Great service with patient staff willing to answer your questions and make suggestions. The coffee is ok, most drinks tend to be on the sweeter side, they also offer pastries and you can modify your drink to make it less like dessert. This location is near Sweet greens right on the corner and has plenty of parking. The cafe is clean and has ample seating it's a nice enough place to act as a third.

Haven't been to this location but been in the area a few times. The street is wide which is nice, lots of room and street parking was surprisingly easy. I did a mobile order ahead of time to try the new drink flavors (Caramel Coconut & Salted Butterscotch) which are two of my favorites. Took about 20 min drive and with the ordering ahead of time and parking, it was ready at the counter for mobile pickup when we got there. It was a quick in and out which I love. Pretty big location and nice outdoor patio area. I love the new coconut drink however the butterscotch one was lacking in flavor for some reason. Idk why but it just didn't have that butterscotch flavor to me. Still a great little visit and would definitely come back! IG: @ammysalamii

Iced coffee that took FOREVER to make.

Wow. So disappointed. I love Philz coffee but after visiting this location for the first time today, not sure if I will go to Burbank again. Simple 2 iced drink order placed via online at 8:52am. ETA for ready time was 9:00am. I arrived at 8:58am. Drinks were finally ready at 9:14am. 22 minutes to prepare two simple drinks is not rocket science. Either Daniel needs help or this store has bad management. It can only be one or the other. No excuses.

I am so happy they opened this location! They have ample parking spaces behind the shop and on the street. Staff is always friendly and the space is always clean! I've been to several philz locations and it's always a hit or miss with my drinks tasting perfect but this location by far is the most consistent! My top 3 are: honey haze, philtered soul cold brew, and their new tiramisu. Ugh so good!!!

I am so excited about this location! I have been craving a Philz Coffee close by and was pumped when I learned this location was opening. The location is great! It's one of those rare locations that actually has a parking lot in the back (about 20 spots) as well as some street parking around. There is a surprising amount of seating (inside and outside). The inside seating has a little bit of everything with standard tables (for 2-3 people), a counter top bar, and some comfier chairs. The tables and seats are also spread out well so it's not cramped or bottlenecked at the pick-up bar. The outside patio also has tables and is covered in shade allowing for it to be used all-year. While you can come work here, I wouldn't recommend for someone trying to do deep work (especially if sitting inside). It can get pretty lively and loud between the coffee machines, people, and the music. The location has so much natural light that can come through the many windows, making the ambiance just fantastic. It's a bright and positive atmosphere - and that's before the coffee! So the coffee...The coffee is great! Philz makes each cup individually pour-over style. Since it is pour-over style, you are getting iced or hot coffee or cold-brew. For first-timers, be aware that they do not have lattes (or espresso beverages). For people who enjoy coffee straight-up, the blends are smooth and consistent and there a lot of options depending roast you want (light, medium, dark) and desired flavor profile. Each roast has a few options, which I appreciate. For people who enjoy coffee not-black, you can customize with your preferred milk and sweetness level, with options essentially for low/medium/high for each. They offer non-dairy milks (almond or oat milk) which is nice! If you're stuck on what to get, they also have a few signature drinks that are fan-favorites (hello Honey Haze!), as well as some fun seasonal beverages. My favorite blend is the Philtered Soul blend (medium roast) and prefer it iced. I also love an iced Honey Haze or checking out one of the seasonal drink options. For people who don't want coffee (or want more than coffee), they also have quite a few tea options, as well as food options. They have breakfast burritos, breakfast sandwiches, as well as classic bakery items like bagels, breads, croissants and cookies. In my experience, the food has always been good, and they do tend to offer some vegan and gluten-free options. I personally like the plant-powered sandwich (vegan) when I add food to my order. The service has been pleasant when I've gone in. The baristas keep the orders moving, but don't sacrifice on the quality. If it's crowded, it can feel a bit overwhelming to order, but I don't think that is unique to Philz, that is literally anywhere. When you go to pick up your drink, I love that the baristas want you to love your drink and always ask you to taste it when you pick-up to see if you are happy with it. They are happy to add changes to make your beverage just the way you want, which is unique from a lot of other coffee shops. Overall, I am so happy to have this Philz close by and will be back when I can!

My first time at this location and loved it. The outdoor seating area is awesome. Indoor seating is spacious as well. Customer service was friendly. I got the iced mojito coffee and enjoyed it much. Great spot to check out.

The staff is kind and willing to assist. Never been to this establishment before. First time visitor. As a customer you can bring your laptop for some fun or much needed work. There is inside and outside seating. They have two all gender bathroom. The bakery items are fresh with an assortment of bagels, breads and bear-claws to name a few. The coffee that I ordered was a bold coffee with no fancy stuff included. I wanted to experience the favor of the coffee the first time. The coffee aroma was delight.

Great, experienced and friendly baristas. Amazing gf vegan banana bread. It was relatively fast considering how many people were ahead of me and in the shop. I will be returning :)

It's finally open! Ordered a mint mojito coffee through their app, went a couple minutes before the promised time and it was already ready. Amazing! They were busy too! This location was quick, efficient, friendly and clean. Thanks, Philz! Will definitely be back again soon.

Employees were super friendly and we were excited that they were showing the telemundo World Cup coverage. The menu was great. We split the carnitas plate and got Long Island iced tea. If we were still hungry, we already had planned on ordering à la carte tacos, but the plate was perfect. We were pleased. The menu was great, food was good, drink was good, and we had a nice time! Completely different menu. Food was beyond sub par you can make the food at home and would taste better! Save your money. Everything we had from two orders of "taquitos", "esquite", quesadillas and a blood orange mojito. The only thing with a bit of flavor was the esquite, but again to pay for roasted corn on the cob with just mayo and cheese? For $13 ? NEVER AGAIN. I have a problem with the way they name their items which is a bit misleading. For example, they have an item called taquitos, meaning you would expect a rolled fried taquitos. What came was tacos dorados so why is it named taquitos? They DID write on the menu that it's fried tacos..but again why are they not just calling it TACOS DORADOS? Same with esquite typically esquites are corn off the cob but this was on the COBB and yes it was described on the menu as on the Cobb but again why not call it ELOTE instead of esquite. Clearly this is semantics but just frustrating. If you want authentic Mexican food there is a Don Cuco's around the block that is WAY better than this place. They are at a different tier than this Kalavera's location. If you're a drinker perhaps that would make the food taste better...so disappointed and a waste of money!

First, their cafe de olla is absolutely delicious. This remains one of the only places where I genuinely enjoy ordering cafe de olla. Second, their food is incredible. They serve excellent portions, everything tastes fresh, and the food is just so good. I've had their taquitos and chilaquiles, and both were delicious. The only downside is that every time I've come, there has usually been a bit of a wait, especially because the restaurant itself is pretty small with limited seating. The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. My friend and I went into this Cafe De Olla on the 17th of this month at 2pm. She met me there and lives in Burbank. I have been here once, I believe back in 2018. It was pretty solid in every way. We were warmly greeted by Erick--the host, standing by the podium and right away he got us a seat inside. After like 5 minutes, Elsa, our server approached us to take our order. My friend and I both felt like we were being rushed through our meal. Food came out hot and quick. We opted for a few of their dishes. Tacos Mananeros, came with 4 tacos ($18.95), with 4 complimentary sauces. 2 of the sauces were very spicy and Elsa didn't warn us. We also got the Veggie Omelette with tomatoes, onions, spinach, mushrooms, Jack cheese, topped with avocado and a side order of hash browns. They made the hash browns perfectly. Told her nice and crispy on the top and that's what we got. (18.95). We also shared their French Toast topped with Strawberry, Blueberries, and Blackberries. ($16.95) topped with lots of Whipped Cream (which I love) and a side of syrup. We needed to add more syrup to make the French Toast more moist. The French Toast was a bit dry for our liking. Even the people sitting next to us who ordered the same thing were saying the same. On the flip side, the other 2 dishes tasted fresh and delicious. Great portions for the prices. We also got this drink called Powerful from their smoothies section of the menu. It was called Green Smoothie. Ingredients were the following: blueberries, honey, Greek Vanilla yogurt, avocado and Almond milk. It was simply very refreshing and delicious. My friend wanted some sort of Latte, Espresso, Americano, etc..but they didn't have any of those drinks. All they had was regular & decaf coffee. At first, I asked for Cranberry juice, and Jose, said they only had Apple and Orange juice. We found it a bit odd not to have any of those drinks. Going back to our server Elsa, she was a bit aloof and forgetful. I asked for a bowl of fruit, and it never made it to our table. After we were done eating, I asked for two to-go boxes and a bag, she forgot that too. We had to ask the other employees to get them for us. The same with to-go containers for our sauces. She forgot to bring napkins too. Jose, (our busboy), needs a raise and promotion! This young man read all the ingredients on the Taco menu which came with: bacon & egg, chorizo with potato & eggs, machaka/eggs, & nopaitos/eggs. The writing in their menu was very small. Another server by the name of Angel, truly was an angel. Checked on us while Elsa was taking orders over the phone. They have another location in Monrovia, a gender neutral restroom, place was very clean. Inside was small. It had 10 tables and nice couches with cozy, inspirational decor and pillows. Lovely music playing over head with a nice patio seating. Will I return? Yes, but not anytime soon! Also check for their business hours..
