I ordered the pineapple Passionfruit lemonade and it was delicious. It was sweet, and tangy. And as always, i love their bacon gouda breakfast sandwiches. The staff at this location are always so nice. The inside is small, but always clean. There are a few tables for you to sit at and you can charge your devices. I don't however like the parking lot as it is very small, and so hard to get in and out of. Also, they let me sample one of their new drinks. Oleato golden foam iced shaken espresso with toffee-nut, and I'm very impressed. Who knew that cold foam made with olive oil would be so rich and delicious. The espresso was fantastic. I never hopped on the bandwagon of "i'm going to starbucks do you want anything?" but this location changed my mind. I ordered a sandwich on focaccia mozzarella, pesto, tomato and a double chocolatey chip frappe. Yeah, I had been missing out. The inside was modernized with wooden furniture and gold and green accents to keep that starbucks thème going, naturally. What stood out to me though was a barista named Ami knew customers by name, their orders and not only that but chatted with them even more which I thought was such a nice touch. I glanced at her name tag before we got up to leave because I wanted to leave this review to highlight how much I appreciated her service even though she didn't personally serve us BUT THEN when we were able to leave she told us to have a nice day. It's really the little things and it's no wonder there are so many regulars at this location. My go to Starbucks! The baristas are always really friendly. I usually use the mobile ordering when it's available, and when I use this option my drink is always ready to go when I get there! They make a point to refer to me by name (I know this is because it pops up on my mobile order but it still makes me feel special!!) No matter what I order, they always make it taste great. Their parking lot is the worst thing about this location, it's pretty tiny and gets crowded easily. This is why I always opt for drive through. read more

So straight off I'm going to say I'm not a big fan of Starbucks. I really only end up coming here with my wife when she is in need of a coffee fix. This is a pretty standard Starbucks. The one thing to note is that the location is a bit tricky to get in and out of. There isn't much parking, and Brentwood Boulevard can get quite congested. I would recommend only coming here in off hours. If you come during peak times you make get a bit frustrated by the traffic. Since it is a small shop, it is also better to take the drinks and go. I would not recommend planning to do any work or reading here. It works best as a to-go spot. read more

I go through this Starbucks on occasion when I'm Driving through Brentwood. This Starbucks is one of the most frustrating I've encountered. They can never keep up with the volume that comes through there and the parking lot is too small to support the amount of cars waiting in line. You either get stuck in the road in Brentwood which is always busy or if you try and park to go in you will get stuck in your parking spot till the end of existence by the lane of cars waiting in line at the drive through. They also frequently disable their ordering app so you can't order ahead and just pick up. I don't understand why this happens so often they need more staff or something. read more

The neighborhood Starbucks. What can I say? The service has always been nice whether I choose to go through the drive-thru or go inside. Everyone has always been friendly whenever I come in, there's enough parking outside, enough seating area and the place has always been clean and orderly every time I pay this location a visit. I usually stop by here on Saturday mornings before going in to work (whenever I decide to go in slightly later than when I usually do) and there's usually not too many people which is nice. I've always been pleased with how fast the service is and how friendly the staff have constantly been. I am pretty easy and will most likely place the same order over and over but I have always been happy with my food and beverage quality. Also if you are south bound on Brentwood you have to pull into the parking lot and turn around just to get into the drive-thru. Lots of confusion. Typically great service, even when they're training newbies. I also greatly appreciated their choice of overhead music, stringed instruments, after (what else) exhausting pop music. There might be just one thing that bothers me, when one of their employees parks their vehicle nearest the front entrance. Although they have handicap parking some non-handicap folks would appreciate a more convenient walk to the entrance. We have to walk past cars waiting for drive-thru. read more

This is the Starbucks I go to when I'm in the Brentwood area due to convenience to my part time job. I kind of dread coming here due to only being able to pull in going north on Brentwood Blvd, the tiny entrance making it tight for one car to pull out when another pulls in, the small parking lot, and tight drive thru I've scratched my rims on. My husband dropped me off before getting gas since we had to go there from the south side by pulling onto the side street making it impossible for him to turn his large truck around to get into their small drive thru. I ordered a very 'basic' pumpkin scone and iced nonfat pumpkin spice latte (blame the maternity leave and comfort eating) while getting an espresso macchiato for my husband. The scone was delicious as always but I have to be a little critical of the drinks due to me being a barista for five years. My iced latte had syrup all in the bottom which is a pet peeve of mine since syrup cannot be blended once the drink is iced down making it a sugary shock to your tastebuds. Espresso macchiatos seem simple but need a little TLC. There is nothing worse than being handed one that feels heavy before you even taste it. The barista was very busy and left the milk to steam by itself instead taking care to make a nice foam for my macchiato. However, there were two people working the drive thru window that were gossiping while she was busy making drinks. There definitely seems to be more efficient ways to use the staff to make sure the drinks are more timely and made correctly. It's no secret that Starbucks drinks are pricey so it's important that they have the quality to match the taste. I will continue to go to this Starbucks when convenient but my home store is on Grand and Magnolia. read more

Everything from my previous review holds true (copy below), but the service here really is stellar so I had to bump them up another star. The issues I have with the location (small venue, horrible parking design, exorbitant profit margins built into upcharges) are all larger company issues...but on the small side, the staff here really does a fantastic job. I've been in this location enough to see what employees have to deal with. Yes, customer turnover is high, but think about the irritability level of some of those caffeine-addicted customers having to pause in their flurry to get their fix: they want their specific order EXACTLY the way they imagined. Perfectly. Instantly. Even if they didn't say the order correctly (because baristas should also be psychic, too). I've posted up here with my laptop on occasion. I've never seen a barista lose their cool; they're unflappable. They're deft and efficient speeding orders through both the drive-thru and the counter. They know the menu inside & out (and I'm definitely one of those people who asks a bunch of questions so I can order exactly what I want). And they're smiling, calm, and share that soothing vocal timbre reminiscent of a shrink talking their client off a ledge...probably the best quality for a barista working the a.m. hours. I even trusted my last barista, Josiah, to "surprise me" and have me try something new - if you know me in person, you know I like to do exhaustive research and then make a educated, conclusive decision; unless you're one of my inner circle, surprising me is often a recipe for disaster - but Josiah got it right and I have a new favored drink! I didn't expect to write this much about a simple chain coffee shop, but I really do think the staff here is undervalued. The service alone would rate this a 5-star location for detail, consistency, and speed. Unfortunately, the other problems at this location are such an issue that I can still only rate it as 3 stars. Since I referenced it and in case it's no longer available after I post my new review: MY PAST/PREVIOUS REVIEW I like that the baristas know their coffee culture and can answer any questions. Whoever set up this drive-thru, however, is an idiot. If you come from the cross street rather than entering off Brentwood, prepare for some tight finagling (and the blaring horns of irritated, coffee-deprived customers) to get to the lane. And you're going to sneak in a sixty cent surcharge for adding soy milk (no upcharge for dairy) to my coffee? St. Louis Bread Company is a block away with better coffee & no extra fees for those of us avoiding lactose. I won't go out of my way for this one. read more

This Starbucks is just as good as any of the other ones. My main issue with this location is the parking and drive thru situation. Its horrible. You really just have to experience it rather than reading about it. The drive thru line can partially block people in parking spaces from getting out. Its also impossible to turn in to the store from Brentwood south. If you do turn in to the street before Starbucks, it will be almost impossible to turn in to the drive thru lane. All that said, my interactions with the employees has been positive. read more

This location is hell to get in and out of. The drive thru line often extends into the right lane of northbound Brentwood and because of the small parking lot don't even try to park and walk in to the store. You'll be stuck trying to get out of your parking spot. Also, the entrance from Brentwood is narrow enough to cause an issue if someone is trying to pull out at the same time someones exited the drive thru and is trying to get onto Brentwood at the same time. However, the staff here are genuinely friendly and quick to get you on your way. Just beware of getting in and out, it's an accident waiting to happen. read more

Panic attack in a parking lot. I feel like this review is long overdue. Every single time I leave the Brentwood Starbucks I feel like I've been through a battle. Not only is the parking lot a nightmare, making it difficult for the people going in as well as the drive thru, but the service is unbelievably slow, they get orders wrong all of the time, and the staff either doesn't want to wait on you, or wants to talk to you all day. There are problems here. Most people don't have 15+ minutes to dedicate to waiting for coffee! I hate writing negative reviews but being that this is the Starbucks that is literally 1 minute from my house, I've been coming to this location for years and It's only getting worse, this review is justified. Lately I've realized it actually takes less time for me to head to the Rock Hill or Webster Starbucks than to wait on Brentwood. The other locations have me in and out within 5 minutes no matter how long the line (which is awesome!) Brentwood needs to take a cue from their fellow stores and step it up a notch. read more

I always feel like I'm talking to an old friend, even though I typically only go a few times a year (I can't stay away from the Pumpkin spice frap...YUM!) I like that this Starbucks is conveniently located and that they have a drive through. We came here yesterday for the first time. Service was good and the person taking orders was friendly. I had to dock a couple of stars though, because of their tiny parking lot. It's very difficult to get into the drive through line, and then it can be difficult to leave the drive through line because the line is so long. We also seemed to have a pretty long wait in the drive through. Lastly, our drinks were super sweet compared to other locations, like they used extra pumps of syrup. I couldn't finish mine. This can be very problematic if you're inside and come out wanting to leave your parking space......... Other than that, it's your typical Starbucks. This is something of historical significance because I finally got a drink from Starbucks that I liked. It was a major surprise to me when I got a peppermint mocha frappucino from them, and it turned out to be good. My SO and I are spending the holidays in St. Louis, and we went out for dinner, got haircuts and then went to this Starbucks for coffee and to sit and talk for awhile. My peppermint mocha tasted like a peppermint candy bar, so maybe, that's why I liked it. I got a small one because I was really suspect as to what it was going to taste like, but then I was happy with it. I liked that one enough that I will go back and get another one. It's seasonal so they won't have it after the holidays. This Starbucks is rather small inside and has small tables, too, but is quite adequate for what it is. The counter and the pastry case is set up like all the other Starbucks around town. The two workers were very nice and friendly; they provided good service and were helpful. read more

Well, Starbucks is Starbucks...for the most part. I have never had a bad latte here or anything like that. But I am more concerned about the parking lot situation at this particular location. It constantly causes issues that make you think to yourself, "CAN'T THERE BE A BETTER WAY?" And then you cry out in agony. The situation of this Starbucks is that you can only pull into it if you are turning "right." If you are turning left, then you have to turn at a stop light and then pull into the parking lot. Well, this is quite the issue because you are creating a situation where you are pulling head into about everyone else...the entire drive through line...which is so tightly wound up in that tiny parking lot that you can't even swing into a parking spot half the time. Which, for that matter, there aren't that many of. Even writing this review stresses me out. This Starbucks location is also tricky because it is quite small inside, seating-wise. And yet, every business man or woman without an office is determined to come here and take up an entire table to him or herself for a few hours at a time while drinking "H2O" as their cups are labeled. So here is my constructive advice for visiting this location: make sure you are not someone who gets anxious in awkward parking lot situations and if you are planning on coming here to actually have a coffee in the store, beware, there may not be room for you. But, I mean, my favorite White Chocolate Mocha is just as good here as any other Starbucks. read more

This is perhaps the best Starbucks I've been to. Very energetic and friendly Baristas and the selection of food was great! Unlike other Starbucks I've been to recently, the drink was perfect. Now the not-so-good...parking is an issue and the Internet is rather slow. These two items would have likely generated a 3 or 4 star rating at the average Starbucks but the people who work here made up for the shortcomings of corporate. One star because the service is slow and getting there is very frustrating. 9:00 on a weekday, 10:30 on a Saturday, The drive through line will be eight cars deep. This line extends all the way to Brentwood Boulevard and lies between the customers who want to park and the front parking spaces - including the handicap ones. Driveway is so narrow that there is no room to maneuver into the other parking spaces and you have to communicate in hand signals with the drivers in the drive-through line to give you enough room to angle your car in or out. The speed of the service inside always confuses me. One Saturday morning I was the only customer in line, there were five people working (including two on the drive-through), and it still took five minutes for me to order and another 15 for them to pour a cold brew. I think my advice is to stay in the drive-through line. Even with the eight car wait I can get through there much quicker and I don't have to stand in the drive through traffic to make a big enough space to back my car out of the spot when I am done. read more

Visiting this city for the weekend. After a long day of wedding showers and shopping for wedding attire, we landed here before heading back to the hotel. Not only were our specially ordered drinks made to perfection, they were also HOT..unlike some places that deliver them lukewarm. We asked our Barista for directions to a nearby fast food joint. She patiently gave them to us in such a way that we found it with no problem. By the time she was confident that we knew where we were going, both of our drinks were standing ready. We left with an outpouring of well wishes to enjoy our stay. The coffee shop was clean and well laid out and offered a wide selection of coffee-themed items.
