This dealership offers coffee that tastes old...even if you are there when they first open. There isn't a gas station close and they have a "cafe" with overpriced cookies. I recently bought a little bottle of touch up paint from Stapp Toyota in Frederick to fix two tiny chips I caused on my mother's brand new looking 2002 Toyota Camry. Fortunately I asked for the receipt. Otherwise I would not have been given one. Someone from a nearby body shop had suggested I do that rather than pay $500 to fix the entire panel that contained the chips. I tried my best to do a good job of covering the chips with as little touch up paint as possible but was not satisfied with the look of the repair. I soon realized that touch up was not the solution and resolved to return the $14.55 bottle of paint within 5 days from the day of purchase. It's been eight hours since I returned the paint bottle and I am still shaken by the experience. That is why I am taking time away from other things to write this review. This is my first review ever of this nature. As soon as I approached the parts department I knew I was going to have a tough time getting my money back. One older team member referred me to the parts manager who meticulously inspected the bottle of paint to check for the quantity and quality of the remaining paint. The bottle was basically full for I had used only about less than half a drop of paint. Then he had me stand in front of him for a couple of long minutes while he was trying to decide what to do. Finally I told him that I was going to wait outside in my car as I was very tired. Five minutes later he came out to have me sign the return paper. In the meantime this manager talked to me in a unbelievably disrespectful and condescending way. I asked him about the return policy and he gave me false and irrelevant information. Then he rudely walked me out and waited a while at the door to make sure I drove away. I truly felt treated like a criminal. I could not have a reason governed conversation with this individual. What was even worse was that the other team members right in front of the service dept. who had overheard our conversation, also made rude comments siding with the manager. I had even heard someone laugh. This was the worst I had ever experienced returning an item at a business of the size of this Toyota dealership. I consider such behavior on the part of the team members there utterly unacceptable. No one likes to be treated in such a manner. Please do not go to this dealership for your service! I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. I have been to this dealership before and asked for the same service, but felt like I actually didn't get the tire rotation, which I paid for. This time I was presented with a laundry list of problems with my vehicle totaling $1019. I opted out and just asked for the oil change and tire rotation. When my truck was brought around I walked outside and showed the customer service representative that the tires had actually not been rotated. I had marked the left front tire and took a picture. The customer service representative said she would need to talk to the technician. When she returned she took the rotation charge off my bill and told another lie stating that the technician had only rotated the right side because that was the only side that needed rotating. These people are dishonest, please don't take your vehicle to them. read more

STAY AWAY FROM STAPP This was the worst sales experience ever. And not is the stereotypical hard sell car dealership. Initially it felt like they did not want to sell cars. I was not greeted at entry. Then one sales person asked me if I needed help. I said I wanted to look at the highlander. Then he disappears for a while, returns and asks me if I am here for service. I said no and he said he's not allowed to talk to me if I am in service. The wording was strange but I chose to ignore it. He disappears never to return again. He did not offer to help or get me someone to help. Sorry I did not get his name but I did notice that he was busy on his computer and not with a customer. As a was checking out the highlander I sat sit in front and sat in rear seats, opening rear door. moving seats up/down, checking out storage... after all that someone did offer to help me but it took a while. At this time my husband was also checking out with me the car so maybe it was the "woman alone" thing. The second sales person offered to take us for a test drive. When asked about the different levels of trim he said it would be better to see the different levels of trim in the cars. We repeatedly asked what was in each trim and about specific features (lane assist, blind spot. auto stopping, and more) He could not summarize the features correlated with in the trim level but rather wanted us to tell him what we wanted. I sensed it was that he did not know the difference. Even when we got in the higher trim level car he did not highlight any of the features but rather left it up to whatever we observed. (He told us incorrect information regarding the engine which I realized after reading the brochure and website.) He indicated he had worked for Toyota for 30 years (I doubt any of it was in sales or even customer service) After the test drive, when we returned to the show room I thought we would sit down and discuss what each trim level had and see how it aligns with our needs instead sent us onto the internet room to build the car we wanted. When we did not find the features listed that we had asked about he said he was not familiar with the program and that we should go to google. I asked if there someone who could answer our questions. He yells at me "are you calling me stupid". My husband and I said we just wanted some information. It quickly went downhill from here so we left. I will NOT return. What also worries me is the other nearbyToyota dealerships get 1/2 star less on yelp so I am not sure what to do. read more

I was traveling through the Denver area, needed an oil change so scheduled an appointment with Stapp, and was disappointed with the lack of initial customer greeting. Although they washed the vehicle after servicing it, they didn't even bother to dry the vehicle which resulted in water spots (not to mention the bugs still on the windshield). Checking the invoice after I'd left the dealership I noticed that they had added 7 quarts of oil to the vehicle when the specs called for 5 quarts. I checked the level on the dipstick and it was quite a bit over the full marker so I called and returned the vehicle. They did verify my findings, drained and refilled the oil to the correct level. I thought the whole visit was beneath my previous Toyota dealership experiences. read more

Service is TERRIBLE! Today I brought my 2004 Highlander in for an oil change and brake inspection, and I have been here for 3 hours and counting. I had them replace my brakes less than a year ago and they are already screeching whenever I slow down or stop my car. At first they told me nothing was wrong with the brakes, which is true, but they didn't believe me when I told them about the squeaky brakes. I took the mechanic on a test drive and proved it to him, so then I had to sit for another hour after already waiting 2 hours. They told me the noise is due to "glazing" of my tires due to wear and tear but I think that is ludicrous. How can my brand new brakes have "wear and tear" after less than a year of use? The old brakes that were on my car when I bought it 6 years ago never made a sound and worked great too. I made a huge mistake going to Stapp in the first place, and I will never come here for car service again. I will say that the staff is friendly and pleasant, but they just rip you off though. read more

Took our vehicle in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Worst experience I have ever had. The oil change and tire rotation took 2-1/2 hours to complete, seriously. The best part; they FORGOT TO PUT OIL IN THE CAR!!! Drove home and 10 miles later all of the warning lights come on and the car dies. COMPLETELY DESTROYED THE ENGINE! You would think that having your car ruined would be the worst part but it wasn't. Stapp towed the car back to their shop and acknowledged that they didn't put oil in it. Metal shavings were found in the oil pan and the error codes, read from the car, showed overheating of the CAM. Stapp's service manager calls and offers to replace the engine with an engine salvaged from a totaled vehicle. Unbelievable. Of course I refuse that option and only then does he offer another choice; Stapp will re-build the engine with a combination of a new engine block and reuse of parts from my damaged engine. Not too thrilled with that option either (of course I would love to reuse parts from an engine that was run without oil!). After further complaining on my end the service manager says they will buy my car and give me a discount on a replacement. That actually sounded reasonable and I accepted and was informed that he would call back in the morning with one of the Stapp's to go over the purchase/sale. The phone call comes the next morning and while on a conference call with the service manager and one of the Stapp's I am told that WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN BUYING YOUR CAR. Are you kidding me?!?!?!?! They don't give an explanation and tell me that I can have a used engine installed or pursue the rebuild. At this point I haven't yelled at anyone or complained; I have tried to be as reasonable as possible and the only thing Stapp has done right is to give us a loaner to drive until this is resolved. Instead of accepting this I email the principal owner of Stapp Interstate Toyota to state my concerns with their response to their destruction of my car. Brion Stapp calls and after an apology and lengthy discussion he tells me that they will buy my car and give me a discount on a replacement. The call comes the next day and they LOW BALL the offer. Literally the offer for my car was $1,500 lower than any reasonable KBB or Edmunds estimate for trade in to a dealer (not even considering the private party value). The "discount" was a joke and the overall offer was a net loss for me. At this point I have authorized Stapp to move forward with repairs only after getting a written listing of what exactly will be done during the rebuild and a warranty for the repairs. I need my car back and am stuck with the options Stapp has given me. Imagine having to trust the same people who forgot to put oil in the car with an engine rebuild. The most amazing part is that Stapp destroyed my engine and has never offered to install a new one. They could order a "crate" motor and replace what they broke but nope, they would rather nickel and dime the issue rather than actually care about their customer. If they had responded in any sort of reasonable fashion this would have been a 5 star review and they would have earned a customer for life. This has been the worst experience I have ever been through. Never go to Stapp, not for a purchase and definitely not for service of your vehicle. read more

We took our Subaru there to have the turbo replaced since the Subaru dealership was two weeks out. We got the car back 3k later, had to take it back once. Then 6 months later the engine was burned up, most likely due to Toyota not checking the oil for metal shavings when changing the turbo. The communication is horrible there, my wife's car was ready and they never even called to let her know. Furthermore, if you have a toyota and your warranty is coming to an end, make sure you take it some where else to really find out what might need to be fixed before the warranty expires, because this service department won't tell you until after the warranty. Most dealership service departments are expensive, but you get good service and the work is done right. Not at the Stapp Toyota's service department, they are as shady as they come!! read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. I can't begin to express my frustration with this dealership. We bought our vehicle there almost 3 years ago. The buying experience was fine. The service department, on the other hand, is terrible. We had our 5 oil changes after purchasing our Rav4 with no real pros or cons. We've since had our vehicle serviced 3 times, and every time, there's been an issue. The first issue was when my husband hit a patch of ice and slid into a curb. The wheel was bent, and had to be replaced. Insurance covered it, so the service department billed our insurance company. When the service writer called to tell us our car was ready, my husband told the man we wanted our damaged wheel. (Why should they get the money for scrapping it? We've paid for it, we'll recoup what little we can.) The service writer told my husband that they no longer had the wheel; it had been thrown in the trash. My husband insisted we be returned our wheel, as it is our property. The service writer also told my husband there was a balance of around $200 we would be responsible for when we picked up the car. My husband informed him he would have to bill the insurance company again, because we had already paid our deductible and the insurance company was responsible for the rest. The service writer's response was, "That's okay, we'll just take that charge off the bill."......so if it was that easy to make that charge go away, WHY were you going to charge me? How many people have they taken advantage of in this way? By the way, when we pick up the car, our damaged wheel that was "no longer there, because it was thrown away," was in the back of our vehicle. The service writer said he was able to go find it. Hmm. Interesting. The second issue was when our USB jack quit working in the center console. My husband called to make an appointment to have it fixed. The service writer said it was a quick fix, and he guaranteed the part was in stock. My husband verified this TWICE, because we didn't want to make the drive in 2 cars to the dealership more times than was necessary to drop off the Rav4. We planned the drop off accordingly, as the service writer said it would only take about 4 hours, and the part was already in stock. We get to the dealership to drop off the car and once again, the part is there, ready to go, and we should have our car ready in 4 hours. About an hour after dropping off our car, we get a phone call. The part has to be ordered and we'll have to bring the car back in a few days to have it installed. Why were we guaranteed to have our car back, FIXED, in 4 hours? Why were we guaranteed that the part was in stock? Why did we waste our time and gas driving 2 cars to the dealership to drop off one car, only to have it returned unfixed? At this point, we're very frustrated, so we decide to express our concerns to the customer service manager, Jacquelyn Joy. We told her of our problem from that day, as well as our previous problems. We had the same service writer for all of these issues so far, so we were hoping there could be a resolution. We ask her for a courtesy car, because the extra time and gas involved in driving back and forth repeatedly while trying to work around our work schedules, is a real pain. She informs us that Toyota doesn't provide courtesy cars. That's fine, but as a dealership, can you not choose to provide one yourselves? In any case, we were really hoping we would have no further problems with the service department. It really seemed like something was going to be done to remedy the problems. Last weekend, I dropped off our Rav4 to be serviced yet again. Our radio power button was broken. It was stuck down, but the radio was on. It wasn't really much of an issue, we just couldn't turn the radio off. We also had a bad wheel bearing, so we just had the radio fixed because our extended warranty covered it, and the car would be in the shop anyway to get the new wheel bearing. We dropped off the car on 9/19, to be picked up on 9/26. We were going on vacation on the 20th, so we dropped the car off early, and wouldn't be back to pick it up until the following Saturday evening. I realized too late that I had forgotten a CD in the CD player, so that's gone now, but that's my own fault. They had our vehicle for an entire week. We picked up our car yesterday evening. The wheel bearing seems to be fixed, as I don't hear the noise it was making when there was a problem. But my radio isn't fixed properly. I realized last night that no radio stations were working. Not one. They had a week to get it right, and they still couldn't do a competent job. My husband's guess is that they forgot to plug the antennae into the back of the new radio. Why would they return a vehicle to a customer without checking that the service they performed actually worked? Hopefully we can get our car fixed properly tomorrow. In any case, we will NEVER return to this service department. Giving them 3 tries was way too generous. read more

I worked with Bruce Harrington and I can easily say he is by far the best car salesmen I have ever worked with. I feel as though we came to an agreement on the price of my vehicle where the dealership and Bruce were still making a good profit, but I was still getting a good deal...that is all anyone can really ask for when purchasing a new car. Throughout my entire process there was zero pressure or annoying emails or phone calls, I was given all of the info I needed to make an informed decision and the time to do so at my own pace. Terrible, wanted an hour of labor to hook up TechStream (Toyota's proprietary diagnostic platform) to diagnose what ended up being a switch on the brake pedal that allowed the vehicle to shift. No way balloon heads. Decided to give them another chance on a routine oil change and some other items and they called the day before an appointment saying they can't rent me a car while they keep mine (which I have done in the past.) Trying to tell me it only takes and hour, I have NEVER been out of that place in an hour. Used to be great, now they suck, avoid. read more

Purchase a Certified Used Highlander in February from Jim. The transaction was smooth and painless. Props to him for being so nice while we entertained our 2 yr daughter for a couple of hours. A few weeks later I was reviewing the service history and Surprise #1: they had installed a remote starter when they had sold this vehicle as new to the original owner. I thought, awesome, extra feature...Surprise #2: the remote starter didn't work. The SUV would light up, but would not turn over. Surprise #3: When I called the service dept at Stapp to ask if the remote starter was covered under the 12 month bumper to bumper Toyota Certified Used Vehicle Warranty, the nice lady told me no, it was not. Surprise #4: I had a gut feeling it was covered, so I called the Toyota Certified Used Car warranty hotline, and the man clearly stated the remote starter SHOULD be covered under the bumper to bumper since it was sold with the car when new, and it was a Toyota OEM product. Surprise #5, the plastic body cladding at the bottom of the door on the rear passenger door is loose. I found this out while washing my car. I guess body panels are not included in the 200 point Toyota Certified Used Car Inspection, b/c apparently I'm supposed to pay to have that fixed too. Stapp Toyota is FULL of Surprises! Sales department is fine. The service department sends misleading coupons they choose not to honor. Their database has me correctly listed as a Prius owner and generates "personalized" coupons saying to bring in my car for an oil change and service at a discounted price. Then I'm told it's $35 extra because a Prius needs synthetic oil. Why then send a "personalized" coupon to me, soliciting me to bring the PRIUS in using a "service special" coupon if the coupon does not apply to me? I discussed this with two people in the service deparment who are very unconcerned about having a routine bait and switch tactic. They offered me $12 off of the $35 surcharge :/ No thanks! I'd rather pay more at a place that is honest about the price. read more

Sales: We recently purchased a new vehicle from Stapp Toyota. The sales rep, Aaron, was great! He seemed genuinely interested in getting us in something we wanted and was not pushy like other dealers we have come across before. If he did not know an answer to a question, he did not try to BS us, he would go find out. We would definitely work with him again on a future car purchase. As with most dealerships, we had to haggle. We negotiated the new vehicle price easily, but the trade-in took a lot more effort to settle. Luckily , we had done our homework and knew the fair market value. Service: Verdict is still out, but trending positive. The first time we went in for warranty work on a Tacoma, we were told it was NOT covered and we would need to pay out of pocket. Frustrated and knowing this was incorrect, we took the truck across town to another Toyota dealership with good reviews. That dealership acknowledged the problem and went above and beyond. A year later we returned to Stapp for warranty work and this time they took care of the truck timely and professionally. The most recent visit was for the new vehicle when we had a mechanical malfunction. The service was great. They contacted us after the diagnostics was completed, and gave us an accurate day when the truck would be done. They even sent a courtesy van to assist in the logistics of the vehicle pick-up. In summary, 5 stars for sales thanks to Aaron, and 3... maybe 4 stars for the service department. read more

Purchased my Toyota when dealer was still in Longmont (Longmont Toyota) back in 2007. Moved to Weld County a few years before dealer moved to Frederick and changed name to Stapp Toyota. All of my maintenance and repairs has been done at this dealer. In all the years I have had this car the only things I have needed is one battery and two sets of tires. Car now has 135K miles. What a gem of a car this is. Took car in for regular maintenance and this time it had some minor issues. Most major was the emergency light that went on when I had to make a sudden stop a week prior. It lasted for about 90 seconds and went off. Dealer could not find any issues with this during my maintenance. Wanted to charge me $117 for checking but came back and did not charge me. They could not explain why this happened. Overall service was good. read more

We Purchased our vehicle from Stapp Toyota and the experience was okay, but when I contact them via email regarding a question to do with a vehicle we might be interested in purchasing, even though I provide all my details, they always contact my husband - that is just damn irritating. The service department is another thing altogether and it is deplorable. We have usually dropped our vehicle off overnight, so have completed the questions on the envelope that you put your keys in - I don't think in all the time that we have had our vehicle serviced there, that anyone has actually read what we have written. We have been advised via a call that they need to replace an item on the car, only to find out when we go to pick it up, that they actually don't have that part in stock. By far the worst experience was the last one, and I will not be going back to Stapp Toyota for either a new vehicle nor servicing our current one. We booked our car in and I went to check it in, the person behind the counter couldn't find the booking, by either my last name or the phone numbers that we have on record. I though he was still looking or checking me in, but in fact he had decided to assist another person and just left me standing there. Finally he comes back and we get the car checked in. We get the call the the car is ready to be picked up, so I head on over. I am the 3rd person in line, no worries I stand there waiting. He finishes up with the other two clients and I am waiting for him to acknowledge me. Nothing, not a thing. A second service person comes in and asks him if I am taken care of, No she just walked in - rubbish I say - I have been standing here patiently waiting for you to finish with the first two client and then you just ignored me - I was there for at least 10 minutes. I get taken to the cashier to pay. Since they can't locate my keys I am left at the cashier, so I suggest that I pay while I am waiting - that apparently threw them as the service guy will want to go through the service list with me - that doesn't mean I can't pay while I am waiting. Finally finish up and we get the car and leave. We get the customer survey, which I complete as I usually do, when it is sent in I am advised that I will be contacted by a Manager. That was around 3 months ago and I am still waiting to be contacted. As I stated, we will not be providing repeat business to Stapp Toyota in either the purchasing of a vehicle (which we are currently doing) or servicing a vehicle with them. read more

I wish I had read the other reviews before I took my car in for an oil change. I had an appointment at 3:20 and didn't get out of there until 5:10 ~ almost 2 hours! I finally approached the service desk to ask about my car (who knows how much longer I would have waited) and they had to find the employee who was supposed to be taking care of my vehicle. She was somewhere else, with another employee (male) doing who knows what in a back office. To top it off, my car was bone dry after having it washed following the oil change. It's November so there is no way it's dry unless it sat somewhere, while I waited for no reason in the showroom. When I asked what took so long, I was given the generic "we are backed up/busy/holidays" nonsense. So, she lied. The only amusing part about all of this was how quick they were to hand me off to her. Makes me think they are all just as sick of her lack of professionalism and customer service as I was at the time. My advice? Go somewhere else. read more

DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP. They are rude, nasty, and could care less about their customers. I purchased a new Rav 4, and had to replace brakes at 30k and the battery at 32k. I was told by a rude, holier-than-thou manager named Ryan, that Toyota was having problems with the brakes on the Rav 4, but if I (ie, at my own cost) repaired the brakes with new pads they would last much longer. At 60,000 mi, that is, 30k later, the pads again needed to be replaced. Ryan could not have been ruder, less helpful, and more pompous if he tried. When I tried to discuss the situation with him, he told me "this discussion is over." Luckily I purchased a new battery elsewhere. Now at 40k, the radiator hoses are leaking. I have had all of these problems checked by other dealerships and repair shops. The parts are garbage. IF IT WERE POSSIBLE TO GIVE ZERO STARS TO THIS DEALERSHIP, I WOULD. read more

I've dealt with this dealership twice and both experiences left me with a bad taste in my mouth. My first experience was September 2015. My husband called to schedule a transmission flush. He was quoted a price over the phone but when I got there they told me a completely different price. That price was around $100 more than the original price. I guess that should have been my sign to seek out services else where. My next experience was Oct 2015 when my ac/heat knob stopped working. I took it in for a diagnostic test. I was extremely shocked to find out that it would cost $1400 to fix the problem. They said the cable that controlled the knob needed to be replaced as well as the other cable that controls which area the vents blow out. Thankfully, I didn't have $1400 lying around so my husband opted to order the cables and try to replace them himself. Once he opened up the dash he found the a/c control cable had just fallen off the track and the other cable was not damaged. We were able to return the cables which cost less than $100 dollars total. I can't believe I actually considered paying that amount of money. Even if the cables were worn out it would have taken less than 2 hours to fix. Obviously, I will not be visiting this dealership again. read more

Worst car buying experience I've ever had! I test drove a 4Runner, and got some info and numbers for both leasing and buying. I liked the laid-back approach of Marcus at first. But then I tried to get a call back-two days later I received a text. I assumed he had the day off or was sick-it hapens. My husband and I decided to go ahead and buy the car. I went back into the dealership to show my trade-in and get the paperwork going. Marcus was busy, and told me to come back three and a half hours later. Come Friday at 5pm, I come back and he's still with the same people. I get pawned onto Dana-nice, but had no idea what was going on with our situation. I have to go over everything again, and then I have to haggle on what my car is worth (which was already assesed by another dealership) to finally move forward. They bring the car around, and it's a different car and package! I informed them that I test drove and got numbers for the premium package and this was the standard package. I was then told there was a miscommunication, and there's no way they can honor their price/offer on that car. Bait and switch anybody? Needless to say, I left without the car. Here's my favorite part.. Marcus called my husband the next day to tell him it's odd I left, and had the audacity to tell him I "must have been confused on which car I drove." Luckily my husband test-drove the car with me, and we can tell the difference between leather and cloth seats. The good news? I was introduced to Tony at Stevinson Toyota. read more

Avoid at all costs. I went in for a simple oil change, as I was short on time to do the service myself and the location was convenient. Huge mistake, one of the worst dealers I've ever encountered. I purchased my vehicle from a different Toyota dealer less than 5,000 miles ago (it's a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle). At the time I purchased this dealer did a full inspection and replaced any worn parts. Stapp proceeded to try to push $2500 in "necessary" repairs on me, price gouging at it's worst. Highly skeptical that $2500 worth of parts had worn out in 5,000 miles I passed on the extra service and did some more research including calling my original dealer. Turns out Stapp was recommending various services as many as 25,000 miles before the Toyota recommended service interval. They were recommending the replacement of parts that did not even exist on my particular model and parts that had been replaced just 5,000 miles before when I bought the vehicle from the original dealer. I'm not sure whether it was incompetence or flat out dishonesty on their part, but regardless use extreme caution. Is there any way to give 0 stars? I have purchased 2 vehicles through Stapp and have the service on all of our Toyotas done there as well. There have been a couple of times where I have been told that I needed a new cabin filter. I never ended up replacing it, and now my multipoint inspections are coming up that it is fine. I never knew that cabin filters could regenerate. This past April I took in my Sequoia for the regular oil change and inspection. Everything was marked green on the report and I was told everything was looking good. My Sequoia was up for another oil change in August. I called Stapp Interstate Toyota and the receptionist tried to connect me with the service department at least 4 times and nobody answered. She finally got me to a voicemail where I left my name, contact information, what I needed, several days/times I was available for service thinking she would call me with an appointment time. More than 24 hours later and nobody had called me back so I called again. Someone was finally available to schedule an appointment with me. I brought my Sequoia in for its oil change and inspection. As I sat in the waiting room, the sales people located in the open corner office were quite vocal about a person that had purchased 2 vehicles that past weekend. Something had gone amiss in the purchases and the salespeople were loud enough that I could hear that they were annoyed by the customer. In my opinion, that was quite unprofessional. When I went to get my car, I was told that I had to sign off on a paper stating I was aware that the cords were showing on one of my tires and could cause a blow out soon. Once I got home, I pulled April's report to see what they had reported about my tires. All of the tire reports came up as green. In the small print, there was something about abnormal wear on the inner surface of 2 tires. If that was the case, why was it marked Green? Needless to say, when I received the email to fill out a survey, I was honest in my impression of them. Within a couple of days, Jacqueline contacted me to discuss my experience. She agreed that the sales people speaking loudly about customers in ear shot of other customers was completely unprofessional and that she would have that addressed. That was a good sign. She said that the service manager was not there that day and she would talk to him the next day and contact me then. That was last week. Jacqueline did not call back. So, last night we contacted her. She stated she had forgotten about this complaint and talked with my husband about it. We were on the way out the door and she said she would call back tomorrow (8/22/2015). So, today is Saturday and she finally just called. There were a million reasons why this was my fault and that they had been saying I needed tires since 2012, etc. etc. I had new tires put on in July of 2012. HMMMMM. I began to get agitated and she mumbled something about getting someone and then the line went dead. It is now 50 minutes since the line went dead and she has not called back making me think that to Stapp Interstate Toyota that my experience there means nothing to them. I will never go back there again for service or sales and encourage you to do the same. While my previous visits have not been as horrendous as this latest one, I have heard the salespeople talk about customers...sometimes nicely, sometimes not so nice. I have had inconsistent service reports...remember the regenerating cabin filter? It all came to a head this last visit. I truly believe that the past few years have just been an indication that Stapp is more concerned with getting money than producing good service and appreciating their customers. If other Toyota dealerships behave the same way, I am no longer surprised that Toyota no longer ranks number 1. Too bad, because I really liked Toyotas. read more
