Between the four of us, we ordered three drinks: milk tea boba, taro milk with salted cream, and a Vietnamese coffee. Descriptions of the milk teas included sweet, salty, good, and pleasant. Extremely low quality tea and tapioca boba seems to be instant. Boba was very sticky, clogged my straw. The jasmine tea had no jasmine flavor or scent. The only reason I didn't give one star was the girl serving was nice and did her job well. read more

Their menu is pretty confusing - there would be drinks that have toppings "included", which one would assume that the price you see is the flat rate for that drink with the toppings included. But if you order the drink by name, they add additional costs per topping, if that makes sense. Why not just take off the toppings "included" in the name? I ordered the Starboba milk tea today and it was very lackluster. It tasted really watered down and the boba was bland and super clumpy. On top of that, the drink was over $8 after tax. I asked for a brown sugar milk tea which is typically made with tapioca milk tea. The "tapioca milk tea" they use tastes like pure milk. I asked for a switch out or remake because the taste was off and they said it was the right order and wouldn't switch it out. Tapioca milk tea recipe needs to be changed asap! read more

They didn't have boba yet so the girl offered taro boba...which we got crunchy jelly in our drinks, what is that?! Definitely not boba lol Was charged extra for the non dairy powder and the "taro boba"..so nearly $9 for each drink and they weren't even larges just a regular size. Unreal. The Black Milk Tea taste is as expected and on par with any other serious tea place. The Jasmine milk tea was not as expected. It's taste was more similar to a black tea than jasmine and had a nutty taste which isn't bad if you like Hojicha tea. The Crystal boba was good. Despite arriving around noon, the boba was either overcooked or sat from the day prior. The outside was already melted and smooshy; the inside didn't have any bounce to it. If I was in the area, I'd come back but I'd try something different; I wouldn't drive a long distance. The interior is well thought out with a good amount of seating. We were excited to try this "new to us" boba spot and were 100% disappointed. Service was excruciatingly slow- 45 min for 4 drinks? Customer service was virtually non existent. Taste was mediocre- "fresh fruit" smoothie tasted as if it were all milk tea powder, large chunks of ice left in the smoothie, and boba stuck together with some partially cooked textures. With a price point like theirs, you should expect a quality boba experience. Uncomfortable service experience, "expensive for the quality you get" drinks... not a place we'll go back to. read more

I've had this place 3 times! The first time I was sold! Amazing boba!! The second time I paid $9 for one drink and it wasn't filled all the way and I was very upset. The third AND LAST TIME! I get a long thick piece of hair coming out of my drink, and it was the weirdest yet grossest feeling ever to have it come out with tapioca balls as well !!!! Charged me for a topping even though it was included on the drink mango. I ordered a mango green tea with cheese cream but they charged me for a mango tea $4.95 plus $.95 for salted cream. The staff was mean and unhelpful. Then when I asked for another drink, they first didn't know it... which is weird because it was posted by the business owner. I've only had their banh mi sandwiches that sit at the deli section of B&A International Foods grocery store on Portland Ave. Overall, I think it's pretty good (or was I just really hungry?) and a quick grab to go when you're hungry but their sandwiches are kind of deceiving. I'd rate -5 if I could. This place is terrible. I bought a latte with almond milk. First it was almost $8, and it tasted like watered down espresso with lukewarm milk. I asked them to make it hotter, and they added hot water!! It tastes even worse now. On top of that, their cup and lid don't stay on (I think the cup is too cheap and soft). While I was drinking it, the lid popped off and cup basically collapsed. It made me spill latte all over the center console of my car (luckily the damage wasn't worse) and also my pants. I went back to the store to complain about the cup and lid. They gave me the number for one of the owners (I won't name here, but it was a young female owner). I called this owner to talk about the situation and discuss how they plan to compensate for it. The owner said they'd call me back, hung up, and never called me back. I tried to call them a few times, only with my calls going straight to voicemails. Terrible ownership of their business and what happens at their own store. If you want to own a business, you'd better own up everything about your business including incidents like this! I'd stay far away from this place (there are a few other coffee shops nearby).
