What is happening to your employees??!! This is the worst customer service from any Starbucks I've ever been to. And this Starbucks didn't used to be like this. Fix your employees because this is getting very bad. I had placed an order online, the barista made it incorrectly, I mentioned what I had asked for and she wanted to sit there an argue why it was made the way she made it when I had ordered it at other Starbucks the same way without issues. I asked her if she could just fix it and she doubled down. I had an event to be to early in the morning and I just didn't have the time nor energy to argue with a child who could not comprehend what was being requested so I left. Today, we came an ordered in person, a customer was telling the barista what was wrong with her beverage and the same response came from a different barista, at least he offered to fix the drink. The lady was calm and yet another barista from behind the counter betrayed the customer on why the drink was made that way when she wasn't even the one that made the drink for the customer. I visited on 5/11/2026 at approximately 6:07 PM and was very disappointed with the customer service. While waiting for my drink, the employees appeared to be playing around and socializing instead of helping customers. Several people who arrived after us were served first while we continued to wait and were largely ignored. Customer service should be a priority, especially during busy times. Unfortunately, the staff's behavior made us feel overlooked and unimportant as customers. This Starbucks location never disappoints! I've been here a handful of times. Employees always greet me when I walk in and leave. The space is clean and organized. They have never messed up my drink. Personally, I love the Millenia location because of the big screen that shows where you're at in your order. This location next to Walmart has been around for quite awhile and it's convenient because it's next to the multiple stores and fast food restaurants. For my most recent visit, I had thought I had chosen this location but my order went to the Eastlake & Otay Lakes location instead. Initially when I checked for my order, they said it's being made. However, the barista at the tablet next to the pick up section asked for my name and informed me that it is most likely at another location. He looked at my order on my phone and noted my order, then stated, "We will make it for you rn." I was super grateful since I was in a time crunch and it was my error. everytime I come here, I was try to give the benefit of the doubt, but I'm always wrong. i ask for light ice and am given 75% ice in my cup. absolutely insane. I get it. I used to work in a dessert shop and if someone asked for no ice, we'd fill up to about 80% of the cup for cost and such. but damn, if "less ice" is already 75% of the cup, then I would hate to be the person to get ripped off and gets the regular amount. Came over here today for some matcha frappe, dragon drink and cake pops. Service was great. The lady at the register was helpful and gave me recommendations on customizing my drink (I ended up adding a shot and caramel drizzle). There's plenty of sitting outside (front and side of shop) and inside so it's never an issue. It's at a good location because it's next to a Chevron gas station. There are no shortages of Starbucks when you're in the Eastlake Area. However I feel like this Starbucks is one of the best! Modest Starbucks and extremely hectic especially weekdays mornings. Quite tight inside but the staff keep it really clean. The baristas do their best to keep the lines moving getting your drink out fast. However most recently my mobile order was incorrect. I ordered a grande vanilla latte with an extra shot yet they ran out of vanilla.. so what type of latte was made???! I had mixed feeling about this Starbucks. First of all, they make a good Caffe Misto, but they have to listen more carefully. I asked for it in a "mug" and of course they did not complete the task. The misto was good and made from a light roast. It was smooth and the steamed milk made it somewhat creamy and definitely easy to drink. I forgot neglected to mention that I also order a low fat coffee cake, not that I am on any low fat kick or anything, but I just wanted to try it for the first time. This location is probably the slowest starbucks I've been to. Staff is also very rude. I placed a mobile order at 4:10 pm and the app said it would be ready within 10 mins & I ended up waiting over 30 mins for one iced coffee. I understand Starbucks gets busy but there weren't any orders really coming out when I got there and I noticed customers were getting drinks placed at the register even before mine that was placed 20 minutes ago. Also the asian male barista with the bangs was extremely rude. I asked about my drink and he shrug me off, ignored me & still kept making drinks for customers that ordered after me. They also don't call out names when they put the drinks out which confuses customers. I've been to this SB in passing more than a few times. Depending on the time of the day sometimes the tables can be sorta dirty. On the slower parts of the day its fairly clean overall. It's a decently sized SB but that lot has a lot of traffic flowing through due to the Walmart next lot over. read more

I have a terrible case of a love-hate relationship with this Starbucks. I love the location -- convenient, and easy with a beautiful flood of natural light. The seating arrangement aggravates me. And where are the power outlets?! The WIFI is uber reliable. I have never had a problem. The staff is terribly inconsistent. Sometimes you get the professional baristas who are good at what they do. Other days, you get the type of folks who look at you with such blank reserve that you wonder why they don't just quit on the spot. The espresso is always good. I've not had a problem with the coffee. The place could often use some attention. Trash cans overflowing. Crumbs on tables. Floors that need to be moped. Which brings me to my last complaint: this is a fairly busy Starbucks -- seemingly not as busy as the location down the road, but busy nonetheless. It often seems like the teams here could use some extra staffing support. That proves true almost every single time I am here. Yet, I return. I ordered a Iced Venti Vanilla Latte topped with Sweet Cream Foam. I received my order From Alexa. I kindly explained it was missing sweet cream foam and she rudely responded "you said sweet cream!, I put sweet cream in it" she was not even the employee who took my order so I don't know how she would know what I "said". She then takes the drink back and dumps some of it out and was going to top it with sweet cream. I told her I didn't want sweet cream in the drink just topped with sweet cream foam. She was very upset by then. The original employee who took my order apologized to Her and said he pushed the wrong button. She said "it's just the density, it's the same thing" and she kept repeating this and laughing about it with the other employee "it's just the density that's what I don't get" as she was remaking my drink. By then I was very mad. I don't get Starbucks too often. I drink my coffee at home and a Starbucks drink is my coffee when I want to indulge. Usually on Fridays after a long week so of course I want it right. I know sweet cream foam and sweet cream are the same "flavor" I just didn't want sweet cream in my drink. I've never had any issues with any employee or any mistake made on my drink and usually they will willingly remake it without any hesitation if there is a mistake. Alexa made me feel like I should just have to take the drink I paid for even if it was not at all what I ordered. I then explained this to her. I told her "I know it's the just the density but I don't want sweet cream in my drink just topped" and she kept saying "your good your good" and by then I was not good. I told her "I ordered sweet cream foam and I don't understand why she had a bad attitude towards me" I felt embarrassed because her "your good your good" was condescending. I had also ordered a cake pop for my son who was with my husband and infant waiting for me in our car. I told her I didn't want the drink anymore and she said "ok you sure?" I said "yes" and after a couple seconds of standing there and not being offered my money back I just walked out tossing my son's cake pop on the floor. When I did that she screamed "wow!! Have a great day" again not offering my money back and of course not really wishing me a good day. I got in my car shaking! and not from the 3 shots of espresso I was about to indulge in, but because of Alexa and her rude attitude towards a tired Hispanic mom who just wanted a delicious coffee made the way I ordered it. Alexa should not work in a job where she has to be face to face with people She was mean, condescending, rude, and a bully. I want a refund obviously. More than the 9 bucks. This location seems to always struggle with cohesiveness in service. Some baristas are engaged and fluent while the others are completely lost. Mobile orders are consistently behind schedule by 20 minutes or more. The area for pick up of drinks and food is usually unsanitary and unorganized. Drinks are also made mediocre. I typically will not leave a review unless issues have been persistent for long periods of time. This Starbucks has been this way for at least two years. My daughter went to this Starbucks to order two frappuchinos since was happy hour but Wasn't returning for twenty minutes so I walked in to check what was going on.
