I have been here at this location a few years ago but I never wrote a review looks like. While in the are with my nephews we stopped by to get coffee. It was a busy afternoon on Veterans Day. This location is spacious and has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Nice ambiance. The coffee here is ok, I got two shots of expresso over ice with a side of milk to add to my taste. My son and nephew got cold brew that didn't taste like coffee at all but iced milk I would say. Cause I did take a sip. We had left already otherwise I would probably return it. Customer service was not friendly at all, just because we took a few minutes to decide what to order the girl at the counter wasn't thrilled, there was only one customer behind us ...not ten.... Overall it's an ok place to hang out, study or take a short break. They have pastries and some other snacks. read more

I've tried their black tie coffee before and I remember it being the perfect balance of strong & sweet but upon trying it again today, it was way too sweet & tasted watered down; it had absolutely 0 coffee flavor. I must have passed by this location a billion times and somehow I never managed to check it out. It was convenient today since I was doing banking in the area. It was a great place to stop by, relax, grab a coffee, recharge. I love their outdoor area, with a beautiful patio, nice tables, colorful flower pots, nicely decorated, perfect to enjoy a coffee at and watch the activity on Ventura Blvd. Good customer service, my iced latte was good, their pastry selection isn't too shabby for this kind of coffee-shop (I am a tough customer). Street parking, there's a 2 hour free lot near by. Great location in Studio City to meet a friend at, catch up, take a break, slow down, watch the world go by while sipping on your coffee or tea (their selection is pretty good). read more

Great customer service, spacious, with its own parking lot. Had oatmeal with many toppings, made so fast. It was a big, filling serving. Their snack display was full but I resisted unhealthy goodies. My iced tea had more caffeine than I expected but it tasted fine. It's a little loud. It's relaxing with comfy cushioned seats in one corner. It's surprising they close so early at 5:30pm on a Saturday. This is LA! People like their coffee and lounging at all hours even if few people were there when I went. read more

I'm a drip coffee person, and most of the options in LA I find to be quite sour, but Peet's always hits! This location specifically is great. The staff are always very kind, lines never too long, and you're never waiting too long for your coffee. Only downside is the parking is minimal and can be filled up because they share it with alot of other businesses. I used to come here almost daily about five years ago and the staff was amazing back then. Super friendly and always greeting everyone. Today, I decided to take my husband and I said "good morning" pretty loudly and not one employee acknowledged it. Fair, they were busy with the morning rush but no one should be too busy to ignore their customers and or acknowledge their presence. Granted I was there to pick up but still, it left a poor taste in my husband's mouth. I was embarrassed for raving about the place and "how cool and nice the staff is". I remember there was always someone making sure you had everything and if you needed a sleeve or a cup holder. They would even ask if you wanted a Tapatio sauce packet. This "dream team" wouldn't have noticed if I took everything from the pick up section. The Mr. won't return. Me, maybe. Tip: Acknowledging your customers goes a long way. read more

As always the coffee is superb but now it's just a 7-11 with good coffee. Pastries are worse than terrible. They used to get their pastries from Rockenwagner but now the are practically inedible. Love this Peet's coffee! The staff is always really friendly here and whenever I order in person or on their mobile app, they are always quick to make my order and it's always accurate. The cafe is often busy and it can be difficult to find seating, but they do have a nice patio that often has an open table. The parking is very easy in their lot and it's easy to spot on the busy Ventura Blvd. I love their alternative milk options and am so happy they carry Ripple milk now. read more

I stopped by this Coffee shop while waiting for wife across the street because she was getting her face cleaning. I saw this place before but didn't have a chance to come visit but today was the day. I crossed the street so be warn that the lights does take a while to change so you can cross. This place has a small parking lot of you want to park here. When I walked in, I looked at their food menu and went with the Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. The price of the sandwich is pretty high for a little sandwich so be aware. It didn't take long for my sandwich to come out and I thought it was good besides being little. I have been coming here for over 2 years now on a fairly consistent basis, most of the time ordering online through their app while I'm on my way to work. For starters, they are super speedy at getting your order completed. I live less than 5 minutes away, and even when they are busy, my order is always ready when I get there. And they can be pretty busy! But recently I've been coming in to read or do work on my time off, and the atmosphere is great. The people behind the counter are really awesome and friendly. I've worked in coffee shops for years, and they are some of my favorite baristas ever. As far as the drinks go, I've always enjoyed them much more than Starbucks. My literal ONLY complaint is that they don't have soy milk, but I've come around to enjoying oat a lot more. I must give a huge shout out for Beth, Connor, Caleb, and Chrysanthemum for being such superb baristas. And prepared! Just as I was walking in right now, a bee flew into my face on Ventura Blvd and stung my cheek. I've never been stung by a bee before, and it hurt like hell. They immediately got me ice, Beth pulled out a first aid kit and gave me a Sting Relief pre-moistened towelette (alcohol and lidocaine), and they expressed a lot of concern. If I was ever gonna get stung on the cheek by a bee on a Friday morning, I'm glad it happened in front of Peet's! On the food, drink, and service side of things: I had an almond butter and flaxseed oat bar that was scrumptious, and a small iced coffee with a splash of soy/almond/oat milk (don't know which -- I asked Connor to surprise me). Hey Peet's! Guess what? A flat white is Ristretto with specific style of MICROFOAM poured in slowly in to keep a creamy consistency throughout. It is not "a latte with microfoam on top". That would be A LATTE. Ya don't need to argue the point either. "That's how Peet's does it" doesn't makes it a flat white. Steady as she goes. Rock steady. At a big shopping mall they refer to the major department stores at opposite ends as anchors, no doubt due to the legacy they have built up. That's very true of this brand and this location. There is a more well known brand and plenty of new kids that are popular in our coffee culture, on Ventura or over in Silverlake, Highland Park or whatever spot has the latest "it" vibe. But, at Peet's it's about, and has been, quality, consistency and comfort. They do coffee proper. Plenty of excellent blends and batches to choose from. Their pastry selection is bountiful and loaded with flavor. This is a great spot to just kick it. Can we kick it? Yes we can! In addition to meters on the street they have free garage parking all the way in the back shared by the other businesses in the complex. The employees are super efficient and good at what they do. I've somehow begun frequenting this Peet's a lot more over the holiday season, than I ever have before. Service has been outstanding! And I don't toss that word around lightly, the crew here really is on their A Game. 5 STAR! I've been ordering the holiday spice oat latte (hot- but iced once) I always get it with half the sweetener since I'm not a big sweet drink person and it's always tasty. I'm in and out in no time and service is consistently fast and friendly. I walk here but there's a private parking lot and metered street parking out front if needed. read more

We were walking in the neighborhood and saw the Peet's. I decided to mobile order to avoid going inside. I ordered (2) lattes, (1) blueberry muffin, and (1) almond croissant. My order was ready and the coffee was very hot, but apparently, they were out of croissants. I settled with the blueberry muffin, though would have preferred a credit, they insisted I pick something else. I went with another muffin knowing my croissant was a few cents more. I know I sound nitpicky with dollars and cents, but hey, we're in a pandemic and one of us is unemployed, so I like to save where I can. The moral of this story, just go inside and order, then wait outside until your order is ready. At least you will know what's available when you are inside. read more

Such a great place with plenty seating - there is always a place to sit. All of the workers are really great and I feel like they always go out of their way to get the drink right. The cortado is awesome - i think possibly the best around . I get mine with oat milk and lately I've been on to matcha latte with oat and the quality here is among the very best as well. I was in this morning and the Manager told me to find a new coffee shop and leave. When I asked if I was 86, she said yes. When I asked if she had the authority to do that, she said yes, " I'm the manager". Why? Because I ordered my regular coffee that usually takes a few minutes to be served. When few minutes went buy she came over and I said I had a " large dark roast ". She said you have to wait it's not ready yet. I said I'm in an hurry you can give me anything that's ready. She then said that this location doesn't work like that I had to wait. I said but usually I come in and the cashier pours the coffee after I pay for it. She said again that this location doesn't work like that and I should " find a new coffee shop". I asked if she had the authority and she said yes. I laughed and told her good thing I was not nasty to you. I Smiled thanked her and left. I go to this location everyday around 9:30Am before going to my office, Monday through Friday. Always the same order for the past year or so. The staff and manager are really good. Friendly and very fast. Caring and great customer service. But today is Sunday and it was my first time going in on Sunday morning. This Manager was very anger. read more

Peet's coffee is our go to coffee shop no matter where we are or what we are in the mood for. It just hits different!! We've been fans of Peet's since forever and have been to literally almost every location in California. Peet's in SF is equivalent to Starbucks in LA, one on every corner and I just wish there were more around here! I love their iced and hot caramel lattes and macchiatos and obsessed with how their iced lattes have foam on top. The service here is either really great or kind of stand offish depending on how busy they are but that's understandable since they do get really busy. read more

I like coming to this location because it's not too crowded and the staff are very friendly. There are lots of seating where can sit and enjoy your drink. The only drawback is the parking. There are limited number of parking spaces shared among the businesses. The other option is to park on Ventura Blvd where you have pay the meter. read more

The staff here is quite rude, and their signage is lacking. A man wearing a literal bath towel just stood in the walkway just inside the door for quite a while and wouldn't let me through. When I squeezed by, there was no indication of where to go for mobile orders that was visible. I stood around like an idiot waiting for someone to help me. Towel Guy cut in front of me and took an eternity talking to the cashier. Finally, a woman came out from the back and engaged a DoorDash/Postmates/whatever driver who had come in after me. She turned her attention to me and very rudely told me that I was in the wrong spot--pickups were in the far corner. How silly of me for not seeing the small sign right next to the table when there were huge shelving units between me and said table...as well as people. By now my food was cold. Never mind the fact that I still had a 10-minute drive home. It never stood a chance. The plant-based sandwich is great. I'm not sure it's worth going back to this location though. read more
