So, my daughter and her two friends were at Starbucks for one of their's birthdays, and they all went to the bathroom. One of them was on the toilet using the bathroom when a male worker opened the door entirely and yelled at them that it was one at a time. He looked around and stayed with the door open for a good 20 seconds looking at them all. Again one was on the toilet. My daughter felt violated and uncomforted by this. read more

I've had this experience more then once so it's time for a review. I order through the app because it's so slow despite having a large amount of staff working. I order 4 items and 3 are ready. I wait for an additional 5-10 minutes and still no hot coffee (sometimes it's the food or the cold coffee) so I ask the person at the register who advised me it would be faster if I ordered my hot coffee at the register and food and cold drinks through the app. Except sometimes I have the drinks and wait an extra 5-10 for food. Or hot food comes out and I have to wait for bakery items. Why have an app if I have to order at the register. Why is this the customers fault? He actually told me I should not have waited so long to ask. Why does it take 15 minutes to complete one order? By the time I left the food was cold. And I was frankly pissed off. Never an apology. And as I'm getting napkins I hear one of the girls yell my name. Now she has the hot drink ready! The cashier tells her he already got it. So order placed at 8:22. Hot coffee finally made at 8:45. Bohemia, NY location - Ordered Iced Latte in drive thru lane. Charged almost 5 bucks for tall. Looked and tasted like extra extra light coffee. Went inside to talk to Manager who was very dismissive about situation. "I don't make the prices and there is only one shot of expresso in a tall drink". Clearly, something was wrong with the drink. Poor customer interaction considering I go there all the time. I got refund and went across the street to MacDonalds for ice coffee. It was great and the staff treated me with respect. read more

Staff is very friendly and efficient. Mobile orders are usually ready when I arrive to pick them up. I no longer work in the Oakdale/Bohemia area, so I will not be visiting this location. Based on the negative stories that I have read about the unfair labor practices that are being used against Starbuck's employees who attempt to unionize their stores, I will be seeking out other coffee cafes to enjoy my coffee. This Starbucks has a drive through, which is great but the line moves excrutiatingly SLOW. If you have a good 20 minutes to kill just to get one drink then hop right on. Drinks are always fine and the staff is nice but don't come here if you have somewhere to be especially the drive thru. I get the mornings are busy but I've came here at all hours during the day and their drive thru is a nightmare. Expect to be waiting a good 10-15 maybe even 20 minutes just to get through. read more

This is the slowest starbucks on the island. For one drink, you are waiting 20 minutes minimum regardless of how many cars are in front of you. Also, if you want a drink hot (even if it already is supposed to come hot) ask because they will automatically make iced and then you are waiting another 15 minutes. read more

This place hit rock bottom today! Over several years,it has steadily dropped in service, cleanliness and customer service. Today, The barista Joe was beyond slow, wore a shirt that was soiled and turned my tall Vanilla Bean latte into a Vente order. The sous vide I ordered was thrown into a paper bag with no cardboard filler and no fork. When I asked, I was told they were out of the cardboard " cradles". Joe asked if I wanted a fork and my response prompted another server to suggest they handle the sloppy sous vide at the bottom of the paper bag. An oatmeal container was the answer . As is often the case here, waiting is the norm. Sometimes, staff chats while customers wait. The floor was scattered with dropped paper and looked messy and unkempt and unclean. The topper: A woman sat at a table with piles of cash in front of her, while she checked through a book stuffing the money into envelopes . She gave one employee an envelope. Yikes!!!
