Who doesn't like a good Peet's coffee! My go to is the horchata Cold brew latte! It's is rich in flavor and always hits the spot! I highly recommend that you give Peet's a try! They have a couple of locations maybe you're lucky enough to have one close by! Next time you drive by one don't hesitate to stop by.

Although they still charge for milk alternatives, Pete's coffee gets points for having vegan options that don't suck! However, I've only had the breakfast sandwich; pair it with an iced horchata latte (oatmilk based), don't forget the hot sauce!- it makes for a great breakfast! More Peet's should be should be added throughout the LA region, but they should also keep the options comin' For more vegan recommendations follow my instagram @ Soybienvegana

I stopped by this Coffee shop while waiting for wife across the street because she was getting her face cleaning. I saw this place before but didn't have a chance to come visit but today was the day. I crossed the street so be warn that the lights does take a while to change so you can cross. This place has a small parking lot of you want to park here. When I walked in, I looked at their food menu and went with the Bacon, egg and cheese sandwich. The price of the sandwich is pretty high for a little sandwich so be aware. It didn't take long for my sandwich to come out and I thought it was good besides being little. I ate my sandwich inside of the coffee shop and they have a decent amount of table and they also have an outdoor patio area too. The customer service was great with me.

The patrons are very loud. Why is the music So much Louder, obnoxious and annoying. Doesn't the corporate office offer local stores any playlists? The din is unbearable.

Cool baristas hard at work and still cheerful!

I must give a huge shout out for Beth, Connor, Caleb, and Chrysanthemum for being such superb baristas. And prepared! Just as I was walking in right now, a bee flew into my face on Ventura Blvd and stung my cheek. I've never been stung by a bee before, and it hurt like hell. They immediately got me ice, Beth pulled out a first aid kit and gave me a Sting Relief pre-moistened towelette (alcohol and lidocaine), and they expressed a lot of concern. If I was ever gonna get stung on the cheek by a bee on a Friday morning, I'm glad it happened in front of Peet's! On the food, drink, and service side of things: I had an almond butter and flaxseed oat bar that was scrumptious, and a small iced coffee with a splash of soy/almond/oat milk (don't know which -- I asked Connor to surprise me). Delicious Friday morning breakfast, filling and with protein, for under $7.00! Thank you, kind Peet's baristas. You all rock.

Steady as she goes. Rock steady. At a big shopping mall they refer to the major department stores at opposite ends as anchors, no doubt due to the legacy they have built up. That's very true of this brand and this location. There is a more well known brand and plenty of new kids that are popular in our coffee culture, on Ventura or over in Silverlake, Highland Park or whatever spot has the latest "it" vibe. But, at Peet's it's about, and has been, quality, consistency and comfort. They do coffee proper. Plenty of excellent blends and batches to choose from. Their pastry selection is bountiful and loaded with flavor. This is a great spot to just kick it. Can we kick it? Yes we can! In addition to meters on the street they have free garage parking all the way in the back shared by the other businesses in the complex. The employees are super efficient and good at what they do. Very nice spot that you've probably driven past forever. Well, stop wondering about it and wander in. They got your back.

Inside was clean, not too big but they have a few tables as well as some outside. They have a little patio area out front. They have different options on the menu besides coffee, like açaí and smoothies. I opted for their rose late which was on the specialty menu and chose almond milk. Unfortunately I was disappointed by the flavor of the coffee. There was no hint of rose at all. Dropped by on a weekend and had to park on the street like normal anywhere in LA. We walked down the street to find a very, very busy cafe and super packed but that's a sign, right? Absolutely. 100%. We hopped in line to order and a girl from afar complimented our pokemon shirts lol immediately put a smile on my face. We ordered and the drinks came out pretty quick! Got the Saint Latte and Pistachio Latte and let me tell you. This is hands down the best pistachio latte I've ever had!! Super creamy and the strongness was perfect. They have lots of seating inside and out but we enjoyed ours to go (went to hang out at universal studios for the day). Great spot and can't wait to visit again!! IG: @ammysalamii

My husband and I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, although almost all the pastries were already sold out, so I'm guessing the real rush is in the mornings. Overall, I personally wasn't a fan, mainly because the drinks and most of the food felt pretty underwhelming and lacked flavor. I ordered the strawberry matcha and it was honestly the most bland matcha I've had, which is surprising considering there was strawberry puree in it. It didn't taste low quality, just very muted and not something I'd order again, especially since I get matcha (and strawberry matcha) pretty often elsewhere. My husband got the pistachio latte and liked it, but mentioned it leaned a bit too sweet for his taste. For food, we tried the breakfast bagel and I genuinely can't believe how bland it was. It had all the components you'd expect, everything bagel, eggs, cheese, aioli, bacon, and more, but somehow it just fell flat. I kept wanting to add salt or some kind of sauce to bring it to life. I actually stopped eating it because it didn't feel worth it to keep going for something so flavorless. The one highlight was the spinach quiche. I really enjoyed it and would come back for that specifically, although it did feel a little pricey for what it was. I wouldn't go out of my way to come back, but if someone else wanted to go, I wouldn't object.

Ambiance: Inside has a bare and rustic feel to it, the rugs and the beautiful embroidered piece on the motorcycle inside feel so intentional. The natural lighting was beautiful and the exterior even matched. The seating is decent compared to the size and most people just picked up their drinks and left so that was not a problem. Drinks: We ordered the yala latte and the fig and vanilla matcha. The yala latte was delicious, sweet (but not too sweet), with a strong, smooth coffee flavor. The fig and vanilla matcha was the best matcha we've ever had. Once stirred, you get the delicious jammy flavor from the fig with the slight inclusions of some seeds and light pulp. The matcha was delicious and high quality as well. Overall the drink was our perfection with the balance of all the flavors and the aesthetic dried fig on top. Service: We got there around 3:30 on a Friday and the line wasn't too long. The line moved swiftly as they took everyone's order and got the drinks turned around fairly quickly. Overall: Yala stands out for its beautifully curated space and atmosphere and genuinely tasty drinks making it worth the hassle of parking and the typical LA crowd. The ambiance feels intentional and artistic without feeling overdone or too much, and the drinks, especially the fig and vanilla matcha are thoughtfully crafted and memorable in both flavor and presentation. Yala is the type of spot where you'd come back when you want something that is not only visually pleasing but genuinely well made.
