This Starbucks is a little more laid back without all the noise, blaring music, and the employees here are nice and friendly. I can actually study here or read a good book with my favorite beverage. As a Burbank resident, this is my go-to Starbucks. Service is excellent. The manager here, Travis, is a wonderful manager. Store is always clean and organized. I love this Starbucks, drinks & food are always consistently amazing. However, they have customers that smoke on the patio and very close by. Close enough that the smoke seeps in through the front door along with infiltrating the patio. There is also a panhandling problem and an issue with at least one customer who thinks they own the place ... saving seats, etc. I believe Starbucks is apprehensive to deal with these types of customers because of what happened a couple of years ago. Because of this one customer I'll never return. It's disappointing that one person, that Starbucks is afraid to confront, ruins it for others. read more

Came here to grab a coffee and study on a Tuesday night. The tables are tiny and the space feels cramped. The lights outside shine through the windows and right into your eyes. Ordered two lattes and they both tasted awful and burnt. Just as we were thinking about staying the air conditioning kicked on when it was already freezing, and that was it. I might try this location again - but I'll probably avoid it. read more

I love this Starbucks and MOST of the employees are really cool but there are a few, one in particular with absolutely ZERO customer service ability and no personality whatsoever is Judy. Waiting at the counter for someone to come take my order and Judy walks over... no hello, no hi, no words at all, she just stands there like a speedbump looking seemingly upset that she has to actually do some work. Next person same thing.... and it doesn't stop here, she not only sucks behind the counter but is actually worse when it comes to making coffee... on the few occasions when this individual has made my drink it always turns out worse that when anyone else does it... how can someone be that bad at all aspects of their job? I think she'd be great as a DMV employee as she already has the attitude and the DMV doesn't require you to be particularly good at anything other than having a massive attitude for no reason... I see a match made in heaven. I come into the store often and hope for a different interaction every time. I do not like coming here but it is close to work. The partners here are very cold, do not make eye contact and do not make you feel welcome at all. Thier is a certain standard that you expect from Starbucks considering the price you pay, the expected quality of the product and the culture it represents. Management should really talk to the baristas about making customer feel valued. Maybe a smile would improve the overall experience but it seems they cannot do that. I am very disappointment by the lack of community and warmth that this store gives out. Very poor customer service and no desire in making customers happy. read more

I don't have anything against Starbucks, in fact, generally I love Starbucks. However, this specific location is just a disgrace to the company. My friend and I had planned on having a nice and enjoyable morning by stopping and splurging on our favorites. However, everything we ordered was crafted incorrectly. I ordered a venti pink drink w no strawberry inclusions.....and what did I get? Extra strawberry inclusions. My friend ordered a venti mango dragonfruit, no water light ice. What stud SHE GET?? A mango dragonfruit with EXTRA WATER, EXTRA ICE! Are you kidding?! I was so over it at that point that I didn't even say anything to them about it. They knew in their hearts they had messed up our drinks and that makes me sick. Never going back. read more

Most of workers are very nice here. In a previous review, I wrote some nasty things about Curry Anne (is that her name?) based on something I heard she said about me to another customer -- this ended up being completely made-up (person who told me admitted it). I can't explain how bad I feel, but I have learned more to not jump to judgement on others. Along with Curry Anne, Chanel, Jaime, Anthony and others work very hard in order to make customers feel comfortable. They seem organized, and the line goes through pretty fast. I came to this Starbucks location in the afternoon. I am sure its peak is in the morning during everyone's commute to work so I did not experience an overly crowded store or a super long line to order. My friend ordered a drink and later I decided that I also wanted a drink so I used my app to order. Both drinks were finished within a reasonable time of ordering - definitely under 10 minutes for both. We tried the new tea infusions. My friend got the strawberry green tea and I got the pineapple black tea. Both were pretty good, but I have tried all three now and the strawberry green tea has been the best consistently! The biggest downside to this location is that there is minimal seating for the size of the store. I feel like it is possibly to minimize congestion and make room for a long line as well as for customers to stand and wait for their orders. read more

It would have been a nice place to relax at if its employees would have been cleaning the tables. It's now open only for carry-outs, and I am still concerned about my safety. We're told the chain closed down its sitting areas for our safety, yet I feel unsafe picking up my orders here if the employees aren't wearing face masks (like they are doing in some local deli stores), knowing they haven't been required to be tested for COVID-19. read more

The little girls that were working the 2:00 shift on Saturday 11/10 had shitty attitudes, and haven't quite grasped the concept of customer service. Cashier - rude. But I can see how anyone with that much eye make can be disgruntled. Barista - rudEST. Handed me my hot drink with the lid covered in over spilt coffee. When I asked for napkins, to do HER job) she threw them on the counter. Finally, I confronted her and told her it be nice to get a clean lid next time. Couldn't give a shit. Honestly one of the worst starbucks I've been to. Slow staff.. incorrect orders given... this review is not based off 1 visit.. unfortunately it's my closest starbucks to work. I usually put in mobile orders and get there only to find out what I ordered isnt available. Common sense would be to call the customer and let them know. So when they get there you have something ready for them... not have them wait 15 minutes just to get something else made. Making people late for work or wherever they are going. My drink orders are pretty simple and half the time its incorrect. I'm pretty fed up. Time to start making coffee, tea and breakfast at home. read more

You can find me here everyday, as soon as I wake up from a long night of insomnia. I know this is the coffee shop that many people hate, because they beat dolphins, responsible for faking the moon landings or they forced mom and pop out of business.. I dont care. I travel alot and I like my coffee strong, and I dont like taking chances. Starbucks always delivers, and I dont mind paying extra for it. This is my location, and a short walk everyday here I get my fix. The location has its regulars for sure, and there is always a gang of people out front playing cards, or typing on their laptops. Its a pretty busy location, but its never too bad. They have fixed some annoying things recently, like moving the sugar/milk bar away from the cramp waiting corner. The only negative thing I have found from this location is that it seems like they are always brewing more coffee, and you have to wait a few minutes.. yeah a coffee shop out of coffee is silly, but it's always fresh, so that cancels that complaint out. For the most part this place has a great friendly staff, and its usually clean and stocked with my favorite sugar substitutes. I really wish the iced coffee was the same price as regular coffee, because most of the time I just want to say: "hey just give me a cup of ice and a large coffee", and save a $1.. but im that lazy. They have hot sandwiches now, but I havent tried them yet. I think its how they display them that keeps me from trying them..kinda creepy plastic looking sandwiches. I really wish they had some NON FAT treats, as their LOW FAT treats are still really high in fat. Their yogurt parfaits are a nice delicious treat, and their fruit cocktail most of the time is fresh. So I have been using the Starbucks app to order my drink early so I can just pick it up before I jam to work. Isn't the whole reason of pre ordering your drink is to by pass the line? On more than one occasion I would see 1 of 2 things... 1-it would be 10 minutes since my app order and I would be waiting for my drink when I arrived. To make matters worse, people who were in line were getting their drinks before mine! Or 2- my drink would be on the side already made but no one is checking if the customer has arrived so I continue to wait until I catch someone's eye. Well yesterday was the straw that broke the camels back. I arrived 15 min after I ordered my drink and I see a lot of folks waiting by the rear for their drinks. I see my drink, hallelujah, it's made. I wait for someone as I try to make eye contact with one of them. You can tell they are trying not to look up! They are all looking down and when saying a name and pushing the drink out they still look down. I finally break and say "excuse me". No one looks at me. I say it again and a gentlemen with a mustache looks at me like "rude". No, you're rude. The barista, a woman with dark brown curly-ish hair in a ponytail, seems like a manager, in her mid thirties.........she was no better. On more than one occasion she ignores customers while she jokes or chats with her co workers. There was this one employee who was great. He was tall, light brown hair, maybe early twenties and was always kind. First one to say hello and as you leave a legit " have a great day". I haven't seen him in a while and that's too bad since he was the only star employee. This is the only Starbucks I've had a problem with. I'll be returning to the one on alameda near Ralph's or western. I like those places. read more

This is definitely my favorite Starbucks in town. The way the staff interacts with the customers creates a sense of belonging that I find rare in most chain stores. Keriana and Caroline served me when I was there, and they did a terrific job. They make a great team and seem to truly enjoy working with their customers. And, needless to say, the coffee was excellent. Pumpkin spice lattes are non-negotiable for me in October. Next time you want one, hit up this Starbucks! read more

I've spent countless hours working on projects at this location. The staff is extra courteous and very efficient - they work fast and friendly. The condiment bar tends to always be well stocked. However, this location does suffer from a typical Starbucks complaint - they're not very good about keeping the tables wiped down unless requested. 8 small tables, a bar that seats 3 and a larger, square handicap accessible table, plus five tables outside under three umbrellas. Most of the indoor tables have the built in Powermat charging station and they actually have loaner charging dongles that you can use for free, which is a real plus! I think what I like most about this location is that there is one long wall of windows and a second smaller wall, so there's a ton of natural light in here, making the atmosphere much more bright and uplifting. There are ten parking spaces (plus one handicapped) dedicated for this particular strip mall building, which containing three businesses. It's not a lot of spaces during the coffee rushes, but the Pavilions parking is off this specific lot and there's plenty of parking there - and, as a courtesy, that's where I tend to park when I plan on staying for hours at a time. I think the biggest drawback to this location is the bathroom (and that's where we're going to lose a star). It tends to be a bit rough around the edges. The under seat of the toilet is just gross and the room doesn't seem very well ventilated - which is more obvious when one of their unbathed customers who seems to frequent this location (not me) leaves it a bit "stenchy". Overall, I'm pretty pleased with this location and tend to come here more often than the other local Starbucks - of which there are many to choose. Thumbs up for clean bathroom and no need to ask for a key. It's unisex though. Its parking is small but since it's in a mall of sorts there's lots of places to park nearby; with shade even. I had a drink here called the Tazo iced chai tea latte and wow was it horrible. So bad that even though it was 101 degrees today I still had to walk back to Starbucks to get an exchange. It was that bad. Those who like this drink really need to re-evaluate your lifestyle and tea choices. Blegh! Went and got a Tazo green tea that tasted ten times better. read more

Fast and friendly service every time! I live in the neighborhood and this is my go to Starbucks store. I've never had an issue here, even when it's busy and the line is practically out the door I've never waited more than 5 minutes. I've only been here a couple times, but each time I haven't had any issues. The location is clean and the baristas are friendly. :) I came in the other morning and found a pretty hefty line, but that didn't stop the baristas from getting to everyone quickly and efficiently! Ergh, you know I like my Starbucks, but tonight they failed me. Ordered my usual Green Iced Tea -- arrive at this location, and it's not ready. Ok, I have time to use the restroom. After that, it's still not ready. Barista can sense I'm waiting for something, and I tell him my order. "Oh, we're out of green tea." It happens. He refers me to the cashier. "Yeah, um, we're out. Are you dead set on green tea?" "I've got a train to catch, so I can't really wait for something else." "So you want a refund?" So a note for corporate - you should alert folks when out of something, on the app. That way we can pre-order an alternate or cancel. Maybe that's coming - that's cool. Like I said, that happens. But in store -- customer service is key. "Sorry [yes, apologize], can we make something really quick for you? [acknowledge you care]" and then "Don't worry, we'll refund your account." [be proactive, because asking if I want a refund for a drink I didn't get qualifies as a "Duh!" question. read more

First of all, I'd like to thank my friends for always keeping me in Starbucks because for the most part, I'm able to come just about every day from gift cards and that's saying something. Now, back to the review. This is now my go to location most days because although their specific parking lot is small, it is adjacent to the big one for Pavillions and some locations keep you from going just due to parking challenges. I'm a fan of Starbucks in general and when they don't have holiday drinks, I am a grande soy caramel macchiatto (sp?) kind of girl and on rough days graduate to the venti soy 3 shot version. I have been enjoying the holiday drinks and love the caramel brulee and gingerbread latte drinks, but alas... they will be leaving soon. I find that most Starbucks are busy and generally have a pretty long line, especially in the morning, but it goes pretty fast at this location. There a generally a lot of people who are sitting at the tables with their laptops and I rarely see open seating inside, but since I'm a "to go" customer, that aspect doesn't really bother me. I am still a bit disappointed that they are now charging extra for soy despite being a gold member and some other coffee establishments nearby don't charge extra and also have almond milk, but not disappointed enough to stay away. This is a great Starbucks!! The staff is super friendly and I have never had a bad experience here! (I've gone here A LOT! lol) They are also super quick and accurate. I have gotten a few wrong orders here but they always fix it right away and apologize like crazy so I don't mind! There is always plenty of parking because they share a huge parking lot with the center. There isn't always parking in the small section they have but if you don't mind walking a few feet there is always parking! The bathroom is always clean and smells nice but it is unisex just to let you know. There is almost always seating. They have nice indoor seating along with nice outdoor seating. There isn't people there just mooching the internet which is nice. Alright here is the downer. It is close to a school so around 2-4 I highly suggest avoiding this place because it is crawling with obnoxious kids with no parental supervision. I know this isn't Starbucks' fault but it can be sort of annoying and it can be a super long wait! During this time I usually just hit up the one inside Pavillions and take it to go. It's also super busy in the morning but that can be expected for a coffee shop chain and they handle it really well! read more

Open Christmas Day! Baristas here are very nice and efficient; lines go pretty quick. Parking is ample as they share the lot with other businesses in the shopping center. There's also a Starbucks inside the Pavillions (FYI: Pavillions Starbucks don't accept Starbucks GC). Overall, I like this Starbucks. It's cozy, clean and has character. I'm not a coffee drinker but I do enjoy my tea. And I got a couple of Starbucks GC as gifts so why not. read more
