Love this CB location! The team here is incredibly friendly and welcoming. They also always nail it with the drinks, and I find that they do a better job than a lot of other coffee shops. My triple espresso ice blended drinks consistently come out tasting the same and always tasting exactly like I want them to! Also, they hand out samples of their baked goods every once in a while, so you might get lucky with a free tasty bite! The cafe always has seating available and a great wifi connection; there's always at least one person on their laptop, which makes me feel like locals are comfortable hanging out here for a while and getting work done. It definitely has a cozy, classic early 2000s style coffee shop vibe, which I love! It can get a little busy sometimes, but be patient; the cafe never gets too crowded or so busy that you wouldn't wanna stay. There's also free parking just down the block on Magnolia, too, which is great since you have to pay to park on the street around this area! This Coffee Bean location is my favorite coffee shop in Burbank. They make the best drinks. I never had any issues with my drinks. They always make my drinks perfect. I have tried different drinks from the menu and always tasted great. For service, I would say that the employees are really friendly. Barista apologized because there was a delay in preparing one of the drinks which was a very nice gesture. This location has both indoor and outdoor seating area. I like the outdoor seating area because it is overlooking the street and mall. For parking, there is metered parking and public parking near by. read more

I love the hot tea lattes from Coffee Bean & Tea leaf. I usually don't see them listed on their menus but if you ask the barista, they have a smaller menu showing the different green/black/ herbal tea options that they offer. Typically I think they taste very similar even when I pick a different tea type- maybe because of the vanilla powder they use? This time I ordered the Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearl hot tea latte to try and it's delicious! It's a very light and comforting drink with just the right amount of sweetness! However I don't really taste much tea flavor but it's still yummy regardless. read more

It could be the rose-tinted lens of a regular, but I've grown very fond of this little cafe on the corner of downtown Burbank. There's free parking just a short walk away, and it's well worth it for the service alone. The staff are very friendly, and have more than once done more than they needed to ensure that I had a safe and comfortable space for me to do my writing. The coffee is solid as well, and is regularly cheaper than I expect, since they offer deals through the app on what feels like a weekly basis. My only gripe is that it may come to garner enough attention that I start struggling to find a spot by a charger! I'd name names, but I'd hate to leave out the ones I haven't gotten to know yet, as they all seem like great people, and effective workers. read more

Stopped in on a Thursday for an old standard, the no sugar added ice blended mocha. I remember when I was little, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf was the first place that served these coffee drinks that are so prevalent today. Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf manages to stand out among the rest with their unique flavor and I love that they have no added sugar option. After reading the reviews about the poor customer service, I have to say, I didn't experience any poor customer service during my visit! My server was friendly and accommodating and everything was just great about our little stop in for the night. The ambiance of the little coffee shop was comforting and fun and a nice relaxing way to cap off an evening. My only regret was that I shared my drink and the sharing was a little bit uneven because my partner drank most of it! Next time I'm getting my own and that's my advice to you too. I guess a lot has changed in 8 years. Coffee is good but their customer service SUCKSSSS. especially at this location, I have not encountered anyone nice. On the register or the baristas, they all have an attitude. And they talk about you in front of you. I asked for a straw and I was treated as if I did something wrong or annoyed them. SMH. RUDE! The location I visited is by the corner of San Fernando & Magnolia, rite by the Burbank Mall. The woman who took my order was Donovan. I cannot say enuf nice things abt this wonderful employee!!!!!! She was most helpful, polite, friendly, competent, & professional. She knew the menu items well & made some recommendations that I chose. For me personally, the drink was too sweet, and in the future I'll ask for less sugar/syrup/flavouring so I can enjoy the jasmine flavour more along with less ice.
