This is one of the largest Starbucks you'll ever come across as I believe it took the space from a previous restaurant. Like any Starbucks it offers basic coffees and Starbuck favorites. I happen to come here during start of the holiday offerings which make me very happy. Really like the peppermint mocha which is a great drink during a cool morning or a chilly night. This location looks to be a great space to just hang out with a book whether outside on the patio or inside. Parking is a bit of a hassle in the private lot, but look to the streets for additional spaces. read more

This is a nice place to study because of the amount of sitting space (both indoor and outdoor seating is available), and the amount of outlets. Service is a tad slow, and the baristas aren't as friendly as the ones in the Rancho Marketplace Starbucks. Parking can also be a bit tricky, so I usually like to park on the street. read more

The staff was so lazy. I was ordering 8 items and I asked the barista if she could put them in separate transactions for the most part, not all, and she agreed. When we were on our second transaction she said "you can only have two stars in an hour. So we have to put all the rest in this transaction." This is the first time I've heard this. I've gotten 10 stars in an hour. That's how much coffee I buy. But she was lazy and rude and a liar. Not coming back. read more

My favorite Starbucks in Burbank. I'm not a huge fan of Starbucks in general but honestly it is a pretty convenient place to get some work done. And in order to get some work done efficiently, I need space, good ambiance, and some coffee. This location has all of these. It is very spacious! One star off for noise level (I know it's a coffee shop and it's not a library but around 3:00, students from nearby schools fill up and are EXTRA loud) so I've learned to go at an earlier time. read more

I came to Starbucks and no one was in line today. I was trying to figure out what I want so I stood next to the register. Someone came in I told them I wasn't ready so he went ahead of me. Then I was ready but didn't realize the line started from the left side. I was standing on the right side of the register. Then the worker asked me "were you gonna order?" I was like "yea I'm ready" she then told me "oh but the line starts over there" and pointed to the line. I told her "I was here before there was a line I didn't know where line was supposed to start from" then she didn't say anything back so I told her "fine I'll go stand in line" and she didn't bother to help me out since I have been standing and waiting there. I've never been treated this bad before. Horrible! I feel like every time I go Starbucks now the customer service is going down the drain! It's not how it used to be. I love this location! I study here all of the time, the staff is wonderful, fun and attentive (I know because in the course of a few hours I order a ton of stuff from them!). However I do have one complaint and I recognize others complaining about it as well - this location loves to run the AC when it's cold out! I just overheard two people who just sat down 5 minutes ago call up the third person they were meeting to tell them to meet them somewhere else because it's too cold in here. I'm not usually one to make negative comments but I'll make an exception on this one. I've been to this place twice because it's the closest one to work but unfortunately, I now think it's twice too many. Like any Starbucks, the place is nice but unlike most Starbucks I go to, the staff (the cashier/order taker) I've dealt with last December, a guy, was rude. I've presented him with a free espresso coupon that Starbucks promoted during the holidays (where you buy 5 holiday drinks and you get a FREE beverage, valid until the 1/31/14) and without even reading their promotion, told me that it's expired! WTF!!! And only after I insisted he read the coupon, that he continued with my order, albeit with no apologies! I was going to just chuck it to his "holiday blues" until today, when I went to get my usual order, different person, a gal this time, used my other holiday coupon, the same RUDE result!!! The only exception was the female barista who made my drink, who was stealing glances and smiling while making my espresso - kudos to you :) although she might not be enough for me to go back!!! FREE TRAINING TIP: when a customer presents you with YOUR coupon, it might be a good idea to read it first before saying that it's not valid!!! read more

Friendly, quick and professional staff. Wi-Fi is reliable for the most part. A lot of space to work and power is relatively abundant. Lanie is a pro that seems to be working every position at the store at once - and she's always positive and awesome. Cat is a cool lady with a million dollar smile and a very quick wit - look forward to the banter when she's working the register. Not many quiet spots inside or out (especially with prolonged construction project lately). Drinks are always well done, none of the apathy, attitude or half efforts you might see at other coffee shops. Good stuff. read more

Not happy at all with this location! Very slow service, and me being allergic to dairy - they made me my drink with milk instead of soy as I ordered! My favorite Starbucks in the Valley. It's always clean. They actually have outlets for your computer charger. I've spent many hours working here, and I'm never treated like a loiterer, which isn't always the case when it comes to Starbucks. Strange place to build a Starbucks. The area is plagued by street closures for some sort of sewer (?) construction making it very challenging to get to the tiny parking lot. If you can find a parking space, enjoy the atmosphere inside! read more

Ordered the wrong drink not knowing what it was going to taste like. Did not like it. Friendly employee told me they'll change it for me. I did not even have to get back in line. This is my neighborhood Starbucks and I love it! It is very spacious with seating areas indoor and outdoor. For the most part, service is good. The older baristas have got it down, but service tends to slow down when they have new baristas who seem confused. The older baristas seem to remember the usual customers which is nice. I gave it a four stars because single patrons tend to hog the big tables and sit there all day long like it's their office. So if there's more than 2 in your group, you get stuck in the smaller spaces. Also, there's a barista who works in the morning who is slow as molasses. Seriously, in the morning it's go time when people are rushing to work. She seems to not have a care in the world even when she has drinks piling up. She casually talks to the customers she knows, but unfortunately is unable to multi-task and get the drinks out in a timely manner. If you're a regular in the mornings you may know who she is. read more

I don't want to make too much of big deal about this but this was the second day in a row where something similar has happened. The service is friendly and the drinks are nice but...here it comes...they need to wash their hands more. First day in question the young man behind the counter who took my order went from bagging trash to taking my order and handling my cup without washing hands. The next day the very efficient and friendly barista went directly from putting a new bag in the can to grabbing my cup and fixing my drink. This wasn't too bad until she handled under the lid where the liquid comes out. I don't want to embarrass anyone we all have to learn sometime. I guess I have bad timing or maybe I'm just particular. The place itself is spectacular. The staff is fun and on point, there is a lot of seating with a variety of tables and place is usually neat as a pin. There is also a lot of outdoor seating. The parking is a small lot but there is a lot of street parking that solves that. Now there are a lot of plugs - Plugs for your devices to charge and get power and if you are so inclines to bring your laptop GREAT!!! That said if you plan on using the internet FORGET IT!!! The internet here is absolutely atrocious, one of the worst Starbucks Internet i have encountered. If you need to research something log on something download something go elsewhere, UNLESS!!! yours is the soul computer in the place, that is very early or very late then you might MIGHT be able to check your mail. I love Starbucks coffee, and this is the nicest Starbucks I have ever been to! The inside is very spacious and has plenty of seating and computer outlets. I don't think I have ever been in a starbucks with so much seating!!! They also have a very large covered patio, which is very nice as well! The service is great, and so was my drink! This location is perfect, and the area desperately needed a Starbucks! the other review is just negative becasue it was opening day.. What do you expect? So it seems like this is the newest Starbucks to of hit the Burbank region. The staff is always friendly and some what helpful as far as coffee knowledge goes. The thing i do like the most is about this location is the selection of coffee they are able to brew on the spot. most Starbucks you go to have two to three coffees brewing at any giving time. but, this location have several others that are refereed to as "Starbucks Reserve" coffees. i have given a few of them a while and lets just say a change coffee is needed once in a while. by far my favorites are the Jamaican (a bit pricy ~$5 a cup) and Hawaiian coffees on their reserve list. lets just hope other Starbucks follow these trends. read more
