I didn't appreciate having to shout out my order on the intercom and I said three times I needed oat milk in my drink because I cannot do dairy so I said oat milk and I had a funny feeling when I went to the window, it wouldn't be right because the girl just kept saying OK OK without repeating my order and sure enough they made it with whole milk and not oat milk so I told them that and immediately the woman said rudely "next time, specify oat milk so she can make it rightand she put it on me. Did not appreciate that at all. I thought she was rude and girl that was on the intercom sarcastically said sorry to me and they made my drink and sure enough it was wrong still as they did not put the syrup in it, but I'm not going back there that's for sure read more

i have starbucks coffee every day for years while i read the news, etc in the store. The new layout makes it almost impossible. High Top tables with low chairs, power outlets lost or unreachable, can't sit at the bar, even the long table is at the wrong height. Whoever designed this does not like Starbucks read more

Been in here a bunch within the last year to meet for a small Bible study group. My usual is just a hot chocolate. The peppermint one is REALLY good and is worth waiting for when the holiday season comes back around. The normal one is good as well. The white chocolate one is a bit different. I ordered through door dash and my coffee took 30 minutes to MAKE. The dasher was in the store and confirmed that they were not making the coffee until 9:15. Order placed at 8:40 and didn't arrive until 9:25. Completely unacceptable. I don't blame the dasher at all because they were very communicative and included pictures in their messages proving they were in the store and waiting!! read more

Terrible experience today! I can definitely see why this location has such poor reviews. I went inside and not only do they prioritize drive-through orders, they don't make inside orders first in, first out. There were people that ordered after me that received their orders before me. I politely asked if they could please make mine as I placed my order first.. At that point a large, male customer started harassing me and telling me to shut my mouth and I'll get my order when I get it. When I politely told him it's not his concern, he started swearing at me and making racial slurs. I started to defend myself very loudly, and when a male worker noticed this, he told ME to calm down.. When I told him I'm being harassed by a grown man behind me, the worker stated "Well, all I heard was yelling and I'm trying to calm the situation". It was incredibly disappointing to see a male worker defending a male customer harassing a young woman at their store. They should've immediately kicked out the male customer for swearing at, harassing, and throwing racial slurs at another customer, NOT tell the victim to calm down. read more

The place is AMAZING! I would never expect that they got perfect espresso that doesn't exaggerate its taste too much. The balanced of its bitterness and sweetness is phenomenal. I truly appreciate the craftsmanship behind the people that made this coffee into reality. They do not only serve coffee but different beverages like blended cream beverages frappuccino, hot chocolate, and tea latte. I always love eating my early breakfast in Starbucks because the food is delicious. You would never expect to eat such a classy and tasty treat in Starbucks. Wow I love this Starbucks. It's brand new and absolute beautiful inside. Starbucks has stepped up their decor game from the tile and beautiful wood work to the textured wall paper it's makes it feel like a cozy place to chill. It has a very hipster feel like one of those chic city coffee shops. There is a wooden wall with what looks like a huge carving of the Starbucks symbol its eye catching for sure. There are lots of tables with wooden chairs to sit enjoy coffee while working on your computer or studying. The flow of this place is just awesome and I think it's the beautiful huge counter top where you order that makes this place one of a kind and very welcoming. This place has very clean lines for sure. This Starbucks is in a strip mall area with other shops so the parking is not an issue. The drive thru is very fast and efficient and the staff is so friendly. But I recommend checking out the inside if you can. read more

Early morning at this Starbucks. A huge line of cars outside and 4 staff members. A customer walked in and spilled the drink she was picking up. She asked for a rag to clean it up - everyone was too, too busy. So she wiped off the counter. The drink is all over the floor. She and I asked if they could mop it up - sure was the response. An hour later, it was still on the floor. Safety, people!! Someone already slipped in it. No response from the team They were 'too busy' - yes, that's what they said. I left at 7:30 a.m. - an hour and a half later. They had still not cleaned it up. Starbucks, we know you're 'busy.' But...wtf??? read more

This review is a composite of multiple visits thus represents an overall impression. Consistency is problematic with this location where in the worst case I was handed a (hot) mocha with the lid improperly attached. Once inside my car the lid popped off causing the drink to spill all over myself and the car's interior burning me and creating a huge mess! Otherwise the mochas I have ordered range from little to no chocolate or far too much. All said this location is very popular with long lines where the patrons as of late have become for the lack of better words nasty. In the past week I was threatened by another driver who was attempting to squeeze inline. My sense is while popularity is a factor, this location's ability to move traffic through the drive-up line is poor. My solution? The Buffalo Grove location has none of these issues. read more

Almost everything about this new Starbucks is 5 stars. Except that it looks and feels like the designers tried to make it as cold and unappealing as possible. Lots of hard surfaces, grey and black painted walls and ceilings and uncomfortable seating. Lots of hard retro school classroom style seating to choose from. Noisy if more than a dozen customers. It's almost as if it's designed to prevent customers from staying too long. read more

The customer service here is literally trash. They are so rude. I've been getting the same drink for YEARS, and some of the workers (not all) make it wrong and it has happened to me a number of times. However, when i tell them this is wrong or doesn't taste right they deny and give me so much attitude. Everyone makes mistakes but at least have the decency to admit it when you're wrong. We all know Starbucks isn't cheap, and all i'm asking for is my money's worth. (This is the one on Rand Rd). I've never had issues at any other Starbucks locations. read more

Went to this location today at 6:15. I know that's not a prime coffee drinking time of day but hey, this is a coffee shop. Ordered through the app to save time. Simple order, a tall Pikes Peak. Pick up went smoothly. I got there less than 2 minutes after ordering. Drive away and realize the coffee is luke warm. Don't they check these things? Wouldn't you notice no steam coming off the coffee as it was poured? I know they're supposed to brew often, and this coffee was obviously sitting for quite some time. Drive back thru and the guy at the window seems so confused with my issue. He finally says "so you say you want it hot??", still looking confused at my issue. I sarcastically reply, well it IS black coffee, and coffee is usually served hot. Had to pull out of line and literally wait for a new pot to be brewed. Huge time waste. Should've been comped at that point or given me a drink card. If you do nothing else right as a coffee shop, keeping hot brewed coffee on hand should be priority #1! read more

i rate this starbucks a 5 out 5 because whenever i go through the drive through they are very friendly. i usually stop in there in the morning to get a daily refresher. they are the fastest starbucks by far and the service is great. they also take there time to make the drinks so it's not rushed and tastes bad unlike other starbucks. great service keep it up! read more
