    Decently sized but when I stopped by, the parking lot was nearly completely full. They weren't in the sandwich place and they weren't in the mattress place. They were all in the coffee place. This Starbucks was super busy and very crowded. Loud with people and with espresso being steamed, but when it's not busy there is enough room to sit with a laptop for a bit. On the plus side, it is a standalone Starbucks, as opposed to being inside one of the supermarkets nearby. They do have a drive through now, which probably makes it way easier for the folks headed towards Uptown Charlotte. I think access is difficult.

    Would give zero stars if I could . The entire staff has changed . They need Micah back her drinks were fantastic . I order an oatmilk latte every time I go in and they always give me regular milk . The young lady at the counter after ringing my drink in wrong proceeded to make it and gave me a cup with espresso all over it. I think for eight dollars for a cup of coffee the least they can do is give me a properly presented drink.

    I placed an online order At 4:02pm on Fri, Dec 28th, 2018. to the Starbucks at the following location. Hwy 49 & Steelecroft Pkwy 13129 S Tryon St #100, Charlotte, NC 28278 For 1 Frappuccino, and 1 sausage and egg sandwich. I arrived at the location and waited for my food and drink. After some time, my drink arrived, I informed the employee that I was also waiting for a sausage and egg sandwich. He said, and I quote, "I think we might be out of all the breakfast sandwiches, I don't know, you'll have to go wait in line and ask the cashier..." I went and waited in line, which was about 5 people deep. OK, I finally get to the cashier (my Frappuccino melting, my handicapped wife waiting in the car, for said frapp). I explained the situation to the cashier. She says she'll check and see if they have the sandwich. She checks and there is no sandwich. And she says, "sorry, we are out". Then she just stands there in silence for 30 or 40 seconds. Until I finally say, "well, can I get a refund". And I said, "to be honest, I would like a drink coupon for my troubles, because the way the first employee handled this was very rude. And if I can't have the drink coupon, I'd just like to speak to the manager". The cashier is nice btw, just appears really new and doesn't know how to do a return. She gets the supervisor, who has been in earshot the whole time. The supervisor never gave her name. But she asked what the problem was. I explained again. She said she would give me a refund, but that starbucks didn't do drink coupons anymore. I said that's fine, I just feel the services today was rude and I'd like a store card for contact. She claimed she was all out of cards. And then still wouldn't give her name. (which wasn't a huge deal, I have to stress that I was calm and not cursing or anything, because I know starbucks HQ usually takes care of frequent customers in these situations) So while she is on the register, I snap a quick picture, so I have a reference for who told me stuff and who handled this. No flash, just pulled my phone up real quick and took the pic. At this point I had not even raised my voice (and I never did while there). The supervisor notices me take the picture and immediately demands!! I delete it. I ignore her request and simply say "I'd like my money back, for the sandwich I have paid for, that you do not have", she again demands I delete the photo or she will call the cops. I said "go head, I haven't done anything illegal, I'm allowed to take photos. Please give me my money back for the sandwich you do not have". She then calls the cops. (i call my handicapped wife who is in the car, to explain what's happening) I stand there, my Frappuccino melted into an ugly mess. While she calls the cops for 10 mins. She finally gets off the phone and claims the cops are coming. But finally gives me my return and says "have a nice day". Clearly she didn't want me to stay, and since I hadn't broken a single law yet, I wasn't going to defy her and stay. I had no reason to, I had everything I need at that point. Maybe inform this supervisor, that it isn't illegal to take photo or video in starbucks. That's how terrible viral videos of starbucks happened. This all ended about 4:30. I am appalled at what I had to sit through and how I was treated in front of a room full of people. And I do not plan to let this go without some form of compensation. This whole ordeal was ridiculously unnecessary and starbucks had several opportunities in this one situation to correct this. I suggested drink coupon, because that's what you used to do, that's fine if it's no longer the go to, but she offered nothing but a hard time to me.

    10:30 am on a Saturday morning and I spent 15 minutes in the drive through. Don't care how good or bad the coffee is that is ridiculous. Update: It has now been 25 minutes. Update #2: My wife's drink was not correct. Best of luck to all of you that would like to venture into this Starbucks.

    Love the customer service at this Starbucks location. As I was greeted with huge smiles, granted it was still so early in the morning. The fact this location opens their door at 5:00 am, it's great for us the early birds. For this they earned 4.5 stars in my book. Came in this morning 1/8/19 at 5:49 am to pick up my mobile order that I placed at 5:41 am. There was no costumers inside the store, a few drive-thru orders.The order was just as I placed it, sadly it took too long for the order to come out. I ended up leaving by 5:57am and cause me to be late to my next destination. For the excessive wait I give 1.5 stars. Hope to update my review next visit.

    Our new Starbucks has been open nearly a week, so I felt it was time to give them a preliminary review. First off, I love this location. It is right across from the Carolina Healthcare System Hospital at the intersection of Steele Creek Pkwy and S. Tryon. Even better, it is the jumping-off and ending stop for the CATS Steele Creek Express (http://goo.gl/bfGORF). Those two factors alone automatically make this my favorite coffee location. In addition to this prime location that, incidentally, is also next door to a Jimmy Johns that will be opening soon, this Starbucks has a drive-thru. It is my understanding that is the main reason they decided to open it here. They already have three locations within a 1/4 mile with in-store setups in Harris Teeter and Target respectfully, as well as a free standing unit in Rivergate just down the road. None of the aforementioned locations have a drive-thru which makes them worthless for me. This location seems to be geared mostly towards the drive -thru traffic with a very long driveway wrapping around the building. But, it's not just a drive-thru location. They have a very nice, if slightly smaller interior complete with pub style tables, and a variety of tables and chairs lining the walls and center of the store. That being said, it was slightly confusing when I came in. There was no clear delineation for where the line begins for ordering. You actually have to walk through the middle of the store and wrap-around on the far side in order to enter the line. I only knew this because I watched the CATS driver make his way to order just ahead of me. The store is complete with all the expected essentials, including a blazing hot WIFI, their standard Spotify-inspired music; App-based ordering: including ordering ahead of arriving to avoid lines; very nice restrooms; and a few tent-covered round-tables and chairs just outside the front door. Regarding the team, I have to say they are more than a bit green. They seem to be a little hesitant to speak-up; There seems to be some trepidation with orders: it takes a bit longer than I am accustomed to. But, they seem to be on the right path. I think it is not a question of "If" they will get better, but how long will it take for them to start functioning as efficiently as most locations. For now, the product is a 5, the location is a 5, the price is always a 3, and the team is a 3. Overall I give them 4-stars.

    I've been sitting in the drive thru line for over 25 minutes on a Sunday afternoon. Awful service. Very disappointed.

    Slowest drive through ever. Don't keep items in stock. We will drove an extra few minutes to another Starbucks from now on.
