I've visited hundreds of locations, and 95% of the time, I spend over five hours sitting and observing my surroundings while working on personal tasks. Each location is unique, and while many start to blend together, a few truly stand out. One consistent observation is how much effort baristas put into the customer experience. There is a Tom Thumb grocery store within walking distance. (Additional Starbucks inside to stay awhile) Coppell High School, Wendy's, and other dining and shopping nearby. AMBIENCE: 5-Star The exterior building has a beautiful brick with stairs and ramp leading up to the front entrance and front corner showcasing a large brown stone. An unexpected feature for this location, yet adds a touch of elegance. As you enter inside, it received an uplift, October 2024. To the left is where you will find different seating configurations. The furniture throughout is modern and inviting. The focal point of this café is a large, light green leather couch offers seating in the front and back, nine tables and eight chairs. This unique, couch-like design offers ample outlets and USB ports, bellow your feet. Additional outlets available along the large window wall. To the far left corner tucked away are four large leather lounge chairs with few small round tables. By the front entrance to the left, you will find bar-like seating facing the windows with four chairs, offering more outlets. To the right of the entrance is where you can pick up your order, offering a large counter space to accommodate peak hours. By the pick up counter, you will discover a large digital Que List, giving you peace of mind when your order is near completion. To place your order with one of the friendliest and down to earth baristas, simply walk towards the right back area where you will find merch shelf and other goodies. Some locations truly do stand out and this one tops my list. Besides all the lates renovations inside, they also offer a large wooden patio, smoke-free. Entrance is by the green mural wall, restroom hallway. I have not seen a patio like this before. It offers wooden flooring and most of it is shielded from the sun or inclement weather. Here you can find seven tables and sixteen chairs. A CUP OF PATRON CARE: 5-Star Here, attention to detail is paramount. Matt, James, and the rest of the team truly do go above and beyond. There is not many baristas like them left. They go beyond acknowledging their regulars, not go through the motions, or based on latest company policies. "We pride ourselves in having a Unicorn café," James. I spent over fourteen hours in two days. Being personal is paramount here. They know their local community and the regulars by name. Baristas are able to get into personal or comical conversations with customers like they've know each other for many years. To me that is more important than being robotic and professional. Baristas are considerate of customers in the café by keeping low voice amongst personal conversations. The orders are executed efficiently despite peak hours. read more

The amount of times I've rushed over from school to get Starbucks is insane. The drinks are pretty good and I love their tomato pesto sandwich. The only downside of this Starbucks is they take forever. A lot of people come here so it makes sense but if you walk in and order it takes so long. I recommend getting the app and ordering online instead. read more

This is an amazing store with wonderful baristas! I am there almost every day. It is amazing how rude people can be to workers in coffee shops. However, every single person behind that counter is gracious and kind to the most difficult demanding customers. Do they get behind sometimes? Yes, like any store, when Buffy comes in and orders 14 frappuccinos, each customized, it takes some time. Too many people in this world think they are extra special and the exception to the rules. I went to Starbucks since I wasn't in the mood to make coffee at home and as I was craving a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Although there isn't a drive-thru at this site, there is plenty of parking in front of the coffee shop. The baristas were friendly, and the coffee arrived promptly. Although I found the Pumpkin Spice Latte to be a little overly sweet, I will have to order it again before fall is over. read more

Misty ruined my Friday morning. So rude. I stopped by for a coffee and sandwhich otw to take my frenchie to his appointment at city vet next door. The first woman was so sweet about my dog and offered him a pup cup. Then here comes misty. "Mam no dogs in the cafe" ok so we went to the patio. There is no exit on the patio but a ramp that goes behind . You have to walk through the Starbucks to get to the parking lot. I am walking through the Starbucks to leave with my dog and she states again rudely "mammmmm no dogs in the cafe" I told her I was leaving. I asked her is there another exit ? She said no and said I meant for you to hold your dog when leaving. I said misty you never told me that and she said I was right! (For reference my dog is 20lbs and was on a tight leash the entire time) I am 7 months pregnant! Also my dog is a service dog but she didn't even care to ask! This woman needs to be let go! She has no customer service whatsoever. If you're pregnant or a dog lover do not come to this location. read more

So today is the second day this week that I've order from this location. Yesterday (2/14), they were pretty busy but did their best to keep up with everything. Today, I ordered a bagel with butter. Before receiving my bagel, I noticed the staff was having a discussion about butter but did nothing when I got my bagel. So I asked the barista who was running the oven about butter and was told there wasn't anymore. Which is no problem, because I know many stores have supply issues at the moment, but that info was passed on nor was I asked if I wanted anything to replace it. So I ended up asking if there was cream cheese available, barista looked confused before grabbing it for me and asking how many I wanted. In short, more of a small annoyance than anything. But just a note to maybe ask if the missing item could be replaced with something that is available instead of assuming people won't check their orders. read more

I pass by this a lot but this was my first time coming in and had a great experience. Place was clean (unisex bathrooms included), staff was nice, everything from their quick grab area to their shopping area was stocked and neatly presented, even being packed full of people. I love the back patio and the staff was friendly. They did mess up the "card" (on app) reload so did not get a Sbux summer game play out of the order today. I also don't like how the door lock on the bathroom does not look locked when the lock is engaged. One can't really tell until someone comes along and tries to bust in without knocking. I vote for door locks that show when it's locked/occupied from the outside. Something I really appreciated was that it wasn't freezing cold in there like so many businesses. read more

This is one of the better SBs I've frequented. Plenty of indoor seating, comfy chairs, a bar against windows with bar chairs, covered outdoor seating in front and a great (larger than average) patio in the back. The back patio faces more trees and is mostly shaded during lunch time (nice!). Several peeps enjoying their own bagged lunch with an SB iced beverage on this beautiful spring day! And while I love Biggby's for hot coffee, SB definitely has won me back for iced coffee and teas. I try to avoid corn syrup and white sugar (poison for your body!) and Bigg only provides presweetened flavored iced tea and lemonades - SB has unsweetened flavored iced tea and lemonade - YAY! I highly recommend the unsweetened iced shaken passion berry lemonade! It's tart and you won't miss the sugar :) If still at SB and want a tea or iced coffee refill, they're free! I went in this morning when there were total 3-4 baristas in the shop and no 'in-person' customer in sight. Stood in front of cashier for waiting for them to acknowledge my presence.. They kept chatting amongst themselves and would neither greet me when I step inside or when I standing in front of cashier to place order.. During this time, after me, there was series of many customers who came in to pickup.. maybe they had mobile orders. As soon as they would step in the store, baristas would greet them with 'good morning', 'how are you doin' and all that. All the while, I am standing in front of them and they are not even wanting to acknowledge that I am here to place an order.. Usually I don't notice this but I am sad to say that maybe it has something to do with color. I am non-white and I noticed all baristas and all customers who came after me where white. Went to this location to redeem by birthday drink. They told me it expired (thank goodness I didn't) and I would have to pay. After I paid, the cashier mentioned "I hope you have a better day". I go to this Starbucks 8 times a month. Its always a Cozy and Relaxing place but get really crowded sometimes. They have never messed up my drinks for whole 2 years. If you have kids they also have a kids area for children, and a patio, tables, and bar decks with plugs to charge your electronics for everyone. Relatively great staff,takes at least 2 or 5 minutes to get your order depending on how many people are there. -1 star because of the long lines and waits,overall a great cozy place to come relax and to get your Starbuck drink not messed up. read more

Closest starbucks to me. No drive thru. In the morning, as any other bucks, this one can have lines but they seem to be quick! Always friendly baristas...! They never asked me if I would like my receipt, charged me for a Venti and then gave me a Grande. When I went to the manager, Jim, he was very rude to me and told me "For future reference ask for a Venti." Despite the fact that I asked for it, and paid for it at the register. I love this Starbucks! The staff is extremely friendly, sometimes it's a sausage fest but it's cool because the guys are all really good at recommending drinks. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan of Starbucks. I rarely have a been experience. Not once has my order every been wrong, or employees ever been rude. My only issue with most Starbucks is how slow they are. I go to Starbucks at least 5 times a week, always different locations. From Coppell to Grand Prairie, to Irving to Frisco. Most of he locations, including this one always seems to be under staffed. I mean, I NEVER complain in house, but why does it take 15 mins to pour my blond and grab in a classic coffee cake? if it wasn't for that, I would have added the last star.
