Holy crap! I love buttery bread! Tiny little pockets of joy. Priced very well. We should have got more but we thought they were larger.

Super yum!! On the way up to Napa, we knew there was a Starbread in Vallejo so we made it a point to stop by to get some Senorita Bread... and I am so glad we did... they were SOOOOOO good. Fresh right out of the oven piping hot and it melts in your mouth! We got a box of 20 for $8 and it was a good snack in between wineries after all those tastings! We also had some left over and just had to nuke them for like 10 seconds and they were as good as new the next day. read more

Came here once and got the Senorita Bread that they are famous for. I thought the price was excellent and the flavor good. Personally I am not overwhelmed by them like so many others seem to be, but they are ok. It was a hot day and I was alarmed that there didn't seem to be any a/c inside. Makes me wonder how well the packaged items keep in there? I guess I'm more of a European bakery fan, though my pocket book wishes I weren't. read more

My co-worker brought in a giant box of these yummy lil crack goodies to work today and damn....they are freaken delicious!!!!! This place is famous for its SENORITA BREAD!!! its small little bite size breads that filled with butter and cream! It's amazingly delicious! The area is pretty ghetto. The interior brings me back to the bakeries in the Philippines. Where you would wake up on Sunday morning to go to the bakery for your fresh made padesal. The customer service is excellent! They were very personable and kind. They were also extremely fast!! I got a 30 piece senorita bread for only 12 bucks!!! It came very fresh and HOT!! This bread inspires me so much, I'm writing this review the night right before my final! After my first bite of señorita bread a few weeks ago, I kept thinking about it. It's buttery, soft, warm center...how it always seems to be fresh out of the oven...it's pretty much the best thing ever. I swear it's so good I'm pretty sure they melt a stick of butter down the center! To top it all off, it's VERY affordable! 5 for $2?! You really can't beat that. I only buy a small amount at a time because I don't think I could stop myself if I bought any more than that. I've only tried the signature seniorita bread, but you bet I'll be going back for more! If they can make these little loaves taste like heaven, I can't wait to see what they can do with a donut or some of their other pastries! These little carb morsels are so addicting!! When they are nice and piping hot from the oven you could just taste the butter, sticky sweet stuff (what could it be?! Caramelized sugar, honey maybe??) and all that goodness that comes from their popular item, the señorita bread. Oh my gosh, watch out, these things are ADDICTING! Whenever I go here I end up getting a box and running to my car and stuffing my face with at least 5 senorita's in a row! They are best to eat immediately when they're soft and full of buttery sugary yumminess! They definitely have that salty/sweet thing going on. When they cool down and you want them later in the day, just pop them in the microwave for 15-30 seconds and they're just as good! They're best the day of, the next day they tend to get a little harder and stale. Try the Cream Cheese Bitso, it's like a filled donut rolled in sugar. Cheap, and delicious! First time having SENIORITA BREAD! Mannnn , have I been missing out. Cousin took me here & there was a line but only 2 people in front of us. They had multiple signs everywhere, "don't do this" "do this first" "have your order & your money ready" "on your cell phone? next in line" All in sheet protectors & taped everywhere, it pretty much covered the cashier counter. The shop itself is small so the line could easily go out the door. While waiting in line you can browse the other baked goods they have to offer but we all know you're there for the Seniorita Bread ;) The cashier looked mean but ended up being super nice :) I will definitely be back for Seniorita Bread! At first glance, I really had no idea what these little things were. It was kind of like a cross between a dinner roll and a pig in a blanket (sans pig). But oh boy, once I tasted these things fresh, I went nuts. The senorita bread is a light and fluffy pastry, with a perfectly sweet glaze. These little suckers taste good no matter what. I may be biased being a Vallejo native, but this Starbread in Vallejo blows all the others, out of the water! Childhood memories with the infamous pink box filled with Senorita Bread every weekend on the dining table. Wrap them with cheese at home before reheating them in the microwave, or add a little extra butter for an extra kick. They're steamy, with as a decadent layered roll of sweet goodness. Pull it apart to reveal the flakey layers. Not to mention that crispy bottom layer of caramelized sugar. Mouth is salivating... now. Based on most of the reviews listed for Starbread, Yelpers are rating the senorita bread five stars. Does that mean that the bakery itself is a five-star joint? Not necessarily. I've been to Starbread several times - often in the late afternoons before closing time--and everyone stood in line exclusively for boxes of senorita bread. The small, sweet rolls are literally this bakery's bread and butter. Starbread does it right and serves them up warm and fresh; upon placing your order, the counter lady retreats to the rear of the bakery and surfaces with a box filled with the sweet, soft, buttery rolls, supremely made for immediate consumption. Since I've only tried the senorita bread, I can't vouch for the rest of the baked goods - ensaymadas, empanadas, turons, and other traditional Filipino pastries, all lined up on the counter, mediocre-looking and neglected. I would describe Senorita bread like mini, doughy rolls that have sugar and butter. You can get a handful for $2 in a bag, or even upgrade to a huge box of 50 for $20. They have every type of size to fit your needs/wants/dreams. They're best served hot and fresh from the store while you're driving to your next destination, if you can even wait that long! If you're passing Vallejo, it's really worth getting off the exit and giving it a try.
