I did mobile order pick up at this Starbucks and had a great experience. It was a Thursday morning around 8am and wasn't too busy (it was also Thanksgiving, so probably less busier than usual). I didn't have to wait very long for my order to be ready. The inside was clean and festively decorated for the holiday season. Lots of merch available for purchase + grab and go snacks. The people working were very nice and friendly. I ordered a sugar cookie latte and cranberry bliss bar. Both items were delicious! Perfect treats for the holiday season! I usually support local businesses and I haven't cared for Starbucks coffee, in general. However, our local shops either close too early, 3pm, or have employees who don't care if I'm there or not. Today, I met Gabby and she solidified why I come to this Starbucks. After we ordered, my dad said to me, do you know that girl? You two have been talking like you've known each other for 30 years. (Not possible because I think she's about 23!) All of the people at this Starbucks greet you with a smile, whether placing an order or picking up your order. I feel like I am appreciated for coming in. They are also open until 7pm and I am a later in the day coffee drinker! You can easily pop on and off the highway to get this pick me up. 2. It has what you like. We all have a starbucks order on lock. There's no need to be ashamed or shy about this fact. It's comforting to know that no matter what city or state you're in, you can go to a starbucks and get your coffee the way you like it. 3. The coffee, the restrooms and the cashiers are better than gas stations! The first two are obvious so I'll expand the third. When you order a $10 coffee and pay with a crisp $100 bill, you don't expect it when the cashier says she has to make change in $5 and $1 bills, only to be corrected by the manager that they won't take a $100 bill, at all. Period. Can't pay with legal tender. It is a busy store, they should have plenty of cash by 8am, and I complained to the cashier. The man behind me in line offered to make up the difference of my partial payment with singles and change. I was forced to use my credit card, which I try to avoid using for coffee purchases. While my drink was fine, I'm not keen on coming back. The actual wait time for my drink was longer than I would expect a nearly empty Starbucks with no line to ever be. I ordered a standard drink with nothing unusual. I wasn't offered a receipt, just told I was "all set." Is that typical? To begin, my coworker picked up my Matcha tea order, but unfortunately, the Starbucks staff overlooked including the coffee cake with the tea I had ordered. This caused some inconvenience as I had to leave work to pick up the coffee cake up. Upon arrival, I found that the cake was cold, so I kindly requested a replacement. The employee was very quick and accommodating, immediately exchanging the cold cake for a freshly warmed one without a question. She was both professional and pleasant throughout the whole interaction. Additionally, without me having to ask, she provided me with a $4 gift card as a gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience. I was pleasantly surprised by this generous and excellent customer service. Furthermore, the location itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. Overall, I was thoroughly impressed and would rate this Starbucks location five stars. I will definitely be returning! Thanks to all of the staff for being so professional. There is only one Starbucks in Boulder City, NV, and this is it! It's located just before "Historic Downtown" on Nevada Way and situated behind Habaneros Taco Grill. About a 5-minute drive up from Lake Mead. Unfortunately, there is no drive-thru, so be prepared to either pick up at curbside or walk into the store. No seating available inside of the store at this time; None outdoor either. Not too many mugs or tumblers on display, but it could be because I visited after the Christmas holiday and things were simply sold out. I just like walking into a Starbucks and perusing their merch though! Service was nice. I ordered a hot Matcha Latte and like always, it hit the spot! Temp was spot on, hot, and perfect in this chilly weather. My goldie, Fiji, earned a puppuccino (a tall cup of whipped cream) after hiking nearly 8 miles at nearby Historic Railroad Trail. Headed out of town from Las Vegas on Interstate 11 or US 95? This Starbucks will be your last shot (no pun intended) for at least 90-200 miles to the nearest coffee shop. And, by the way, none of what you'll find further on are much good in any direction towards Laughlin, NV Needles, CA, or Kingman, AZ. For me, on my motorcycle long hauls or even just going a few hundred miles into Arizona or California, this is the last stop to grab a good cup of coffee, and I always do. The parking lot is small, so on my bike, it works well. The baristas here are friendly enough, and the travelers don't over-run the place most of the time, so lines aren't long on the weekends. The coffee is Starbucks, and so is always reliably good to me. If you don't want to have coffee withdrawals for at least the next 100-200 miles, it's a good idea to stop here. read more

I have been to this Starbucks location many many times and in the most recent months I have noticed the service has gone extremely downhill. I find myself waiting much longer than I used to when waiting for even something as simple as a sandwich. I also have had multiple experiences where the barista adds things into my drink that I specifically put I didn't want, for example, ice. However, I find that the food here is extremely delicious and I enjoy coming here, but I really wish there was an improvement with the quality of service. I believe that in the food industry, the quality of the service should match the quality of the food and vise versa. Before and after my hiking adventures in Boulder City or south of the Arizona-Nevada border, I enjoy a caffeine beverage. Before or after these hiking adventures, I have spent time in the Boulder City Starbuck's unwinding with a caffeinated beverage. The Boulder City Starbucks sits on prime real estate. It is at the crossroads of US 93, the highway connecting Las Vegas to Arizona and Nevada Way, the Main Street of Boulder City. It shares this prime real estate with an Albertson's, Burger King, and strip mall. Regardless of the traffic volume on US 93 it is a breeze to pull in and out of this parking lot. Just like Boulder City, its Starbuck's features open space.It is a large Starbuck's that is more similar in size to a McDonald's than a coffee shop. The open spaces feature different seating arrangements with a variety of outside views. The outside views feature a Nevada Way passing through a corridor of motels on its way to the Historic District, a suburban US 93 with big horn sheep statues, and a not too far Red & Black Mountain. If your into catching up on the news, they have Boulder City News and the Review Journal. Large tables provide ample room to spread out a book and Starbuck's beverage. Smart phone users have sufficient outlets to charge their devices and complimentary WiFi. When the weather is nice, there is patio seating. What I appreciate about the Boulder City Starbuck's is that it is so convenient to the local hiking trails. I have used it as a trailhead to the River Mountains Loop Trail, Bootleg Canyon, Teddy Bear Cholla Forest, Hemenway Valley Park, and Red & Black Mountain. For Boulder City hikers and bicyclists, this Starbuck's parking lot serves a similar function that the Charleston at Desert Foothills Albertson's Plaza parking lot does for Red Rock Canyon hikers and bicyclists. It makes a great spot for groups of hikers and bicyclists to meet up. If I ever host a Yelp Boulder City hiking UYE, I would make this the meet up spot. The baristas have been friendly. It was at this very Starbuck's that a barista introduced me to the Expresso Frapucinno. By the way this is a tasty but $ beverage for a caffeine boost. When you are driving southbound on US 93 toward Kingman, Arizona, this is the last business to get a good cup of coffee. When I travel between Arizona and Las Vegas, I usually make a stop here. I know that if I don't, I will regret it. As a Yelper, I like to expand my horizons and try new coffee shops. However, it is difficult to expand my horizons in the Boulder City coffee shop scene when they appear to be closed in the late afternoon. Maybe one day there will be a Boulder City Grouchy John's or Coffee Bean to review. Until that day, the Boulder City Starbuck's, which closes at 9 P.M. will continue to get my coffee business. The law of odds says there is a high chance that I will return to Boulder City and south of the Arizona-Nevada border for hiking adventures. This is my Starbucks when I hike at Lake Mead or In Arizona. It's convenient in and out even when the traffic to the dam is heavy, and the employees have always been very nice and competent! There is no drive through which is OK by me. It's a larger storefront than most Starbuck's with more seating area. They also have patio seating where you can watch traffic if you're really bored. The phenomenal staff here has earned the five stars. This location is for obvious reasoning, genius actually since it is prime for the Hoover Dam crowd. It's a constant revolving door here, I watched MANY people simply come in and use the restroom only. One staff member was always checking on the cleanliness of their restrooms. I took an excursion to the new Hoover Dam Bypass today, and stopped here on my way back. This is your last chance Starbucks going to Hoover Dam, and first chance coming back. It's the only Starbucks here in Boulder City. It's located at the turn-off for Hoover Dam, and gets a lot of traffic from people coming and going. My coffee tastes good.
