The dark roast drip and an iced vanilla latte did not last long, but both were exactly the companions that we needed to ford the miles through the wildfire smoke and down the other side of the mountains. The dark roast is exceptionally strong and bold but does not taste burnt. Settle it down with a splash of cream and you have an outstanding cup of coffee. The iced latte had just the right amount of espresso and went down fine, even with the ice. Friendly baristas and two drive-through windows make this Bend coffee stop a winner in my book.

I paid full price for the stupid iced tea, I think they should've given us a discount for having us wait soo long. My grandson was upset with me for being late which I wouldn't have been there plenty of time. This is so frustrating and the stickers just not worth it. It's like they don't even try anymore. The decor is simple & tasteful with a definite calming aesthetic to it. We ordered a cold London Storm & a cold decaf latte to go. They were both excellent & served in adorable jars that you can take back & get a credit. While most places also fill up their cold coffee drinks with ice, here they shake them with ice in a cocktail shaker then put them in the jars without extra ice. It's so delicious & keeps the coffee flavor so much more! While there are other coffee places in Sisters, we are definitely heading back to The Slow Down State next time we're in town!!

Pretty solid bet if you need some coffee for the road, or because you have terrible hotel coffee.
