It's a Starbucks and everything in here is Starbuckery! It is a rather unique layout. They have gender neutral restrooms. We received patient, friendly service, and the baristas don't seem overworked or grouchy. We got our current favorite "Mocha Cookie Crumble," and it was really nice. Actually a little better than usual. The menu seemed to be edited. There were no lunch sandwiches. They were rocking an extensive cup clearance rack. Sis got a cute cup for $9.99 -- Score! I don't like coffee, but I'm starting to love Starbucks. Kudos to my barista! She did such an amazing job making my caramel apple spice that I finally decided to write a review on this Starbucks. Whenever possible, I take the lid off of my drink and slurp up the whipped cream, then drink what's pretty much hot apple cider that may or may not have a couple pumps of caramel in it. SO SO Good. This one was SO delicious, as my barista seems to have added extra cinnamon. What I really love about Starbucks is that they serve their drinks at an immediately drinkable temperature. This particular Starbucks is standard and they move at a decent pace, usually having two baristas and one cashier. While they aren't Chic-Fil-A friendly, they are okay and get the job done. This particular Starbucks has an abundance of gifts for the holidays. So if you know someone who loves coffee or Starbucks in general, there are several options to choose from. This Starbucks location consistently provides slow service and probably one of the many reasons why Starbucks enacted their mobile pay option. This location is also on the smaller side, with only a few seating options in the very front. I must say what they lack in efficiency, the baristas make up for in friendliness. Every time, I've come here, the baristas are usually upbeat and incredibly patient with those who seem to be new to Starbucks and how to place a coffee order. This Starbucks is right by University Research Park and the Arbor Hills subdivision. It is near the Trader Joe's, Five Guys, Rita's Ice, medical offices, etc. You can have your coffee there, do your groceries next door and go for a dental cleaning afterwards all in walking distance. And yes, the coffee there is good. My friend thinks they make the best coffee out of all Starbucks in the area. read more

Ha, apparently I am on a world tour for Starbucks! This was my first visit to this one, situated at the edge of "The Arbors" shopping center. High notes: Fast & friendly service. My boyfriend & the barista bantered back & forth about baseball. The place was clean. To echo Adam's comments, it does seem kinda small. It's in an "L" or "E" shape. Of course, there's seating outside, should you want to sit out in the elements. A plus, I wanted a salted caramel mocha & they fixed it! They had the ingredients left over from this "fall only" offering. The drink was perfect! I love that there's other shopping & eating to do in this area. This Starbucks remains my favorite in the entire world. They have no drive through but you don't need it. I like that the same people are there because they know what I like and what I don't like. The hustle is still great. Fast and friendly. The parking lot remains a detractor, but they make it up with everything else being top notch. The place remains in the cut because you can fly right by it and never know you missed it - rely on that GPS and have faith in your Google Maps. They are super pet friendly, giving you water for a dog should they need it. read more

I hit up Starbucks on a regular basis (though I usually forget to check in!) but I work right around the corner form this Starbucks and I have to say of the Starbucks in the area this is one of the more efficient and friendly. This particular trip there was no line, the barista was very friendly and I got my drink which was a frappuccino in record time! It was awesome service. I tell you I've never waited a ridiculous amount of time at this location and they have never messed up my order. I would highly recommend this location. Plus their baristas are all so friendly, I have never felt one ounce of attitude or mistreatment from anyone here. I'd have to say this is my favorite location in Charlotte so far. read more

My favorite Starbucks. Not sure what makes this one special, but they seem to be very consistent with their drinks and all the baristas and cashiers are friendly. I'm a chai fan, and they seem to always get my drink just right (which I can't say about other locations). There's not a lot of seats though, and most that are there are right beside where everyone walks, so there's not really any good place to meet or enjoy a drink. When the weather is nice you can sit outside, which may be a better option for those that like to stay on premise. read more

This was one of the worst starbucks experiences I've ever had. I stopped by on a Sunday evening to grab coffee before a long drive back home. I ordered a simple drink, and ended up waiting for probably 15 minutes to get it after ordering, if not more. It was not overly busy, instead the barista was chatting with some other woman, and even making her a drink, before attending to my paying customer order. You can have besties if you want, but don't make a drink for them and serve them before paying customers. Other people there were kind of standing around not helping out, the only barista was chatty cathy, it was a bit dirty, and the bathroom was gross. I usually pop in here when I'm running errands on a Saturday. It's close by to a Fresh Market and Trader Joes, which I love. I've never had a problem with my beverage, and the Barista's are some of the friendliest. This store set-up, however, is super tight. I can say this is my coffee shop because I am always getting something to go either on my way to work or if I am just looking to spoil myself a little. However, today I had to wait on someone so I stayed in. Folks here are friendly and they do make fun of each other a lot. I happen to seat on the high chairs so I heard some of it. This is easily my most frequently visited location. The staff is always fast and friendly and I've never had a bad experience. There is some outdoor seating which is nice but its limited. I never stop at this shop but was passing by. Never again!!! For a Sunday at 11:00am, it wasn't busy. I ordered and the little boy making the latte says my name and the wrong flavor latte. No, says I and tell him eggnog. He repeats my name and I say yes, that's me. He makes a face and dumps the drink to make the one I asked for. He was clearly annoyed and there was no I'm sorry. I took a year off from Starbucks and went back recently for their herbal tea. Try the majestic mint tea.

Nice location and the staff is always courteous. I enjoy many of my Saturday coffees there. Its a little pricey but my gold card give me discounts that make trip worth the while. read more
