Once you get into the swing of things and understand this location is busy with little parking, then you will be ok. I park further away and walk. There is also little standing room. Staff here are amazing. Every single employee engaged in conversation with me. My iced espresso was delicious. Ordering on app is key. Drinks are layed out on the counter in a matter of minutes. I was taking a new route on San Fernando Road, as the 5 Freeway was closed Northbound. I happen across this lonely Starbucks as I was driving into the Burbank shopping District, so gave it a try. The barista was really informative, telling me about the new Chai Tea ingredients coming tomorrow, which sounded exciting. The drink and foods I ordered were ready in about two minutes, without much wait. I also came accross the new 1971 Coffee bags, and will likely try it, once there are more reviews about the taste and flavor. My morning was made at this Starbucks! Just an overall friendly staff. They've had nice renovations here too, very clean. Good morning! as you walk in, friendly banter about your drink and quick! Another patron walked across the store and tapped me on the shoulder..."I just had to say I love your shirt!" It was my equality shirt! I felt like I was walking on sunshine leaving. There was no one ahead of us and we were in and out fast. Side note - I gave up Starbucks last year just to take a break because it was a regular habit. But my partner got a gift card for his birthday and decided to treat this morning....we make coffee at home more regularly now but this experience definitely made me want to frequent this location again soon! I think it's kind of busy sometimes at this location. The drinks are also random I don't think I've had it made the same way or taste the same way twice. What I do notice is they use very little ice my drink is very watered down tasting. I don't experience that at other Starbucks so I'm not sure why that happens here. Sometimes the drinks aren't made the way I want but I guess I could always send them back but I don't I just take them. Friends since I asked for a whipped cream no whip cream. I mean they look at the label you could see it on there I don't know. I used to come to this Starbucks before when my company office was nearby but since we moved I haven't been back until now. The plaza where this Starbucks is at does get busy and it can be difficult to find a parking spot after lunchtime. Since I came in the morning today, they were not busy at all. This Starbucks is small inside with no seating inside but have limited outdoor seating. I got my wife her iced blonde vanilla latte and got iced water for myself. The location is easy since it's in the same parking lot as CVS and Ralph's. There is usually a parking spot available outside but if not then there is one close around the corner. I love Starbucks but sometimes I feel like their service is a hit or a miss. Last Saturday after a long day in Ikea, I came to this branch without knowing what to order. The Baristas were very friendly and I decided that Since they have their new drink for the summer, the Summer Berry, I decided to try it. Every single time I've been to this Starbucks they ALWAYS manage to get my drink wrong. I repeat it twice sometimes three times and yet the barista on bar manages to eff it up. I get an iced venti WHITE mocha with an added shot and no whip. I always end up getting mocha and then my drinks has to be remade and the additional shot is never added. I was a Starbucks barista for 6 years! SIX YEARS! I know the difference between 2 shots, 3 shots and 4 shots of espresso. Basically I'm paying for an additional shot and not getting it. I'm not one to argue with baristas because I know what it's like so I just leave with my shitty drink in hand and call it a day. I read some of the reviews and tips before I ordered from this location. One of the tips stated to order online, and that is exactly what I did. There were about 3 people waiting for their order. I did not have to wait for my mobile order. My order came out perfect! All of the employees were VERY friendly. I felt horrible for forgetting to place a tip on my order. People with such a friendly upbeat personality deserves to receive a tip. Next time I'm in that area, I'll definitely be making up for the time that I forgot to leave them a tip. read more

Im so tired of being told "you did not order that" Background: I work in retail, more specifically I am a groomer. I know people suck and systems suck and they screw up the day sometimes. So keep that in mind with this review. About a month ago, I went inside to order a bagel and cream cheese. I got the bagel and had asked for my cream cheese and the instant reply was "you didnt oder cream cheese" FIRST OFF, who orders a dry a$$ toasted bagel ALONE? There are people out there, but most dont. I had said, "Yes i did." She said "No, its not on the ticket." Then, defending myself, told her, "I didnt write the ticket, but I know I ordered cream cheese." She ARGUED with me then says "Well we dont have any, so it doesnt matter anyway," then turned around and ignored me. In all honesty, I left cussing in the air. Fast forward a few weeks later, giving this starbucks one last ditch effort, my friend mobile order 2 drinks and 1 food. There was 1 food and 1 drink. I had said, "Excuse me, I have another drink I ordered." The response, "Let me check the system." Never in starbucks history have I heard this before. I said "ok" and waited. She says "Im sorry, its not in our system sooo....." And I was so mad I just walked out. I came back after about 10 and decided they were either going to give my friend a refund or make my drink. I showed proof of my friends mobile order and the label on our drink said " Order 1 of 3" I approached management that day and her response to this was "Well someone may have stolen your drink and our system is a little screwy." I explained, that wasnt the problem. It was the fact that, I am always told I didnt order that when I have proof that I did. As a groomer, if a client tells me "I asked for a nail grind." I dont say "NO YOU DIDNT." I apologize, so the seevice and move on. Management must have changed or something because these are only the latest incidences. Just awful. I spent 23.75 here. They not only messed up my order, but it took 10 minutes to get it. On worker looked like he just roll out off bed. I will never go back there again. I understand the mask mandate, although don't totally agree since I'm vaccinated. However, what good is wearing a mask when I go into the store to pick up my online order, to find a stranger lifting my cup with his palm on the top of the lid and his fingers all around the sides of the lid, that I'm supposed to drink from? This is the third time I've walked into a Starbucks to find a stranger putting their hands all over the lids on my drinks. Starbucks you need to think about placing the orders behind the counter and stop letting strangers touch the drinks of other people. I'm sure their must be some health codes against this. The lady at the register actually asked whether I had a d in my name (I don't) which made me feel cared about as a human and the lady on bar double checked how we would like our drinks made since the label left a small amount of ambiguity so that she could ensure our drinks were made correctly the first time. I so appreciate both women's attention to detail and kindness! 3 stars for the location and how cramped it was. The square tables made for a very cramped pick up area with people almost bumping into us and strollers almost running over our feet. Perhaps one fewer table near the drink pick up or rectangular tables less wide than the square tables would suit this location better. Our lattes were perfect and our DSB open face had the bacon cooked thoroughly (not undercooked the way the bacon can be when it is warmed closed). This Starbucks ALWAYS give the worst service. Kendall is literally the worst employee. He always has such a rude and gross attitude. Especially when Taking your order. Doesn't listen, ALWAYS gets the order wrong and then manages to have a nasty attitude when you tell him your order is wrong. When you ask to remake it they don't. They just try and fix it which ends up tasting like garbage and they don't do anything about it. Also he never gets the size right. I ask for a tall and always get a grande so he can charge me more. My husband went in to use the restroom and waited about 5 minutes for the person in there already before he was able to go in. Almost as soon as he entered, someone started banging on the door and yelling that they needed to go to the restroom and that he needed to get out. He figured maybe there was a bathroom emergency and they just really needed to go, so he hurried to get out. Between him trying to go to the restroom and washing his hands, this person knocked on the door and screamed at him another 4 times. He answered her a few times but this did nothing and she continued yelling. When he was able to vacate the restroom, which was maybe 3 minutes tops from when he entered, he exited only to find out that it was an employee!! She was apparently on a break and was not wearing a name tag, but she was maybe in her 50's. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior. He was shaking he was so upset by this encounter and I am livid! If your store needs more bathrooms, that is something that needs to be addressed on your end but how dare your employees scream at a customer for using a restroom! We just left a hospital consult and this is the last thing either of us should have had to deal with. Corporates response? We've shared your comments with the store. Wow, super helpful. read more
