This is my favorite Starbucks to visit when I come to AZ. (I'm here for 2 weeks every other month and come early mornings to work.) It's a newer location, so maybe others don't know it's here. The crew always greets you when you come in -- but it's more than a fake hello. They truly say hello. I've also been here when they cheer for fellow coworkers. They all seem to care about your experience at this location and go above and beyond. For some SB is just a place to grab a cup of coffee. I'm more about the vibe of the place and feeling at home. I was so excited when I heard this store was opening. I am at Starbucks 5 days out of the week and this is very close to my house. On multiple occasions since their opening, I have overheard (as well as other customers) the baristas complaining about what their customers order through the drive through, particularly fraps! I get that fraps take longer to make and are more involved but that doesn't excuse the behavior. In college I had friends that worked at Starbucks where the demand for drinks has not changed much since then. They would have not complained in front of customers. Unfortunately for this store, I had one of these individuals in the car where she overheard the baristas complaining herself! She actually made a comment through the window where no apology was made for the rude comments whether they were directed at us or not. It's sad when your neighbor also comments on the service at this store. I think I'm going to wait until the dust settles here. Maybe they will hire more experienced baristas who are happy to be at work and happy to help even when things get stressful. I am not typically the type to write up a review or complain... But this has happened on too many occasions to ignore. I would be happy to turn this review around and give 5 stars when the staff starts caring about their jobs, themselves (attitude)and their customers. read more

i've been going to this Starbucks to do my homework/study since I was a freshman in college and all the baristas are so sweet and friendly. Cheryl is super sweet and she works mornings here and gets my order right every time. in the evening, i usually get Austin or Billy who takes my order and they know what they're doing too. Like those before me I will say that this is a great location! The staff was super friendly and I noticed a lot of folks came in and they knew them. I will keep going back to a place that remembers me. That shows initiative on their part and makes me want to frequent a place where I'm not just another customer. Technically it is not Fall yet but Starbucks has brought back my all time favorite, the Pumpkin Spice Latte!! YAY! I look forward to this every year. Fall is my favorite season and the Pumpkin Spice Latte is just another reason to love it! Although here in AZ it's hard to tell when Fall starts. I guess that means it goes from being 110 to about 90 outside. But I digress..... This location also has a fair amount of seating and plugs for laptops. They also have seating outside. It was clean, even the bathroom and when you have a child you see a lot of bathrooms! A clean bathroom in a public place is a thing of beauty. I don't live close to any of the really great coffee places so Starbucks will have to suffice. And it helps when you find a Starbucks card in your purse too!! read more

I was ordering at the speaker and after I finished my order they asked me if that was it. Then I started looking for my wallet and I realized that I left it at home on accident. I told them to just cancel the order and I'll go pick up my wallet and come back and re-order and they said OK. I was driving through and they told me to stop so I stopped and they had my drink ready for me and they told me that it's all good and that they totally understand. I have lived in the area for years now and honestly I'm not sure why this one location has so many problems with drink and or food consistently. I mostly order through the drive thru which involves a wait . No big deal however when I drive off and my drink is completely different and or awful I want to lose it ! Getting back in line or walking in just makes me furious . Last week I was in a hurry so I resorted to this location one more time because it's close to home . I ordered my new favorite drink ( shaken Iced brown sugar oat milk expresso) The min I drove off and to my horror , the drink was gagging bitter with a ton of cinnamon!! I got back in line and later told someone didn't add the sweetener . I was given a new drink and honestly it just wasn't the same ( allot of oat flavor ) I was in a hurry and frankly burnt out from yet another issue with this location and agreed to keep it and drove off Yet another example added to the issues with this location I have resorted to driving a bit further away to a location that has always been consistent with the drinks ( Dobson ,Fry rd ) Yah they are always busy but at least I get what I pay for without the aggravation ! read more

One of my favorite Starbucks locations. My regular Barista Nate always has a smile on his face, offers creative drink suggestions, and if something isn't quite right, he makes sure you leave happy. Despite being a corporate coffee house, this location has a great neighborhood feel. My only suggestion for improvement is enforcing the no smoking zone on their patio - I love to enjoy the great AZ weather without the stench of cigarette smoke. Everyone's entitled to do what they want but should be considerate of how it affects those around them. Overall, love having this Starbucks as my regular coffee house. read more

If I could give no stars I would .Young lady with blonde and pink hair , was absolutely rude for no reason . They had no customers in line but continued to rush me first as we were looking at the merchandise we hear " are you guys ready " so we go ahead and go , we then look at the menu and get told after 1 sec of looking up " do you need another minute or are you ready" so we go ahead and order since we are obviously being rushed I quickly ask my husband what he would like since he rarely has Starbucks . We order and I am even kind enough to leave a tip , wasn't much but still did even though I didn't have to as she was just being rude and taking my order . We are sitting 1 ft away from the order pickup side and she just yells out "CAKE POPS" and throws them on the table as if we weren't there . That upset me a little but didn't let it get to me until she made our drinks and put them on the drive thru side making the poor girl who already have a line of cars come and serve us our drinks . Mind you the lady was doing nothing but talking over the mic to her other coworker . I've never ever dealt with something like this but I can see why this app is made now . It is not my fault youre having a bad day at work , Starbucks you definitely need to check your employees . Inside cafe is closed so the drive thru line is super long. Girl on headset doesn't know how to talk to people so she is rambling back and forth not making any sense. I went at 9:45 am (a busy time for people to get coffee) and they were cleaning the blonde espresso machine and said it would be about 20 minutes?? Maybe don't clean your machine during the morning when it's busy and cater towards your long line of people waiting for $6 coffee. read more

Still a new establishment so be patient. Very nice and polite staff. Drive thru, when busy, tend to make them forget orders somehow. I ordered a tall hot drink and was handed a venti ice drink. This is my favorite Starbucks! Yeah, I know you're thinking that they're all the same - but, really are they? Haven't you ever gone to another location of your fav place and it's just not the same? I like the staff here - the young'ns are friendly and not snarky or rude the way I can imagine I might be if I was forced to deal with the incessant crowd of hippies, homeless, 9-to-5ers and picky folks. The staff here is very customer friendly, the service is fast and they always put a smile on my face when I walk in and hear "Good morning!" I am not a big fan of their coffee, but I love their Passion fruit tea and their seasonal Shaken mango black tea. There are so refreshing on a hot day or just something to sip on! This is for the Starbucks that used to be at 1900 W. Chandler Blvd and moved to 1245 W. Chandler Blvd. This was the first time I have gone to their new location, and I will never go back because I get halfway home and it isn't the drink I ordered. The label says vanilla cream cold brew but what I received was a vanilla latte. I don't know if they were out of it and thought they could pass it off as a cold brew or what, but there is a huge difference in taste. This drink is disgusting. I took a few sips thinking it would get better, but it's not. The latte has a sour flavor compared to the cold brew. The cold brew reminds me of dark chocolate; it's so good. I can't drink anymore of this. The service was crap too. I stood at the mobile order pick up while everyone ignored me. They weren't even busy inside. A guy came right by to refill the ice and didn't even acknowledge me. I could see my drink sitting there so I grabbed it and left. Unfortunately, I did not taste it before I took off. You know, I shouldn't have to either. I'm calling Starbucks tomorrow to get my money back. I'm not driving all the way back there because it is out of my way and I won't be nice when I do. I wonder if I can take it back to a different Starbucks. Even if you can, I hate to stick another store with fixing someone else's mistake. read more

I have to agree with some of the other reviews on here. This is my third time to this location and the service sucks, every time! I think they focus too much on the drive through folks and not enough on the people inside of the store. I had to remind them of what drink I had ordered after 20 minutes of waiting in the store with two other customers who already had their drinks. I understand they are a new location but it's been a few months now at least....hire some more staff PLEASE. For now I will make the extra drive to the next closest location. read more

Don't tell my dad, who is a huge coffee snob, but I secretly (or not so secretly) harbor a soft spot in my heart for Starbucks. It is just not the holidays until I taste my first pumpkin spice late. I love going to this Starbucks, not only it's because it's the only way to work and it's just next door to my house but because of the customer service. I come in every Saturday for my drink and they always make it amazing. One time it was so busy even when I got there early and I was going to be late for work.
