I visit this location mostly when I am on my way to the local Public Broadcasting station to volunteer. It is on the way and super convenient to run in and get coffee. I'm usually in need for my shift (it will either be at 6am or quite long). I am a creature of habit when it comes to Starbucks. I get the exact same drink (hot or cold) 9 months of the year - Grande Non-Fat Caramel Macchiato. The most important part of this drink to me is the skim milk. I am not a fan of milkfat - needless calories and I don't like the taste. At most locations, I have to watch carefully to make sure they grab the right jug of milk - not here. They are quite diligent. The drink is always made to perfection and I usually don't have to wait long at all - no matter how full the location seems to be. It is one of the smaller Starbucks, so there is not a ton of space to sit and work. The one issue I have is that I always bring my own mug and they often forget to give me my cup discount. When I do remind them (I know what the cost of my drink should be), they are always apologetic and fix it immediately. The baristas are friendly and efficient. I'll continue to visit this location as not all Starbucks are created equal. read more

Trash! I got a pumpkin cream cold brew and they did not give me a venti as I requested. I told her that I ordered a venti and she had an attitude. She put it in a bigger cup and gave me more cream instead of more coffee. She gave Starbucks a bad name. Terrible customer service! read more

I almost always feel like I need to keep my arms pinned to my sides when I come to this location. It is consistently crowded. Probably due to its proximity to the Home Depot and Target as well as the major ATL highways. I give the baristas credit - they typically keep things moving, taking orders down the line before customers reach the register. I can usually get in and out in about 5 minutes or less. Looking to find a cozy table for resting while you enjoy your fresh espresso concoction goodness? You are not likely to have success at this bustling joint. The few times that I have been in here, I've felt rushed. Even on a lazy Saturday afternoon. There are maybe 8 small tables available, and they have been full 4 out of the 5 times that I have stopped in. There has always been a line when I've come in, and it wraps around a dark corner by the bathroom in this cramped store with minimal floor space. My feelings are pretty neutral on this particular Starbs. I know I'll get my beverage in a relatively timely fashion, but with minimal elbow room. The atmosphere here is not conducive to relaxation. I am not inclined to spend more time here than is needed to order, pay, fancy up my coffee, and get out. read more

Being downtown and a busy location, you will find these people are on their game to got you in and out quickly. The place is clean, so no worry with all the foot traffic. The only downside is there is never enough space to sit down. read more

Slowest Starbucks...ever. I ran in one afternoon for a quick..*quick* stop before running errands. I was the only person in line. There were 4 baristas in the back. Number one: took my food and drink order went to get my food, number two: cleaning floors (which is a good thing, cleanliness is good!), number three: disappeared to the back, after giving number one my cup to make the drink, that number one actually wrote on, number four: not quite sure what they were doing. My food came...then number four decides to finally make my drink. It took about 5 minutes..mind you I was only getting a tea. No need to steam milk, watch out for foam or hot surfaces. A tea...that may require a bit of shaking..but not 5 minutes worth. Do you know how long 5 minutes is? No seriously..wait 5 minutes until you read the next paragraph.... ...see? In the mornings I try to go there thinking I'll have enough time, I made that mistake once, and have gone in and out the second time (without making a purchase). The line gets so long, and I don't believe the staff can handle making the different beverages at a decent amount of time. Only visit this Starbucks if you're in a leisurely mood (like the baristas) and not in a rush and looking to relax. Too bad the service sucks because it's a great location living nearby! This is probably the best Starbucks I have ever frequented--and this coming from a serious Starbs-lover. The staff is friendly, efficient, and make great drinks. One of the beauties of Starbucks is the comfort in knowing what to expect. These guys (and ladies) uphold that consistent excellence, which is much appreciated. great & personalized customer service we came in, were greeted by #chris #awesome. he treated us with a smile, checked on us, thanked us for tipping him, and when we asked if the coffee was fresh, he knew with precise timing how long ago the coffee was brewed, and advised us when the next batch was going to brew, so we waited (yeah, we are particular about our coffee) then i asked for a double shot hazelnut latte and he called out a grande quadshot hazelnut latte, that right there shows some ownership of his product... overall experience was amazing, ive been to this starbucks many times, but #chris made it 10 times better. thanks read more

Everybody knows what the atmosphere and food/beverage fare at Starbucks is, so I'll skip all of what you already know and talk about service... While some Starbucks locations don't handle crowds well, this Lindbergh location knows how to moved a line along without seeming rude or missing a beat. I visited on a busy Saturday morning in the midst of crazy holiday shopping crowds- the line was out the door and people seemed to be approaching from all sides. That being said, the line never seemed to stop moving, the employees were quick on their feet and called a new name every few seconds. The gentleman taking orders at the register was smiley, polite and repeated everything back to customers to ensure the orders were correct. The folks on the line were stellar! Let me explain with a story: As I was waiting for my drink (not long), I witnessed a woman, whose name had just been called, take her coffee then ask the barista (or whatever the male version of that is) if he could please make her a Peppermint Hot Cocoa ("I forgot to order it, but I'm in a hurry and I don't want to get back in line. I'll give you my credit card here...") If I had been in the barista's shoes, I would've scoffed at the insolence of the request and told the lady, as kindly as possible, that she needs to go to the back of the line and wait like the other customers. Instead, the barista (I wish I remembered his name! I'll just call him Teddy for now) smiled, nodded, quickly made the drink and handed it to the woman with "No charge- Merry Christmas!" It was simultaneously shocking and brilliant! Instead of taking the time to argue with the customer (and then, ironically, have to deal with an angrier version of said-customer after she'd waited in line a second time) he spent a grand total of 60 seconds to meet the customer's request and make her day, and move quickly onto the next drink (coincidentally my flat white latte.) While in retrospect I guess I should feel cheated, I can't help but think WOW- what service! Way to go Teddy. You rock, Teddy! I was sure to smile very big at Teddy when he called my name and handed me my cup. Big stars for service here! read more

I'm giving this location one star because I've visited it over three times now and I am getting the same results. This location has become very slow in the a.m. This used to be my go to location on my way to work but It is obvious that mobile orders are more important than in-store orders even when there's no one there. I have watched multiple mobile orders made before my drink has even been noticed. It typically takes over five minutes to get a drink even when no one is there. Because this location is so slow now I prefer to drive past it and go to the next nearest Starbucks. The only time I actually stop at this location is when I think I actually have 10 minutes to spare. read more

I consistently have a great experience here. JJ made a custom beverage exactly how I liked and was super nice, friendly and welcoming to me. The store is relatively clean and always seems to be bustling. I am always greeted when I come in , and my beverages taste great every time. As Starbucks go this is a good one. They've always had particularly nice staff here. The interior used to be a little nicer, as now they've taken away the partitions and added more tables to accommodate the increased traffic they seem to enjoy. It's nice that they have a few tables outside, however. I stopped in today for a quick stop. Ordered a iced vanilla coffee and a quad espresso. The gentleman behind the counter was delightful and seemed like he was at the least pretending to be happy to be there. Coffee came out fast and just right. Traffic can be a nightmare along Sydney Marcus but if you use the light right there on the corner you should have no problem getting in and out with ease. read more

My only qualm is that the barista I had forgot to put the extra espresso that I ordered into my dirty chai. I paid for it, and they didn't put any espresso in at all. I just moved to the area and have been to this Starbucks twice. I've had a pleasant experience both times because the staff is very nice. However, I just have to point out that the morning crew at this Starbucks is excellent. My drink always tastes good and they are always so friendly and talkative in the morning. I get some people may not like this, but if I'm already trying to wake up and the person I'm talking to doesn't seem like they want to be at work....it doesn't help. Friendly and smiling staff but my drink was bad. Ordered a tall peppermint mocha. When the barista went to hand me my drink she said "oops, I forgot the peppermint". So she grabs the peppermint syrup and pumps three pumps in the already full to brim cup and just puts the cap back on and hands it to me. I mixed the syrup myself, after having to take a few sips of what tasted like straight peppermint syrup (to make room for the straw), but even after trying to mix it myself it still tasted off and bad. Had to throw the drink away after a few sips. Should add that I'm not really picky with my coffee/drinks, I would've drank it if it was at all drinkable, I kept trying every few minutes but never got better. read more

I have never had a bad interaction with a Starbucks employee, but today I received my drink and the cashier failed to add an extremity to my order that I requested. So I simply told the barista it was wrong and asked if it could be added, he then rolls his eyes, huffs & puffs & says with a horrible attitude "give me a second".
