For the owner of this store you should know your employees are closing the store early. We went in at 6:47 to order an iced chai and was told the iced tea machines were closed for the day WTf? You still have 13 minutes left. Oh, and all the lights were off. We've gone into other tea and coffee places 10 minutes before closing and this has never happened before. Will never come here....there are too many tea and coffee places with better customer service. read more

I haven't been here in the longest time and today decided to stop by on a whim. What really stood out to me was when I walked in, I was immediately greeted by all the employees. Everyone in the store was so incredibly happy and kind, which is such a rarity anymore. The coffee itself is good, but the service is exceptional. I have to give them a shout out on how fantastic it was to go to a place where people were just all across the board friendly. I really hope that this is how they are every day because if so, I highly recommend people going and starting their day off here. Nice staff and better coffee than Starbucks. Layout is odd. There's a door facing the sidewalk, but it's always locked. People yank on the door every five minutes. Why not unlock this door? Can't say enough good things about this location! The service, attention to details and overall speed of whole staff is really great. But I needed to focus on my experience today. If you've been here more than once, you've noticed the spitfire known as Amber behind the counter. I don't think she has a "slow down" button. Today I witnessed Amber with fellow teammates J.J. and David dispatch a huge crowd in seconds. I walked in and almost left because the line was so long. Before I knew it I was ordering. This has to be the worse service I've had here..I have come here for years since we moved here. I had stop coming here for a while because for a LONG TIME like almost a year- their app wasn't working and couldn't take my app to pay in person. They couldn't scan my QR code to pay for my drinks. I was so annoyed because I had money sitting on my app which I couldn't use. The app wouldn't let me even order ahead. They told me they had technical issues for the LONGEST time. I had stop coming here because of this and they could never get my drink right. TODAY, I had money left on my app which I ordered my drinks. I got to the shop and the chick was like oh here ya go. She gives me my drink. I'm like where's the other drink. She's like what other drink? She looked so clueless and looked like she didn't care enough to check my order on the screen on front of her. I was pulling up my order on my phone until the other lady was like oh this is for so and so. I'm like that's my other drink. They gave me my other drink..didn't offer a cup holder. They weren't even busy to take time to provide good service. I had to then ask for one before they continued what they were doing. After coming home and tasting my PSL, major FAIL. I put on the app I wanted it less sweet like 25%. Holy crap- it was diabetes in a cup. All the syrup was floating on bottom. Tried to mix it but no difference. They couldn't even take time to ask me about the sweetness. I can't even with this place. Hence, i rarely go here. I should of tasted it and had them remade it. Ambiance is busy. Was serviced by Melissa who was apparently having an "off day". She seemed a bit nasty and looked at my husband and I like we were idiots for asking questions about their iced lattes. A simple question like "how many pumps" because I didn't want it overly sweet. She didn't even say hello or "smile" through her mask, If you know what I mean. Anyway, the latte was VERY sweet with the two pumps they put in it and it was just ok. The folks making the drinks were nice. Sitting out in this mall made the sugar rush worth it. Love this location here at the District in Green Valley! I decided to stop in after visiting the Farmers market today. I was craving the Matcha latte w/soy milk from there. I love this location. It's great for my kids and I since the splash pad is located across the street. I want to make one thing super clear. The reason I am giving my review 5 stars is because the trainee girl at the front. I think her name was Maggie. But she was the only one that greeted my kids and I she was very sweet and rang me up and got my drink out super quick. The other 2 employees there seemed very short and in a rush to get home. I got the tropical passion iced tea. Highly recommend. The cafe is clean and the straws and sugars were stocked up. read more

After a brief request from the owner asking for my "understanding," I wrote her this message: Thank you for your thoughtful response to my recent experience at your store. I appreciate you taking the time to address it and acknowledge your intent to provide good service. That said, I feel compelled to explain why I chose to share my experience publicly. I left the Yelp comment because I found it difficult to understand the situation I encountered: there was no clear explanation for why my order wasn't on the board; no visible process or communication to clarify what had gone wrong; and despite several staff members being present, none acknowledged me as I stood just a few feet away--clearly waiting and making eye contact--hoping for assistance. What I found most disheartening was that after waiting patiently for nearly 20 minutes and thanking the staff member who eventually handed me my drink, I received no recognition or basic courtesy in return. The interaction made me feel as if I--and by extension, any customer--simply didn't matter. While I understand mistakes happen, the lack of acknowledgment or apology left a lasting impression. I say this not out of bitterness, but because your response asks for understanding, and I believe understanding should be mutual. A sincere effort to address what went wrong and to encourage future visits would have gone a long way. After a year of bad experiences, this spot has a new GM, Misty, who is very courteous and direct in explaining available options and suggesting products if you are unsure what to order. I appreciate the business owner making changes to improve the services. The staff is more knowledgeable and courteous. I returned once and then again to see if it's just a coincidence but even during busy times (which is always), they could provide quality products. The place is not huge but they have seats outside (not ideal for hot weather), but they added more options in their menu. I would consider stopping by here and give your opinion. read more

I really don't like to give negative reviews but yesterday's experience kept living in my head rent free and I tried to brush it off, but it bothered me. I understand it's holidays and there was the Maker's Hive Market going on, so that added to the busy rush. I wanted an afternoon pick me up and decided to get a drink. It was a long line of course and the person manning the register looked like he hated his job. He tried to smile but would turn around to his coworker and talk smack in a low voice. I happen to just order one drink and ask for one customization which is oatmilk because yes my stomach can't handle regular milk. Well, my drink was made quick and I heard my name called. I was confused since other people's before me didn't get their drinks yet. So when I grabbed it I just wanted to read the tag on the drink if it's really mine. Well another worker was looking at me look at the drink, said my name and drink again and I saw him give me a stink eye and looked away. I was not there to offend him but clearly it looked like I did. These two interaction in one experience is what set the tone of why there is a low score. Like I said, I rarely give negative feedback because I understand what it is like to deal with customers, but at least try. I wanted to make sure that my drink is right because I surely don't want to get a drink with whole milk. read more

Happy #ThankYouThursday! Since it's been almost a year since I left some love for this location, I figured it was time. Did you know that all the Coffee Beans are locally owned? I loved when I found that out! Right now, I'm so happy to show my support to this place. They have really been there for me during this crazy quarantine with their easy pickup at The District. When my husband and I are feeling a little bit stir crazy, we head out to The District to walk around and grab a cold drink from Coffee Bean! The staff here is always so kind and takes great care of us. During the closure, they have everything easily set up. At one of their entrances, you can order at the door. They have markings on the ground to show where to stand to keep your distance in line, too. Their staff is also wearing masks and gloves, too, if that eases your mind during this time. Once you place your order, you walk over to the other door where they have a table setup to set your drink once it's ready. If you're in a car, you can literally pull right up and grab it!
