When they are there 4 stars! Just went to drive thru lights on menu lit up and no one comes to window. Turns out they are closed for lack of staff! No sorry we are closed signs or maybe don't light up the establishment very annoying. When in the old building across the street they never had this happen the staff friendly drinks good, then they rebuild to modern style across street and the quality of service went down and prices went up and they close randomly. I have to say - I'm really impressed with this Starbuck's customer service. The employees are friendly, professional and quick to make your drink. Nothing better than great / quick service at 7 am when you are rushing to work but you HAVE to have your Starbucks fix! Jessica rocks, sooooo friendly and always has my favorite drink ready to go so I don't have to wait. They make me feel like a VIP every time I am there. read more

If you are on your way to Tahoe from the south bay, this is a great place to stop for breakfast or a pick me up. It is super close to the highway and they are open very early on the weekends. I had the opera chai and it was delicious. I know that Starbucks kind of tastes the same everywhere but it is extra good if you get up at 4am and don't know when you get breakfast. We also stopped here on the way back from Tahoe because we were drenched (installing snow chains). Their restrooms are extra big and make a good place to change into dry clothes. read more

So I'd never been a consumer of Starbucks before, as I do not like coffee. However, me and a friend were up in Auburn to do some whitewater rafting, and he is a coffee-lover, so we stopped in to get a beverage to wake him up after our adventure. I considered the menu, not expecting to find anything that I wanted, when I saw the Strawberry Acai Refresher. When the manager learned that it was my very first time purchasing something at Starbucks, she insisted that the drink was free of charge. AND it was delicious. As a "neighbor" or regular of this location, this location has never failed to disappoint me. The staff is very attentive, courteous, and overall really make every effort to make you feel welcome. The staff knows my "drink" and I have often been met with my drink at the same time I'm paying for it. While my addiction for my special drink makes me a little identifiable, I recently found myself hosting a meeting in the office that I was in charge of coordinating (for clients and prospects). Everything was covered...except the coffee. I woke up at 5am and called them as soon as they opened. I said, "Hi, this is the 'Iced Venti Skinny Caramel Macchiato with Extra Caramel"...and was met with, "HI MARY". I needed coffee for 30 people, and I needed it in 45 minutes. They absolutely accommodated me, and saved my day!! This location is known for being a great place to stop on your way to Reno or Tahoe (and back) but deserves to be recognized for the regulars as well. read more

Awful! They didn't have what we ordered so they just made a different drink and when they gave it to us they just said "we were out of what you ordered so here's an iced coffee" Ummmm what?! First of all there was a huge price difference and they didn't offer to reimburse us for what we already paid for, and second- we didn't want an iced coffee. When we asked if we could get our money back they told us we could go back in line and the man at the register would reload our cards. I go to Starbucks several times a day and have never been to one where the employees were so rude. Good think we don't live around here! It was so disappointing! read more

I have been stopping at this Starbucks in the mornings for the past year and half. I go early so never a line. Always greeted with a smiling face and a great cup of coffee. Parking is a breeze and plenty of it. Always clean! They even have started to remember my drink which is crazy cause my days vary. Stopped in before heading back to my town for some coffee and food. The baristas were super cool and super nice. The old dude was super nice. The dude with the giant stretched ears seemed super focused on making sure the drinks were right/coming out on time. There was a blonde girl who took our order who seemed really irritated but that's whatever. The drinks came out great. Usually get the salted caramel cold foam cold brew and a lot of places make it wrong, but this one made it just right. Store was clean as well. read more

On my way back from Tahoe and stopped at this Starbucks 10 minutes before closing to grab a quick coffee and the doors were locked and both exploiters refused to open doors and signaled that they were closed. I double checked my phone for the time and it was 8:50. The closing time of this store specifically says 9:00 per their website. Very rude and their website is inaccurate to their actual closing time. They really close at 8:30pm so disregard their websites 9pm closing time. read more

From what I can tell this is the closes stand alone Starbucks from the down town (casino area). Its a 2-3 block walk away...perfect if you want to take a walk and get coffee. read more

This Starbucks is recommended. The milk is steamed correctly! It's actually frothed and not just hot milk. This means sooo much, thank you. Other locations, (the one across the street), need to learn how to make a latte correctly. read more
