Cocoa cream wow: boba drizzled with brown sugar, lactose free milk, and topped off with cocoa powder
    Thavy L.

I've been here numerous times since they've opened and they have definitely shown improvement and consistency. The staff is friendly and the wait times are never too long. Even though they're setup in the eatery they still offer the full KFT menu unlike the kiosks in Montgomery and Tyson's Corner mall so that's a plus. Lately, our go to drinks have been oolong milk tea with bubbles and mango green tea. We also tried the new Thai iced tea, which was also good, but apparently it's now in short supply within the company so they can't sell anything larger than a medium cup.

I grew up in Rockville, but I have been living in cities less into bubble tea culture. I was back home visiting and we came to do some outlet shopping. My SIL demanded we stop at Kung Fu Tea. I am out of the loop on all the bajillion customizable options at tea places now. My old school order at Ten Ren's was "almond black". I decided to keep it simple with almond milk tea and bubbles. The service here was fine. It was midday on a weekday so the place was dead, honestly. The tea was meh for me. It wasn't bad, but not amazing either. I don't know understand the hype. Flavor could have been better, bubbles could have been better. Didn't feel like it was worth the money.

Another one star Kung Fu Tea. One star for being clean. The staff is accepting cash and credit card, and making drinks, without washing hands. The staff has no hair protection, hair flying through the drink, nasty.

Was told this was 'Milk Strike Matcha' clearly, this is not the case. This made me violently sick, whatever it is.

Updating my review to 1 star. I asked for Matcha milk Strike. Was rung up for matcha milk and then confirmed by the woman working yesterday about it being the strike milk. I get home after having half of it.. and I run to the bathroom. I'm allergic to milk, doesn't stop me from having things with milk in it. But, I have no idea what that lady put in this drink. It's not the milk strike I've gotten at the Rockville and Arlington locations. I will absolutely, not come back to this location. I'd also like to put out a possible warning for those who visited on 12/19/18. I got very sick from this drink, not sure if it was just me. But I've never had such a horrible reaction to bubble tea before.

Thanks BroS :) uber refreshing on a hecka hot day

3.5-4 stars My oh my does this location get randomly busy on a weekend shopping day. Just received my order and while sipping/slurping, clusters of folks gather eventually forming a line. Good for people-watching. I likely looked like them gazing up at the many choices offered. The staff member at the counter is superhero efficient. In the zone - workin' it. L-O-V-E this location because it's in a fairly open food court NOT under an escalator near automated garage doors getting in the ways of folks walking in and out while waiting for an order. BTW, is Montgomery Mall's spot still crept under there? That herbal jelly will likely be included in all my icy fluid orders moving forward. Btw the slurping mentioned earlier was caused by those lovely slippery jelly treats. They move easily through the straws and the flavor is spot on for a sweet or milky bev. When open, try 'em. Selecting the levels of ice and sweetness bring me back when in the mood for caloric tea. When I wanna be "extra" I'll find my way here. They're found inside the food court to the far east right lower corner.

    CARIBBEAN BREEZE SLUSH

They make their slushes too watery back about last year and used to have more of a sludgy ice texture now it just feels like a melted snowcone that I'm drinking. I went initially on Tuesday earlier this week and ordered a piña colada slush but there was no slush today I pass by and figure it's a different employee. Also let me try a different flavor by Caribbean breeze and then to my surprise it was a slush with no slush.

Located at the Clarksburg Premium Outlets. The storefront is small though pretty trendy looking. Very fast paced. Lots of seating in the food court (and some food options around the food court) in case you don't wanna walk around the outlet. It's like other Kung Fu Teas. Tastey drinks, and pretty fast service. And pretty much the only place in Clarksburg that serves Bubble Tea lol.

    STRAWBERRY LEMONADE, MANGO/MANGO SNOW

This place has a large variety of teas, milks, and slushes. The two we tried, strawberry lemonade and a mango snow slush were absolutely delicious. The service was great - greeted by friendly cashier who help us select drinks. I was expecting high prices but was pleased to find them comparable if not slightly cheaper than Starbucks. I thought it was a substantially better value too...

Mine is in the middle, COCOA CREAM WOW, it was delicious, but a little shaken up from the bike ride home!!!

This location is amazing, I spilled my tea this morning after I tripped, I didn't even have to ask about a refund, because he gave me a brand new tea. Thank you KFT!

    Receipt for nothing

There is stupid, there is fraud, add them up, you get Kung Fu Tea Clarksburg. Do not order online here!!! They charged me for two teas they couldn't make because they lacked the ingredients. The tea maker gave me a receipt showing a refund. Of course, they charged me anyway, leading me to file a credit card payment dispute claim. It's like this, I ordered off Kung Fu Tea's app and was messaged a five minute wait. There is no point ordering online because you have to queue up, as I did for 15 minutes. When I reached their counter, the tea maker said he lacked the ingredients to make my teas. Though he promised a refund I was billed anyway and a complaint I filed with Kung Fu Tea was not answered. Long story short: NEVER use the mobile app at the Clarksburg outlet. If you want their product that badly, line up. You will have to anyway and if you order in person, the tea makers will recognize you and let you cut in line.

Man first time here they mess up my order and so disorganized. I asked for lychee punch with boba and they put jelly and then crossed it off to put the b to add boba and didn't even add boba. I asked for a large and they give me a medium. I ask for a bag and they tell me to give them 5 cents. Lol how disappointing I know Montgomery county charges for bags, but you screwed up the least you can do is give me a bag on a rainy cold day. Never going back here, I'd rather drive the extra miles to Rockville or falls church. Customer service here is below average. The fact that the girl who took the order was nice but that's not a reason for me to come back here.

I love Kung Fu Tea, always drive to the Rockville location whenever I want it! This location is great and very convenience for the parking and area than Rockville. Not too crowded or busy, pretty quick and fast to order! I like how it's more closer to me also it's great whenever I come here to shop I get to get my favorite milk tea too! There's nothing much to say about this place since it's not like a restaurant where you get people to serve you and stuff, so for everything so far is great! The staffs are friendly and sweet! No attitude lol Overall experience, I always enjoy and love how they have franchise at most outlet mall :)

They specialize in Colombian street food, particularly empanadas and hot dogs. Service is quick and they make everything to order. They have a couple of tables and chairs in front of their set-up to enjoy the food. The perro caliente is the star of their menu; I've never had anything like it before coming here. In addition to your standard hot dog, they add mozzarella cheese and onions topped with pineapple sauce, mayoketchup, garlic mayo, and crushed potato chips. The combination sounds wild but the flavors cohesively come together for a delicious bite. I don't even like hot dogs but I was sold in the unique sweet and savory combination of sauces + the incorporation of potato chips. As for the empanada, you can't go wrong with any of their offerings. I've had both the chicken and beef and they were both so tasty. They fry them on the spot and the shell has the perfect crisp with every bite. It comes with a dipping sauce which I believe is one of their mayo sauces which definitely elevates the empanadas. They also offer frozen empanadas that you could take home! I wish I lived closer to enjoy their offerings on the regular. In the meantime, patiently awaiting the opportunity to come back and hopefully bring back a load of frozen empanadas!

My husband has just gone inside to see if there will ever be a server. Update: the server eventually showed up, took our order, and dropped it off. I think not having a server was better than the food and drinks that were delivered. The "mimosa" (didn't even go for bottomless, so this is even more disappointing) was just orange juice. Check the color in the photo. $10ish for a glass of orange juice hurts my soul. Also, the pizza was soggier than my armpits on a summer day in Louisiana. But wait, there's more! We tried to get a glass of prosecco so I could mix it with my orange juice. My husband wound up going inside, ordering it and paying for it at the bar, all because the server was (once again) missing! Absolutely wild that it's faster to bypass the server when you have a table, and the place isn't even busy. Two stars because we were here another time and the server wasn't dreadful that time.

The employee who gave me my drink showed it to his supervisor I guess because quite a bit of the ice had melted. He was told, "it's fine, it sat" with a who cares attitude. I was fine with the drink as I was late and I had not asked for a remake. Since it was quite diluted on top, I went over to stir the drink and remove the cover. The supervisor looked over at me then proceeded to tell the employee that it's not their problem if it's not picked up on time, they just make them when we give them a time. His attitude was very much "screw them if they are late." As I was standing right across from him, I said, "I heard you." He approached the area that leads to the dining room and said "I was talking to him, mind your business." As I have worked in customer service, managed service employees, and hire service reps, my comment to him was simply to bring awareness that his "customer" should not be witness to his complete disregard for them or their purchase. He became very aggressive and told me to get my drink and get out. I asked for his name and he refused and continued to tell me to get out and don't come back. I shared that I would be reporting his behavior and he responded, good. You are trespassed. I asked for what reason? and was told that he didn't like my attitude and that unless I didn't have a problem with him then to get out and he would call the police if I ever came back. He proceeded to tell me that he had plenty of customers and didn't need my business as he has 5 stores. Truthfully, I am happy not to return to this store or any other if this is the level of service provided by your employees. On my previous visit, I waited almost 10 minutes for my drink after it was to be ready and I had no issues or complaints with the staff. Things happen and I assume they did not hold up my drink on purpose. To not be extended the same courtesy as a paying customer is beyond mind boggling. There are too many similar bakeries in this area for me to stress over this location, but poor service bothers me and this was far beyond poor service.

The cafe was beautifully decorated with marble tables, a ton of plants, and plenty of couches and cozy armchairs. There was a ton of natural light from the giant windows, but they also had a number of aesthetic hanging lights, some of which were exposed bulbs and others of which were in little wicker baskets. As far as the food and drink goes, I loved their latte. The coffee was rich and not overly acidic, and it was strong enough that you could still appreciate the chocolatey, nutty undertones under the generous helping of steamed milk and foam. I also loved the little heart sprinkle they added in the center of the mug -- such a cute final touch! My friend and I also split two of their savory items, the cheese arepa and spinach and feta empanada. The empanada was a little different than what I was used to, as it was super flaky and buttery, with an almost croissant or puff pastry-like dough. It was delicious and the savory feta went wonderfully with the spinach and the slightly peppery mayo-based sauce they served it with. The arepa was also lovely, with a generous helping of gooey melted cheese on top of the slightly chewy, slightly sweet corn-based flatbread.
