SF Annihilator and SF Double Rainbro Sparkling Soda
    Natalie G.

Every time I'm in the west coast I love this place. I'm soo glad they opened another location here! I was a little confused in how to get to the drive thru (too many cones and I was like where is the entrance? Lol) buttttt I made it! I ordered the SF annihilator and SF double rainbro sparkling soda. The coffee tasted really good! Creamy, slightly sweet/nutty flavor and you can taste the espresso. The sparkling soda has a bubbly/refreshing taste with the fruity flavor. Everyone was super friendly! I went close to 10am and I only waited about 10mins in the drive thru. They only opened I believe only a few weeks ago at the end of July. I feel like they were efficient. I liked how the one taking my order told me I'll be directly behind this car for my pick up order when we merge. That was very helpful and makes things run smoothly. I wish I knew the girls names bc she was super awesome. I'll be back :).

I was so happy when I heard they were opening a Dutch in Illinois. It's been a long time fav when I'm on the west coast. Went through the drive thru. It was a little busy but still worth the wait. I ordered my usual and got the electric berry blended rebel. It came out a little lighter than usual but still tasted like how I remembered.

First of all let me apologize for my months-long absence. I've been going through some help issues. But this review absolutely had to happen! I have been waiting for Dutch Brothers for close to a decade! Let me tell you it was worth the wait! Not only did I get a free drink when I downloaded the app, which is good for 2 weeks by the way. They also happened to be running a deal today until 9:00 p.m. so if you see this before then, head to Buffalo Grove or Melrose Park or any location near you. The deal was four medium drinks for $16. You cannot beat that and you can choose anything. You'll see in the pictures what we chose, but we chose an iced Americano with cream, and iced Caramelizer, a blended Campfire Freeze, and a blended Picture Perfect Freeze. As you'll also see in the pictures they took time to put a message on each and label each drink. Attention to detail that I've never seen anywhere else. They were fully staffed with I would say close to 10 people behind the bar and managing it all flawlessly. The inside itself is superbly clean and the wall art is fun and colorful. It would be very easy to sit and spend some time there. They have benches and chairs and the inside is roomier than it would appear. The bathrooms were exquisitely clean as well. The staff was incredibly friendly and I will most certainly be going back, probably before the week is out! Do not skip them, especially if you're a coffee fan. I will say though that they have something for everybody. Make sure you ask for a pocket menu to keep with you!

The latte was the star for me . No nasty aftertaste and I felt like I was actually drinking coffee . Service was friendly and they were grateful I waited in line . My son also got a strawberry smoothie but only took a few sips . The chai was too sweet so I'll def stick to the coffee

I'd like to give this place a better review, but having visited a number of area coffee shops and…read morecafes, I can't in good conscious rate them as well. There is a free parking lot with plenty of parking and I found a spot right away on an early Sunday morning. It's very bright and feels more like a retail store atmosphere than a cafe. There were only three tables and a counter running along the back wall. It was easy for two of us to just sit at a table for a while, but as more people came in, we felt guilty taking a table as we just sipped coffee and chatted. They definitely have some kinks to work out and they've only been open for a few months, and they need to train their staff better as they clearly don't understand how to serve with any type speed. They don't do traditional here. You can't just get coffee and a Danish or other typical bakery item. You can't even get toast with butter despite them offering many toast options with toppings. Here's a tip: offer toast with butter or a spread. You'll get a lot more sales with some items that are not super filling. I opted for a hot mocha coffee with an extra pump of chocolate and a crepe. Again, you can't just get plain crepes. They are homemade and should be offered plain, but I digress. I got the Hangover crepe. According to their website, this is the description of The Hangover Crepe: "Start your day right with our delicious breakfast items like bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and cheddar cheese, served till 11 AM. Afterward, enjoy a refreshing acai bowl or pair your breakfast with a cappuccino or a chai tea latte. Don't forget to try our matcha latte for a unique twist at our coffee shop in Buffalo Grove!" Look, I just do marketing for a living, so don't sell me on what you have before and after 11am. Just tell me what you get with this specific crepe. And that's bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, and cheese. The scrambled eggs are some of the best fluffy and dry eggs you can get anywhere. They were perfect. The hash browns were in patty form and were perfect for this dish. They serve it as a handheld, but it definitely needs a knife and fork, which you collect at the counter. You have to ask for salt and pepper or a sauce if you want. The savoryness of the items mixed with the sweetness of the crepe was a great combo. It was very tasty. But it took them quite a while to make the crepe. I was mostly finished with by hot mocha which I could have topped off for an additional fee. My compatriot wanted plain toast with butter. Mind you they have six (6) different toast offerings with all sorts of toppings. You can get your toast item made with sourdough, multigrain, white, or gluten-free. However, you can't get plain toast. And just as a side Q&A: when you order toast anywhere else, how many pieces do you typically receive? If you answered two (2) pieces/slices, you'd be correct. Irene's gave him one slice. They first toasted it and burned it badly. They make toast items. How do you screw up toast if you routinely make toast? Then they finally brought out the one slice and asked if he wanted butter. He did, so they took the toast to the kitchen and put two dabs of butter on his toast. But then they didn't give him a knife to spread it, so he used the crust of the bread to spread it on the slice. Like I stated, kinks need to be worked out. While we were there, the owner's family came in and took up two of the tables. Now all three tables were taken. And older couple came in and had to side at the counter height stools along the wall. The food was tasty, the drinks were good. Both are pricey for what they are. And they are seriously lacking seating. It would be nice to see them last in Buffalo Grove, but they need to fix the seating issue (maybe smaller rectangular tables instead of round ones?), and get things out of the kitchen faster, and drinks made more quickly to have more staying power. Oh, and have your family not come all together and take up all your tables.

This is a clean, healthy option for breakfast and coffee! For food options, they have crepes,…read moresandwiches, smoothies, and acai bowls. There are a couple tables if you want to linger, but it's a small space overall. The servers are friendly and accommodating. I had the vegetable crepe and dragon fruit acai bowl, and both were delicious. The crepe itself is really light. The prices are on the higher end for the portion sizes.

One of my favorite things in the world is Taro so getting a Taro freeze with boba and clear jelly sounds like heaven to me. This is exactly what I got and it was delicious! It wasn't too cold and while there was boba, it didn't overpower the drink itself and neither did the jelly. As expected, this place is overpowered by little youngins with a sweet tooth but I can't blame them. It's not like they made the wait any more longer or shorter. The customer service was good and quick, nothing to complain about. I will continue to come here when I have a boba itch. I've also tried their bingsu which was also really good but....alot. It's packed with red beans which are sweet and delicious, ice cream and fresh fruit. I know for a fact, I cannot finish it on my own so I suggest sharing it with someone else. Other than that, it is certainly a delectable and yummy dessert. Highly recommend. Overall, I will continue to keep coming back here for you Lincolnshire/BG locals, I would encourage you to do the same. Prices are decent and your sweet tooth will be satisfied for sure!

My go tos are banana coconut with mango jelly or just plain avocado. They do have tons of great options but. I find myself gravitating towards those most frequently. The staff is always super friendly, and the service is quick. Even when they have a large group or the shop is crowded you can count on them to have your drink up super quick.

Finally, Long Grove has a place where you can enjoy a truly delicious breakfast on a Monday!…read more We visited Fluffy Bunny this week and absolutely loved it. The food tastes homemade and prepared with so much care and love. My daughter completely fell in love with the syrniki -- they were honestly some of the best we've had. I also tried the pumpkin soup, which instantly became my favorite. My husband ordered the Nordic omelet, and when my husband compliments food, trust me, that's the highest praise possible! One of the biggest highlights for us is the amazing play area for kids. Anyone who has breakfast with young children knows that once they're done eating, they want to run and play. Here, kids have a beautiful playroom where they can have fun while parents can actually relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. Another thing we really appreciated was the wonderful staff. The girls who served us were incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was especially helpful that they spoke both English and Russian. My daughter doesn't speak much English yet, and my husband doesn't speak Russian, so having staff who could communicate with both of them made us feel even more comfortable and welcome. And a special thank you to the owners for being open on Mondays! So many places in Long Grove are closed at the beginning of the week, and it's such a treat to have somewhere cozy to enjoy a great breakfast. Highly recommend Fluffy Bunny to anyone looking for delicious food, great coffee, a family-friendly atmosphere, and a place that genuinely makes you feel at home.

While we were there, an Xfinity guy showed up and said he had a service appointment, but he also couldn't reach anyone there. So maybe a new business is about to move in? We'll keep an eye out!
