Because Texas laws can be really stupid sometimes and everyone and their mom has cracked windshield that typically are not covered by insurance, I reached out to these great people and I am so glad I did! I was able to get scheduled within 48 hours and they gave me a two hour window to fix my vehicle. From my two experiences with them, (they had to return to fix an unrelated crack from a rock), they typically arrive on the tail end of that window they give you- just an FYI They didn't offer me military discount, but that's OK because after doing some research, they quoted me a very fair and already discounted price. I hope I will never have to see them again, but I will call them if I do!

I explained to them that I need to fix the chip so I don't have to go through a claim process with my credit card, because who wants to really go through claim processes? Nobody. He said no problem we can get this fixed for you in the morning before you return it. He came at 7am and sent me before and after photos. The "after photo" he texted me appeared as if there was no more visible chip so I figured mission accomplished. When I got in the car I was shocked. This was not fixed at all and actually looked worse than before because of the drilling he did. (Photos attached) So now I'm going through the claim process that I was trying to avoid and out hard earned dollars that they refused to refund.

I am writing this review to caution against using Star Auto Glass for windshield replacement. I made the unfortunate decision to go with Star Auto Glass over more reputable competitors because their prices were slightly lower and it has ended up costing me more in the long run after having to replace parts that Star Auto Glass damaged and would not replace. The person that I dealt with was named, "Felix". I sent this review to Felix 10 days in advance of posting in order to give him an opportunity to correct the problem prior to me posting this review. He has not replied to texts nor answered or returned phone calls. Felix replaced my windshield on my Toyota FJ Cruiser in August, 2021. In doing so he removed and replaced the upper fender panels on both driver and passenger sides, which are small 6 by 6 inch square shaped pieces. Both of these pieces along with the radio antennae that proceeds out of the passenger side panel were not securely placed back with the clips that they are supposed to be secured with. I notified Felix of this problem and he came back out and simply glued down one of the panels and replaced the damaged radio antenna connections, but did nothing to the driver side panel. Both panels should have been secured with clips, but he neglected to take care of that properly. Before he could come back out to replace the driver side panel, it actually blew off of the car while driving. Felix agreed to pay for the panel to be replaced but after I paid to have that panel replaced to the tune of $171.37 he has not responded to texts and has not answered my phone calls. The original windshield replacement was done on August 13, 2021. I am writing this review October 19, 2021 and am posting the review October 29. I have extended Felix a lot of time to complete the necessary repairs and to correct the mistakes made. While he did come correct some of the problems, he has neglected to take care of all the damage that was caused. Another thing to note about this repair is that he replaced the panel above my windshield unnecessarily, costing me an additional $150. This was a piece I knew might need to be replaced because other competitors that I called to get quotes from notified me that often it either breaks or the clips break when replacing the windshield. Felix was unaware that this might be an issue until I notified him of it. During the repair, that panel did not break and could have been reattached without needing to be replaced. However, he went ahead and put the new panel on without giving me the option of just using the old one. So in the end, a windshield that should have cost me about $250 to replace, ended up costing me about $570. I have learned a costly lesson about who not to trust when it comes to windshield repair and I hope that this review helps steer others in a better direction. I can't vouch for the other more well known companies that do windshield repair, but I would encourage those options as they are more likely to warranty their work and correct mistakes. read more

My woes started literally leaving the dealership with my 2015 Range Rover Evoque and driving home navigating busy 5 pm traffic, not even 3 miles out and the fuel light comes on. On the highway with my new vehicle and International Motor Productions cannot even give the standard thank you for your purchase - a full tank of gas. Another couple of miles the car's breaks start squeaking, approximately a 1 mile from home ( After a 23-mile drive to collect the vehicle) it starts raining the automatic windscreen wipers turn on and one of the wiper blades is missing! I arrive home with an empty vehicle, squeaking breaks, and a scratched windscreen! For the windscreen, they did assist me but told me there is no issue with the breaks and that they do not squeak. Fast forward to almost exactly 1 month later - My service light comes on after Kirsten had told me the car had just been serviced, a further 2 days later my tire pressure light comes on, I pop into Discount Tire, I ask them to check all my tires and make sure they're all ok. They measured my tires and I was told a maximum of 1 month left of safe tread so now I am in for 2 new front tires. ( Just for reference here, I walked around the car and looked at the measurements and they showed me on the chart what my measurements meant.) I emailed Kirsten explaining what was going on, this email was ignored, 2 weeks later, I sent a follow-up and 2 texts. Email ignored and over text I was told she would look at this but she was so busy and the only person in the office, home life was also very busy! I spoke to John and he came across as less than interested in my issues and told me that Discount Tire just wants to sell me tires ( Even though I saw the measurements and proof.) This kind of service is not what one expects I have never received this kind of service from any dealership, if you are going to nickel and dime your clients on every turn you don't deserve them! One never expects that within 1 month of a new vehicle purchase that this is what you're sold Issues No complimentary Full tank of gas - Even if supposedly you are not allowed to store a vehicle with more than a ¼ tank of fuel. You surely would fill up on the day of collection or let the client know this fact ( A common courtesy, or give them a fuel voucher! ) Missing windscreen blade - Vehicle was not checked before handover Cleaning - this vehicle was not given the once over and readied for collection Breaks squeaking - I was told they are not and there is nothing wrong with them! ( They still squeak ) 2 front tires have less than 1 month's safe tread left The service indicator light has come on - I was told to take it in for an oil change. Suffice to say, I won't be back nor recommend them, an awful experience!

My Crossfire Convertible needed front-end repairs to fix a failed repair done 8 years ago, by another firm. Prestige Collision Repair is a small unassuming shop that provides personal attention, goes way beyond what is asked and delivers the best results. Vadim, the owner personally goes over your car with you and provides an estimate that did not change a penny from what he quoted. In addition to the front-end repair, his team touched up several small dings, recoated some worn out trim with clearcoat, had all four aluminum wheels repaired and refurbished and polished a headlight. Then they cleaned the car and buffed the entire body and my 2006 looks brand new. They did all this at a price that was half of what I had been quoted at a couple of well-known body shops in DFW. They have over a hundred 5-star reviews on Google and other sites, and I saw only one negative review which clearly appeared to me to be posted by a jealous competitor. If you are seeking the best bodywork in DFW at reasonable prices this is the only place for you.
