if I could give Sam and his stag 6 stars I would. I have had a number of Mercedes and currently have an E350. I have had it for a number of years and don't want a newer model because this model has always been the best and most reliable and trouble free. I came to Sam because my check engine light was on and when I accelerated quickly the entire electric system in the would should down!! scary. when I went in he fixed the faulty sensor to the crankshaft and I picked it up. it ran well a couple of days then same thing but even more frequent. I called him to tell him he knew exactly what the issue was at it was a mercedes Benz problem with this year and model. the wiring to the crankshaft. when I returned he fixed it the next day, didn't charge me a dime! and it's been ruNing great ever since. these guys a great! they know their stuff, are more than fair. they truly care about their customers. I will not be taking my car to the dealership for repairs or tuneups any more. I highly recommend this shop! I couldn't say enough good things about Sam and his son running this place! I've brought my BMW 535i here on two occasions now and received dealer level service if not better without the highway robbery prices!!! I actually would recommend going here over the dealer due to the business being family owned and taking great pride in their service to customers. The thing that stands out most to me about this shop is when you drop your car off for a diagnostic they not only accurately figure out the issue, but suggest repairing the issue at risk and not giving you a list of other things they think need repairing. This was something I really appreciated it! It gives you a feel of trust with your mechanic!! Another thing that stood out to me was the fast turn around time. This repair I did was for a water pump, thermostat, oil change, and coolant flush. They turned my car around in 2 days! This repair would have easily costed me $1500+ going through BMW. This shop saved me a tremendous amount of money!!! I could go on and on about how much I like this shop. I drive it home and the engine light came on the following day. I took it back immediately and replaced the MASS AIR FLOW with a new one." With warranty. I brought my Land Rover LR4 to Star Tech. I had issues with a leaking radiator. Fluid would spill out after driving it. So, I had to keep filling it with radiator fluid in order to drive it daily. Called Star Tech, they immediately told me to bring it in. I was not offered an estimate, which most legitimate car repair service places don't. Why provide a quote when the vehicle owner may not be upfront with what they think needs repaired, vs. what actually does. I knew the issue with my vehicle. Star Tech confirmed it, did not try to give me the runaround, gave me a reasonable quote to repair it, and did the job. I was without my vehicle overnight. That's it. They fixed my radiator leak and a bad water pump, and I have had no issues since. Last minute, before picking up my vehicle, I asked for an oil change. Within the hour, after the vehicle issues had been taken care of, the oil change was done. I am not sure how often people can go without their vehicle for a few days or more. Although I didn't communicate with Star Tech that I needed my vehicle repaired asap, they were on point. It didn't matter. They repaired my vehicle to the point I could pick it up the next day, even with a last-minute oil change request. They are truly a gem, and I highly recommend them for your auto repair. This is based solely on my experience, but they have good reviews l, so I went with them. Thank you, guys! They are straightforward, tell you what needs to be repaired, and it's up to the vehicle owner what they want to do. They didn't even charge a fee to diagnose the issue. I am not saying that this is the case in every circumstance. If you have to take a vehicle apart to diagnose a more severe problem, then you should expect to be charged because of the labor involved. Some people can be so self entitled, they complain about this, but it requires some labor to know what's going on with any respective customer's vehicle. Anyway, I am very pleased with the service from Star Tech, and, hopefully not, if any other issue I have with any of my vehicles, I won't hesitate to take them in to Star Tech because I confident in their repair services. The Conversation With This Person Was Recorded & Not Once Did My Voice Raise Nor Was I Rude. After Being Spoken To Like Trash I Explain To Him His Customer Service Is Absolute Bullshit & How Disgusted I Am With The Interaction Experienced & To Speak To Someone More Professional. He Stays On The Phone Doesn't Get Anyone Else Then Proceeds To Ask Me Am I Serious About The Comment I Made On His Customer Service & Tries To Argue With Me Before Apologizing For Being Rude. I Explain No Need To Be Sorry Just Do Better For The Next Person When Their Simply Explaining To You What You Ask Them To Explain. My vehicle with less than 8,000 miles needed new brake pads during my first service maintenance service. I was quoted $2,404 at local Mercedes dealership claiming my brake pads along with my rotors needed to be replaced. I took my vehicle via recommendation to Star Tech to see what they recommend. Samir the owner answered the phone and let me know that they can see it right away. They instantly took the vehicle in and with 7 minutes after asking if it was okay to leave my vehicle there for inspection they immediately identified that all that is wrong with the brakes was that brake pads itself needed to be replaced. They were also shocked that the original brakes had worn out so quickly on my vehicle. They gave me an instant quote that was labor and parts(Mercedes manufacture brakes) that came out little over $400. My vehicle was ready the next day when they told me it would be as they needed to order the brakes from the dealer. In short, outside of the savings they have earned my business moving forward with professionalism, honesty, great work, and price fairness. I initially went to this shop because it was only 2 miles away from the my office but I soon found that it was a reliable shop for my F10 M5. All my experiences have been flawless and the pricing is always reasonable. My trust in their work has even expanded to my track cars that I usually bring into a race shop. Although Sam is not the friendliest mechanic, he is honest with his work and never pushes for extra fixes or changes. I've come in contact with a lot of over promising mechanics that try to sweet talk unnecessary upgrades and I would much rather have a "mean" mechanic over a sleazy one. Worst experience! my car's coolant light was on, but coolant level was fine. I when here and leave my car here for diagnostic. The next day they call me and tell me I need to replace the aux fan assy and the coolant pumps for the turbo, which is $2200 total including labor. I thought it was really expensive, so I went to another auto repair shop for diagnostic, and they fix my car for free (only charge $150 for diagnostic), they said it was just a minor problem with the wire. Now my car is running fine. Don't ever go to this place ! ! ! read more
