Mediocre coffee. We need better coffee shops out here in Banning. Need to drive all the way out to Redlands to find anything close to decent

I have a question. Is this Starbucks using recycled or used cups? I'm noticing a trend, every time I come here whether I get a refresher, a cold tea or even water there is always coffee grains at the bottom inside the cup. The cups are also always stained. I have complained over six times and every time I'm told " Oh I'm so sorry about that, I will make sure it does not happen. I end up getting the same thing and wasting the dam drink after throwing it away. I came twice today once in the morning and asked for water along with my coffee and there is coffee grains in my water. Came about 5:20 and got two refreshers and again found coffee grains inside the drinks and the cup stained with old coffee? Like what the heck is going on? read more

I like Starbucks. I used to go to Starbucks all the time when I travelled more for work. This location is probably one of the worst I've been to though and it was because of the customer service, or lack there of in this particular experience. I am pretty simple when it comes to coffee. I don't drink coffee with loads of sugar or milk or anything of the sort. I drink my coffee plain. No room for cream or sugar. Straight up coffee. Iced or hot, depending on the weather. With that said, it's really hard to screw up plain coffee. This location managed to do so, but again, things happen, I get it. But it wasn't really made right. We had gone through the drive thru for coffee and I paid using my Starbucks card. I tend to alway do this because it makes it easier for me to leave them a fair tip. After I paid for our drinks and tipped in the app, we received our drinks and drove away. I took a sip of my iced coffee, and was immediately grossed out. It tasted like they dumped several sugar packets into the coffee. I had my partner take a sip of the coffee and he agreed that it was loaded with sugar. I initially thought maybe my taste buds were off, but nope, tons of sugar added to my coffee. Yuck. Mistakes happen, so I thought this would be an easy fix. It wasn't. We had to pay for a second cup of iced coffee even though it wasn't our fault they put unwanted sugar in my coffee when I had ordered it plain. I would think that if a mistake happened, it would be fixed, but not here. The correct coffee I received was great and kept me awake and focused for the rest of the long drive home. I would give them another shot, but would probably make sure it is clear to them I do not want anything added to my plain coffee. read more

Most of the time the lobby is Closed and now the drive-through is closed too. Wtf!!!!

The line is long like it usually is at every Starbucks but what I noticed was the same person taking the orders is charging and handing the you your things. Maybe short staffed? Not sure. But also noticed she didn't bother with a greeting when she opened the window. She just asked for payment and then shoved my coffee in my hand and closed the window so fast I didn't get a chance to ask for a straw. A little work on customer service can go along way. read more

Originally I was going to go through the drive through. As I saw the line of car, I think it was best to go inside instead. I ended up ordering a venti caramel frappuccino for my mom. The ordering process was fairly quick. The drink took about 5 minutes to get, which is not bad. The place is pretty clean, and a good place to study. I've been going to this location for quit a while, usually a hit or miss depending when you go. read more

Visited this Starbucks today and had the best service I've ever received in a Starbucks. The team are super friendly and you can tell they enjoy working there and have a good vibe. I always stop here on my travels to LA. They have great coffee and the condiments bar is always full. The cream container is never empty. I saw one Starbucks store change managers once and was amazed how downhill it went. Condiments were never full and it got dirty. Not this place. Always completely clean everywhere and service is always superior. I always go fo the Pikes Place with sweetener. Unless its s holiday and they have a special flavor. I also love the smokey bacon egg sandwich. That bacon flavor really makes it taste like breakfast. Great place. read more

Went to this Starbucks this morning & i always regret it. They never listen to my order & always end up giving me the wrong drink, the manager Angie was super rude & was rushing us i couldnt even ask for a straw, thank goodness lily was great & remade my drink how it was supposed to be made! On Friday, February 14, 2020, I stopped and got a grande iced chai tea latte with soy milk and cinnamon. I had diarrhea the entire weekend and could not figure out what I had that caused it. This morning, I stopped at this same Starbucks and ordered a venti iced chai tea latte with soy milk and cinnamon. I only ate their classic oatmeal with brown sugar and nuts. Once again I have diarrhea and the nasty nausea belches. No more drinks from Starbucks. Spoiled mille being served in their drinks. read more

I went here a couple weeks ago and was in drive thru 34 minutes. I thought maybe it was a bad day. We Tried again today and was in drive thru 15 mins and still hadn't even ordered. I ended up just leaving. I won't waste my time anymore and will just go somewhere else! read more

I just recently moved to Banning, and I can not shake the disappointment in the lack of staffing at this store. Just this morning I questioned the clerk in the drive-thru why there was a lack of staff and she told me they were on lunch to prepare for the lunch rush! WHAT a poor excuse: isn't every shift busy for Starbucks? I commend the staff that was there this morning, because I watched as she was moving at a fast pace on another order while awaiting my simple coffee be served. My disappointment is in this Banning Management on this one, because of their lack of providing customers a level of service other Starbucks hold their stores to across the world, my spinach feta wrap was NOT double toasted as I requested upon ordering and the wait in the drive-thru very extreme!!! read more

I'm the type of human that does not usually take the time to write reviews. If I could leave zero stars I would. I have a hard time understanding how it's taking the drive thru staff over a hr to process us in the drive thru. The inside dinning is closed and all customers are forced in the drive thru but the staff still seem to not be able to hustle and work quickly. Very disappointed with the service. read more

Was craving the blueberry tea since last night and the only reason we went since I was raving about them. I paid for 2 of them. After 10 minutes the girl says we don't have anymore blueberry or others and only guava is available. Not sure why thE reviews are so bad. I was falling asleep and needed some coffee and this was the closes one. The cashier was super nice, restrooms were clean and there is a large sitting area which I really liked. I always get the Carmel macchiato and this place did not disappoint. read more

This will be my only visit here since it took almost an hour, no joke, in line waiting on coffee. Starbucks HQ please investigate this place immediately as some process changes are required for the efficiency of operations at this place. Since I'll never be returning to this location I can truly say that I'm disappointed with the extremely long wait times. Extremely long drive thru lines. I really hope some heads roll so that the community, that would like faster service and are frequent visitors, can reap the benefits of the great coffee served by Starbucks. After surviving a weekend of heat and hipsters at Coachella, we made our way slowly but surely back to home. Before we could get very far, we all agreed after the late night the evening before, coffee was in order. We'd already headed out on the highway, so we kept our eyes peeled for any rest stops where we could get some caffeine. Success! We stopped off at Banning to pick up some Starbucks. (Which I swore would be my last for this trip!) We went through the drive-through, in the interest of time so we wouldn't be getting back home too late at night. I ordered my usual--an iced chai--and as usual, I made some modifications--five pumps of chai, light ice. I also ordered a maple scone to get some food in my belly until we could stop for a proper meal. Our drinks were ready pretty quickly, considering the wait times I've had at the drive-through Starbucks shops back home. No surprise, though, my drink wasn't quite right--I don't know what definition of "light ice" this Starbucks used because my cup was packed with ice. But that's usually par for the course for drive-through Starbucks--my theory is they figure you're not watching them prep your drink so by the time you notice anything's wrong, you'll be long gone. And yes, we were long gone before I realized this. But considering I was heading back home to *real* coffee instead of the corporate chain coffee, I was willing to look the other way. read more

This Starbucks is great! I don't know why it had such a low rating before. Terra at the register was a delight and went out of her way to make sure we were happy. We received a drink that had too much ice and when I asked a barista about it she apologized and immediately made me a new one, no questions asked. We often drive past this Starbucks between LA and Palm Springs and we will definitely make this a regular stop. read more

This is a roll of the dice kind of Starbucks. So far most of my visits have been good. I have had 1 bad experience, where my latte didn't taste right & I didn't do the taste test before driving away. I've never had to do the taste test here until recently. They are hit or miss with speediness as well. I'm giving 4 stars because of the staff, location (drive thru) inside space, which is enormous & clean & the great outdoor seating. read more

I originally thought people were exaggerating in their reviews here but I came to this location on my way home from a trip and I completely agree with others. First, came in to this place and it want that busy but waited a while to be able to order my drink. Then waited forever to get my drink once I had ordered it and it was very highly staffed. Easily counted 6-7 people behind the counter , something I rarely see at other Starbucks. When my drink finally came I was given the wrong order, had to return and get another drink made. To make matters worse I had seen the barista messed up on two other people's drinks then another persons after I had to return for him to core t mine. Only thing I will admit the guy apologized many times and was very friendly but at the same time he was making way too many mistakes in such little time. It's one of few Starbucks along the freeway so it's an easy stop but not the best stop for coffee for sure. Also, restroom is one person at a time so makes for many long lines for such a large establishment. read more

The drive through is hit or miss depending on who is working. Sometimes I pull up to the window and my drink is ready and sometimes I have to wait a few minutes, even when no one was ahead of me. As far customer service goes Indiana and the other girls with the tattoos are always awesome and friendly. Nicole and the heavy set brunette have terrible attitudes and are always rude. They should not be allowed to speak to customers. Overall the wait time could be improved along with some of the associates attitudes. read more

Seriously what is wrong with this guy Andrew. He spells his name on his name tag as "&REW". I can only assume him to be ignorant or simply not give a F*%# about his job or his customers. This schmuck repeatedly hands out orders without calling a name or checking to put drinks from mobile orders with the rest of the food items from that mobile order. Both times I've come here he handed my beverage to another person and caused a delay in my morning as I now have to wait for them to remake my order. This is only my second visit to this location as I'm in the area frequently for work and it's clear that the staff at this location simply don't care. read more

24 hours ! at 4 am I needed Caffine...wasn't sure what to get... "thanks for being open so late" I say... "thanks for coming here making us be here so late" they say as flat as a tire... "not sure what I want" "just pull up to the window" a short convo about caffeine content of Lattes VS frapacinos later and I had my latte... I start to hand her my credit card....
