The parking at this Starbucks is decent as it is in the Waimalu shopping center. For those of you interested, there is no shaded parking. It's a Sunday morning and it's a lot busier than I expected it to be for some reason. It wasn't challenging to find a table to work on; however, finding a table to work on that is accessible to an outlet is. If you want a seat close to an outlet, I suggest you get here early. Bathroom is clean and requires a code, however it's a single person stall so be prepared for a possible wait depending on the time. If you're the type of person that gets distracted easily I would say Starbucks is not the place to study, or make sure you bring your noise canceling headphones. The staff here is friendly and the girl with the blue hair was particularly helpful in recommending a new drink for me to try, albeit it is their newest drink so I'm sure there's a lot of push to promote it. If you do t like your coffee overloaded with sugary sweetness, I'd recommend the new coconut milk mocha macchiato! It's yummy! I ordered a multigrain bagel with cream cheese to get the brain going which was good. I am picky about how I like my bread products toasted though. This place is more like a high school cafeteria filled with adults instead of high schoolers. The high schoolers who chill here are probably less loud than the adults that roam here. Great baristas though, they are friendly and makes their drinks with love. There are so many wall electrical outlet. Great study area and music. But don't forget your headphones. read more

This location gets 5 stars for the spacious store and multiple oversized comfy chairs and couches throughout. Usually, you'll find a few arm chairs in any SBs but due to the expansive space, they have a lot more seating. Crashed here today to catch up on work while enjoying a hot americano prepped by a personable barista. An added bonus is that it's in a shopping center w/a Office Depot, Subway, City Mill, Safeway and other stores all sharing the same parking lot. So, in case you needed a highlighter, sandwich, extension cord, & milk, you could handle it all with a quick walk. read more

I really enjoy this store, for a whole I was going to Pearlridge. ..but after a friend suggested this store, this is my place, I love that the staff know my name... and if I had the same drink everytime, they'd probably know my drink. The ladies and guys at this Starbucks have always been so kind and always ask how your days going. The barista make the drink perfectly every time. The parking can be a bit challenging when they are busy. The Starbucks app is a awesome. Just order in advance, show up at the store and your drink is waiting for you at the drink pickup area! First and last time I'm going to this location.. workers on Saturday morning 11/30/19 was very distracted and unorganized. Went in to get our usual drink at SB but instead got the wrong drink plus made me wait 6mins maybe more for a cup of ice .. just because they were to busy catching up with there former coworker. I don't mind them chatting but atleast check and get the orders correct. Next time don't offer to correct the drink if you're only going to correct it 50% out of a 100%.... by the way I order 2 venti ICED CARAMEL MACCHIATO & 1 tall raspberry black tea. But I got 1 hot /1 iced caramel macchiato & the tall raspberry black tea .... and then I asked for a cup of iced since they were to busy to notice they only corrected one of the drink and still I got a complain and sense annoyance from the barista‍ ... wow !!!! just wow.... what a morning ... I have recently been busy with working full time and school full time, annnnd having a very patient wife that has been watching the kiddos more with me having to go to Starbucks to escape distractions to get all of my homework done. Convenient location and open early at 4:30AM! Workers here are very friendly and efficient. I always get americanos, which are consistently made well. At 430/5AM it is generally pretty empty, but they can get pretty busy later in the morning. The store is always well maintained and clean. It is a larger sized Starbucks, which is good for studying or just hanging out! :) read more

First of all how can u guys ran out of soy milk u guys are a big box store so u supposed to have e so people like me who are lactose intolerant can have something to drink first I went on Easter Sunday I guys still have some then I went on April 11 to be the exact date and the cashier told me that u ran out so I told him that I will have almond milk but it tasted good but I prefer regular soy milk because I don't like almond milk so every time I walk into the store u guys should have soy milk so people like me who are lactose intolerant they don't have to look somewhere else to get my milk because that will be bad if u lose customers oh yeah and the second thing my sister ordered a venti iced coffee with almond milk she said it tasted like tea ok I guys are barista and you should know how to make good coffee so all I need is to make sure u have soy milk all the time and second is to make people drink correctly read more

Waited exactly half an hour for a sandwich I ordered that they didn't have, with no one communicating any information at any point. Went up on my own to see what was going on, then had to pay for a more expensive replacement. The last time this exact situation happened at the Pearlridge location, they replaced the sandwich with an equivalent and provided a $5 gift card for the trouble. I don't usually write reviews but I'm in retail management. ..and this particular Starbucks creates such a warm and inviting atmosphere. I've made this my morning routine for a few years now. I get my caffeine fix before work and I'm on my way. Every single associate smiles and takes time to get to know me. They also always seem to enjoy thier jobs and thier peers. I'm in the business of recruiting talent with customer service in mind. ..but never tried to recruit from this location for 2 reasons : 1. I wouldn't want to take any of my favorites away from my morning routine. 2. They all seem to genuinely enjoy their jobs. read more

I love this Starbucks location!!! I always have a good experience here. They have the best staff ever. They're super friendly and two of them even know me by name. That's impressive because I don't really come here too much. Maybe twice every two weeks. The service is always fast and efficient. This location is busy, but they pump out the drinks quickly. Parking/Location: This place shares the parking lot with the Waimalu shopping center plaza, usually there's an abundance of parking. The location is very convenient because it's right next to the freeway on ramp and off ramp. Atmosphere: This Starbucks is a chill spot and is large enough to have small meetings. Lots of tables and chairs are available. They also have chairs and tables along the perimeter of the store if you want a dose of fresh air. They don't open really late like other SBs, but they usually close around the same time as the other shops. This place can get very loud for there are a lot of surfaces that bounce the sound around, or a lot of traffic noises if you do choose to sit outside. The music they play is relaxing and sometimes up beat, exactly how a coffee shop should be. I haven't had a problem with the way they make coffee, tea or specialty drinks. They've done a good job at this location to keep their drinks consistently on par. Starbucks isn't the best tasting coffee, but it is more of a convenient aspect-- they've definitely done a great job with that. The staff are friendly and do make an effort to brighten your day! Every so often they will pass out new menu samples of coffee or sweet treats. This Starbucks has gone through several makeovers over the years, the newish decor and lights set a homey/commercialized feel to the place. Starbucks did shorten their coffee grinders to keep interaction and eye level contact with customers (very good move). If there is a line, it usually shortens in a reasonable amount of time. Ultimately, would I come back? Yes. Good place to study, hold meetings, and relax. read more

This is by far the best Starbucks on Oahu. Every one of the employees ALWAYS has a smile on their face and make it a point to welcome you in. I have NEVER had a bad experience here. The coffee here is always hot and made well, other Starbucks sometimes leave the regular coffee out all day, but whenever I come here it's always fresh. As I like to drink hot coffee even if it hot outside it seems other locations maybe don't have the same kind of customers as I do. read more

Nice crusty bread outside and warm juicy (olive oil from pesto) inside. Bread was some sort of focaccia type, turkey, cheese, tomato and the pesto. Advice: check your teeth after you eat. read more

GREEN LIGHT GO! I love the staff here. They are quick to greet you and smile the instant you meet their eyes! They are always so helpful and get your drinks ready in a flash. The other thing that I like about the staff is how knowledgeable they are about their drinks! I gave up coffee for a while but still was craving a delicious drink! They recommended the earl grey latte ! It was delicious. I definitely recommend getting a STARBUCKS ACCOUNT. They will send you a free drink on your birthday and if you get 12 drinks you can get FREE FOOD or drink. Starbucks USED TO give free flavoring and soy milk if you had a registered card... no longer. such a bummer!! Even still try their refreshers I love BOTH flavors and their iced coffees. Probably one of my favorite locations...okay, maybe the ONLY location I love. Located in the Waimalu Plaza shopping center. I come here to study all of the time! I love it here cause it's huge, there's a lot of tables which are spaced out from each other so you can breathe lol. Outside seating is also available. Reasonable amount of outlets. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Bathroom is well taken care of, it has a code so you can ask your barista. Atmosphere is great..good music too..Zero complaints. I usually go to this location for starbucks, the people work here are so nice and friendly, they always greet all the customers as soon as we open the door in even though there was lines and busy morning, their eyes always look out to the door while doing their job and say hi when customers come in. They try to remember every customers name, which is cool, it makes me feel welcomed and like family...I also remember my drink...They are usually so busy in the morning, so i would have to wait about 5 min for my drink but i don't really mind because it could make my day from seeing them being so friendly with smiles on their face, so much energy. i used to come every morning but i stopped for awhile and then i come once in awhile again but they still remember me, it makes me happy. read more

I prefer regular coffee - not expresso drinks with a lot of sugar & flavors. And hot morning coffee - I prefer to make my own. But I do like Starbucks for iced coffee. It's double brewed and not poured hot over ice so it's still good and strong. I go to this location occasionally in the afternoon for an iced coffee. I Visited this on a Sat AM because I had no milk at home and it was packed but I got my coffee super fast. The staff was so well organized and coordinated - one person took orders, one person worked cashier, one person shifted between cashier and barrista, and one person was full barista. They really paid attention to the customers and incoming orders so that they could get people in and out quickly. I have been to the Starbucks in Mililani shopping center and they were terrible every time - They have two people taking orders until they pile up and then the barista gets slammed - no one helps the barista so customers wait and wait and wait.
