Located on the crazy busy intersection of SW Cedar Hills and Hall, you can actually enter from either street in their unusual, but it a totally works, wrap around drive through! When I'm shopping in this area, I often stop in. Last. Isn't I had to redeem stars that were expiring that day. During the Pandemic, this is one of the few a Starbucks open until 10pm. I didn't want coffee so late at night so I ordered a breakfast sandwich, I cooked, to heat up on my own the next day. They were very accommodating. Made sure to give me the "Legal speak" that they are not responsible if I heated it incorrectly and sandwich wasn't up to quality" to which I placed my hand on the Bible and swore to name my first child Starbucks, and they gave me the sandwich, points redeemed! The staff was friendly but the slowest moving group of people I have ever seen. No sense of urgency minus maybe one guy. Drive thru was busy. Lobby wasn't. After not moving an inch in the drive thru for 5 minutes I came inside and waited another 5 to be helped because no one was running the register. Then another 25 for my drink. I ordered a grande coffee with two packs of raw sugar stirred. The coffee was warm by the time I got halfway through the cup I decided to heat the coffee in the microwave with the lid off. APPLE PAY! Ok, I admit it - I'm a Starbucks junky. Hard to go anywhere without stopping. It happens, it's expensive, but it's not easy. The fact that Starbucks accepts Apple Pay makes it that much more appealing. The drive-through this location offers combined with it's close proximity puts it over the top for me. The coffee is consistently good. I know it's not the best, but time and distance inhibit my willingness to search better out. Some of the employees know me by name, as I do them, and it feels like coming home on every visit. Starbucks tends to be spendy given the product, but their rewards program helps to offset that. I find strong consistency in both service and product between stores, so have no qualms about stopping at different Starbucks when I'm out of the area (not to mention they all take Apple Pay!) read more

When I was five I got the chicken pox the week before my family moved from Boise to Phoenix. My parents kept me kinda hidden in the moving van. I wasn't contagious but I was a tiny pale thing alarmingly covered in red spots. I looked like I had the plague. They'd grudgingly let me out out of the moving van for meals. I ate grilled cheese sandwiches the entire way. Day in, day out. And these were diner/ truck stop gooey American cheese on buttery greasy grilled white bread sandwiches. I was a happy if itchy child. When we landed in Scottsdale I ate them for a couple more weeks at the motel coffee shop until my parents got a house and started feeding me vegetables. Grilled cheese is still a go to for me and my kid.Its kinda safe. if you think about it most cultures have sort of a version of it: quesadillas, naan stuffed with cheese, pizza, baguette and brie.Even fondue echoes that toasted bready thing paired with gooey cheesey thing. This past week between appoinments I ducked in the drive thru for an iced tea. What's this? Starbucks has grilled cheese? On grainy wheat bread with three cheeses for $5.25, heated in one of their bakery bags my hopes were not high. It was good.Three kinds of melty cheese on buttery crispy salty bread. Under 600 calories ( fat content not awesome). I really liked it. A lot. I think the price is a bit stiff ( $4 seems more reasonable) but I'd get it again. I can't give Starbucks five stars. They sweetened my iced tea without asking. I had requested no classic in their Starbuck's special moon language, too. But grilled cheese? Came here to do some quick work on my laptop, but I usually dont come here. I always imagined it to be super small because of the drive thru layout and triangular shape, but it's actually a good space and even larger than some of the other starbucks I've been to surprisingly. I believe Emily was the girl that helped me. she was super nice and when I asked about the sugar content of the new mango dragon fruit refresher, she pulled up the nutrition facts on her phone. friendly and bubbly too. the team seemed to work very well together, so maybe that helps bring better customer service too, I dont know. anyway, check this place out if you need to grab a drink, work or study, or rendezvous with someone. one of the few starbucks drivethrus in the area too! btw, that mango dragon fruit refresher is only 90 calories (19g sugar) for the grande and is super good. plenty sweet, and I'm not too much of a sugar sweetness kinda guy either. also came with some dragon fruit pieces in it! read more

I visited this Starbucks today and ordered on the app and went to wait for my drink in the lobby. After waiting for almost 20 minutes I finally went to check in with the barista, they were already behind and defensive from the jump when I inquired about my order. I was never rude but after she told me that she didn't have my sticker, I asked how that could happen because my food had already come out and people who came in long after me had already come and gone. Someone of authority came out (manager, shift supervisor??) who said their mobile system was down. Neither the barista nor the supervisor would look for my sticker or take a drink order. I tried to tell them I was going to go run an errand and come back but they deliberately avoided me so I just left. I came back about 10 minutes later and asked them if they had ever gotten my drink, I was told "well we have a bunch right here so maybe it's there" by the supervisor, but I knew already none of them were mine. I tried to tell them this but they just walked away. I asked the barista if she had any more orders and she said in the bitchiest tone "no we don't" and walked away. I tried to ask her "well, can you make my drink" but once again, the workers literally avoided me never apologizing, never offering to make it right. I get that maybe some other customers had been rude or the workers were stressed by the pace of the job, but when you literally lost a drink from someone who ordered 45 minutes earlier it would have been nice to be treated with an ounce of human dignity. I understand that service is hard, but there was literally no reason to be so incredibly annoyed and rude with me. read more

Kinda scare when I walked in but kinda loved it, first time in Oregon and I guess things are different here because I walked in and everyone immediately started serending me all the way until I go to the register and then the person behind the register took out a big Easter basket looking thing and it was filled with super odd things like a nerf gun and a cool collection of hot wheels and a single 10-inch solid gold stiletto. Gave 4 stars because how am I supposed to wear the stiletto without the second part of the pair???? Idk man but I ordered an iced coffee with 4 classic, 6 white mocha, 3 brown sugar and 1 cinnamon dolce pump and heavy cream with extra ice and extra chocolate cold foam and they made it beautifully and they wrote a message of the cup that said "hopefully you can learn to hop on one foot in a stiletto because I lost the second shoe, xoxo me" super welcoming. read more

A Starbucks in a central location, primarily used for its drive-through. In fact I've never been inside. My visit was on a Sunday, and the line was out to the road, not unusual. I was in at 10:55 and out at 11:04. Not bad, considering. My order was a double-smoked bacon sandwich and a doppio (plain double shot) with raw sugar and 3 tablespoons half and half. Sandwich was overdone and dry, but the espresso was executed correctly. The barista can't help if the coffee is over-roasted. She was pleasant and I liked that there is a camera as you order so you can see them, too. read more

Not a big fan of this Starbucks. The drive-through is convenient, but makes it difficult to park and walk in. Parking is limited, and you have to be careful about parking at nearby places because threats of being towed. Also, it's very loud inside...more so than other Starbucks I have frequented. (Such as the Starbucks by Jeld-Wen downtown...way better studying atmosphere in there!). The lead associate there (assuming some sort of manager or assistant manager) was bossing the other staff around and I had to listen to her practically yelling at them at times. The drinks tasted fine, so I'm sure going though the drive-through or going in just to pick up a drink would be fine (although there was quite a line), but actually sitting there was stressful. Not to mention it was pretty cold inside. I probably will be trying to find another study place in the area...this one just didn't do it for me. read more

This store is the worst. My drinks are almost never what they should be. Typically order a refresher with light ice and no foam ( when they shake it it fills an inch+ with foam). Last couple times there was foam, or way too much water or ice filled to the rim. Only saving grace is Grace (no pun intended) who works the drive through. She is friendly and sweet. I called to complain about my last drink and spoke to the manager on duty and he literally said, 'okay, thanks for letting us know. Anything else?' Not good enough. I'm pregnant with 2 kids and it's nice to have a drive-thru, but not when I have to get out and have them remake my drink again anyway. read more

I went from one to five stars. Today I went back on my lunch break. Went through the drive thru. I ordered my cold brew and waited...and waited. Nearly 18 minutes later I was next. Apparently everyone ahead of me ordered for the whole office. I saw several drinks and snacks go to each car. I was frustrated but it's not their fault as to what orders come in. Finally it's my turn! I pull up and the guy at the window hands me my drink and says, "You have waited entirely too long, this one is on me." How crazy is this? I've never been in a car in a drive-through Starbucks before. Ahh, I see nobody is that amazed (no gasps, no impassioned crying out, "oh no, Kerri, say it isn't true). Well, OK, have it your way. Here's my usual opening line for a Starbuck's store, "I usually don't go to Starbucks and like to support local coffee businesses, but ...", and the way I end this line today is "I had to have one of the shaken iced tea/lemonade drinks, and a friend was buying, so really, truly it wasn't really ME gracing Starbucks with my money." I guess another train of though too would be that I haven't been to Starbucks since Christmas. My father always said I was going to turn out an attorney with my fabulous arguing abilities, but I think fantasy writer might have been the better guess with my imagination (and I didn't turn out to be that either; I save those skills for Yelp). ANYHOW, we made it through the drive-through window and it works really very well. I thought it would be too slow (especially with friend's tweens in the backseat waiting for drinks with us), but they came out in an excellent amount of time and the world seemed to get all rosy with my first taste of my iced tea (first harbinger of spring and all, although I did see a narcissus bush in bloom which set me off too). I realize I'm about twenty years behind the times on this, but Starbucks, good job on the drive-through. 3.95 for a medium latte makes me sick. Not having to get out of the car to get this latte, makes me feel a little better about it. Getting through the drive through in under 3 mins also helps...Starbucks consistency seals the deal. When you tell Starbucks to jump, they say how high. They don't glare at you when you ask for a non fat,extra hot, 2 pumps punkin no whip cream no foam latte, they just smile and get that shit done right. This Starbucks is as good as it gets. The service is always primo. I love the drive through. I love the service. I love the fabulous service. We go there almost every day - because we're lazy and hate getting up early enough to make our own coffee - and every day, the people that work there know us, they know our order, they know that we have our own cups, they know our names the days we have off from work, even our dog's name. They always try to help save us money and have no problem fixing mistakes when there is a new person that doesn't understand our orders. I enjoy being a local customer and having such great treatment given to us. It's truly awesome, and almost like living in a small town. Not to mention they make a damn good latte. read more

Customers don't know how to use the drive-thru traffic pattern here. If you wait where you're supposed to wait, people will pull in from Cedar Hills blvd and just cut in front of you without paying any attention. This review is specific to this location - I'm assuming you're accepting of $5 for a cup of coffee, and you're ignoring the age-old argument that Starbucks' coffee isn't the best in town. Whatever. Not getting into it, not factoring that in. No, this review is about what makes this location special compared to the million other locations around the world. Obviously, I come here a lot. The crew at this 'Bucks is the phenomenal, and that's not giving them enough credit. I had a really scary thing happen to me here recently (not at all related to Starbucks - they had nothing to do with it, it was by chance that I was here when it happened), and this crew treated me like a member of their own family. They were more concerned about me than the law enforcement officer that visited me that day. One even gave me something that belonged to her that she thought would keep me safe. This team goes beyond the coffee cup, and I will never forget how amazing they were that day. But that was just one day of the over 100 I've been here. They're wonderful then too - always cheerful, always on their toes, always with a smile on their face. Experience is an important part of my decision to frequent a business, and this store has won a customer for life! (Oh - but to counter something from my original review - no more outdoor seating. Apparently those in the drive-thru would drive through the patio area a few too many times, and the staff were too concerned about safety to keep it open!
