Just waited 25 minutes for a latte (ordered at the counter) and when I asked, the employees had a conversation and realized they had ONLY been making mobile orders for the last 15 minutes, and then proceeded to take another 5 minutes to produce the easiest drink on their menu. Typical Starbucks; Overpriced and Mediocre when at its best. I sometimes wonder why I still even get these burnt and bitter tasting latte's that can't even stack up to McDonalds, Oh yeah...convenience! This is a nice Starbucks in general and the staff is friendly, but the location is amazing and it is one of the only reason this place will stay in business, maybe. I use to live in the area and was surprised to see six years later this super nice outlet shopping center. Wow! I hope in time someone else opens a better café or coffee shop because this area could definitely use one. Not at all a Starbucks Pro, in fact I find the whole business is built on who can put hipster the next coming by wardrobe, order, alteration, etc. For an average Joe like me- it's really unsettling because here I feel marginalized Bc I don't ask for a double pump half caff caramel macchiato with skim whip that resembles a cumulous cloud with a whisper of cinnamon on top. This is a busy Starbucks. I think I said I would stop yelling about the 230 starbucks I visit in a year all over the world. So this will inevitably be the last one of the decade. I'm so excited about the new year and I hope we can keep visiting Starbucks and collecting "you were here cups"all over the world! Average Starbucks store with decent service and okay tasting beverages. I prefer the Gaithersburg and Colesville locations much more than this one because their customer service is much more personalized. Clarksburg's Starbucks lacks a bit compared to the stores back near my home area in terms of overall friendliness and relaxed vibes. The atmosphere feels a bit stressful as the baristas are making drinks as fast as possible for all the shoppers. Not that the employees are mean, but it just feels very robotic too and that they're only here to do their job, nothing more. read more

Terrible customer service. I placed an order via the app for a cake pop and upon arriving my son notice they had other flavors which were sold out on the app. I walked to the counter and informed the barista my son would like the chocolate one instead of the one I placed on the app because it said sold out and Instead of speaking loudly she mumbled under her breath a disrespectful comment and Her and the other barista laughed and said you should've order the other one then. I informed her return it all. Something so simple turned into an ignorant individual not knowing her place. I stopped by this Starbucks yesterday morning. Not realizing that their hours are different than most other locations and seeing two employees inside, I tried opening the door. Fail. It was locked. I checked the time and it was 5 minutes to 7. The hours on the stated they open at 7. Now, working retail myself, I understand how annoying it is with people trying to come in before we open, however, it was freezing outside. I would never let anyone wait outside while it's that cold with just a few minutes before you're supposed to open. This is what I got after ordering a "tall cold brew with a splash of half and half." And, this photo was after the barista "fixed" it by dumping some of the drink out and adding more coffee. This place is the BOMBBB. Drinks quick, the people are super nice and they always make the drinks correctly!!! They always greet me and my friends whenever we come in or order. You can get like any of your food warmed if you ask, and any of the drinks customized if you just let them know :) Even when it's super busy, they are still quick and friendly! My fav is the Iced Caramel Macchiato and the Pink Drink with Soy Milk! (Tastes like strawberry yogurt) Will be coming here EVERYDAY NOW!!! read more

Clarksburg Starbucks: Both your website and your store-front door clearly state your business hours today began at 7 AM. I drove out of my way to get coffee from Starbucks here this morning - I am not from the area and was driving through - and this complete misinformation was very frustrating to say the least. This added time to my overall trip, and frustration due to having to park outside the outlet, then walk quite a distance to find the Starbucks within center, only to find that it was not yet open for the day, for seemingly no apparent reason. The time lost by this snafu will likely leave no time to actually get coffee now! Worst Starbucks Experience so far in my life. Thanks for nothing at Clarksburg outlet Starbucks. Please update your signage and online business hours to reflect your actual business hours to prevent this from happening to other customers. I ordered through the app thinking it was easier. Boyfriend went in to pick up the drink and came back out. As soon as he came back, I noticed the size was wrong. I ordered a venti and they gave me a grande size. Went back in to get the correct size. The size was correct but the taste was off. Then I realized that they put regular milk and not soy milk. I don't enjoy this location. They don't have what I want. ever. Look at me crazy when I ask for basic items like hot tea and coffee. It was after 4pm, I asked for black coffee. Blank stare from the team behind the counter. After several minutes of confusion, they said it would be 10 mins until they brew some more but they don't really do that after a certain time of the day. So disappointed at the woman who worked today, April 20th. I needed a restaurant and wanted to make a purchase. It was 7 minutes before store opened. There was already someone inside prepping. As I approached door to open, I noticed it was locked. A woman behind me used her key and told me I needed to wait. She would not allow me in. I told her I just needed the restroom and would wait for a drink and food. She said no. I found security walking around and told him what happened. He shook his head. I just returned my Frappuccino for the third time. Really? First time it was too bland, second time it had chunks of ice in it. Third time is a mix of the previous two. No apology either. When I returned it the second time, the barista actually scooped the whipped cream of the drink I had already sipped on and returned it to the blender instead of making a fresh one. Gross! read more
