I exited the freeway and drove the one mile only to discover that I had driven by this area hundreds of times and never realized that there was Baskin Robbins in Baldwin Park. I entered the small, clean and well organized shop. I was immediately greeted by two young, female employees, "good morning. Welcome to Baskin Robbins". Is it just me or does hearing a nice greeting from employees of any business always make you feel appreciated? I LOVE ice cream and always go for the "no sugar added" flavors which most locations only offer one such flavor, "Coconut/pineapple". This location not only had this same flavor big they also offered a SECOND, "no sugar added" flavor, "Caramel Turtle Truffle". WHAT!!! Of course, I requested one of each of the above flavors in a come and one spoonful of either flavor and I was happy as a kid in an ice cream shop.
