and then the machine messed up. So bad read more

I love this staples!! The staff is super friendly and helpful. Cathy helped me at the copy & print station she was honestly the nicest lady on earth. She got the job done quick, i had to return a book and since it was my first time doing that (& first time at staples ever) i was so lost but she was patient and got it done within 3 minutes all while helping out other people as well. read more

Poor cell phone repair service screen came of both times I repaired it here don't recommend to no one. Ricky guy who fixed it does no know what he is doing as told by my new repair man cheaper and better quality stay away from geee read more

Purchased ink cartridge from Staples.com. Ink ran out after printing ~20 pages within 2 weeks. Staples.com advised to bring defective product to Staples store for exchange. Unfriendly staff at this Monterey Park store was unwilling to exchange. Yelled out in pubic (with any attitude), "The guy ran out of ink and want another cartridge!" Unfriendly staff totally believed that a cartridge running out after printing 20 pages was reasonable, arguing that there is a +/- 5% yield (meanwhile manufacturer claims cartridge can last up to 350 pages). After much unnecessary efforts and phone calls, unfriendly staff exchanged the cartridge. They totally believed that I cheated so I could get a free cartridge - OMG - My money NOT well spent! I will definitely go to another vendor for future needs. read more
