I am not a huge fan of Starbucks and I don't understand the stranglehold they seem to have on everyone. Their coffee is overpriced and tastes absolutely terrible. My visits are few and far between and that is by choice. I can brew a better cup in my Nespresso at home. That being said, a lot of my friends hang out here so I will sit down and chat with them on occasion. Starbucks does offer a good "Community" type atmosphere. Over 25 mins wait, had to ask if there was an issue with my order, they asked my name, I told them, I get a response of I don't see your order. The other guy steps in and says it is right here and will be done in a minute or two. Still waiting. 7 people than came in after me and ordered at register, have received their purchase and have left. Still waiting. Skip this place and go to another location, terrible service and if I could I would rate it a zero. Leave on a good note, the people working were friendly. read more

I visited this Starbucks almost religiously in high school, then I almost never came after I graduated. So it's been about 4-5 years since. Very little has changed since those days. It's still a great place to do some light studying or get some work done, if you can get a good seat. There is a variety of seating, with tables of various sizes. There are plenty of outlets along the walls. The windows are tall and let in a good amount of light. There is a back patio area that's great when the weather is nicer. The downside is that in order to make the small Starbucks area seem spacious, seating can be pretty limited. Tonight, I was a little disappointed in my drink. I usually get an americano or cold brew, but today I was craving something sweet. I ordered a vanilla bean frappe. It unfortunately was sort of melted as soon as I got it. I love being able to chew on the ice chunks in the drink, but wasn't able to do that. Otherwise, the barista tonight was super friendly and nice, so that was a plus. read more

Great Location. Nice raised porch and seating out front. Spacious, comfortable interior with plenty of electrical outlets at the window-bar. Polite, knowledgeable, enthusiastic staff. One of my favorite locations that I drive extra distance for and will miss when I move. -1 star because my mug only holds 12oz, but they keep charging me for a 16oz. read more

Overall it's a Starbucks - they are all the same, but this one has real problems managing orders from the app. I'll be told 5-7 minutes and wait at the store for 20 minutes with a lot of frustrated people. Not sure what the problem is but they need more staff, need to move faster or get their app to give a realistic estimate. Update - TRIED AGAIN - APP TIME STILL WAY OFF!! read more

Just left this location and it took them 15 minutes to make my tea. It was a simple ice tea, and 7 other people that go there after me got their coffee before they even looked at making mine. They kept reaching over my cup to grab the others. I don't understand why it they would make everyone else's before mine. I used to come here daily and since their morning staff has changed they have not been the same. Highly disappointed in the service of this place and most likely will not be returning. read more

Some Starbucks seem like a strip mall store w no soul. Some have a local energy and vibe that stands out from other locations. I have always felt this Coppell location was the latter, not necessarily due to the baristas but a lot of locals that frequent the place. And a fantastic back outdoor patio really adds to the charm. read more

Its been at least a year since I last came in here. still bad coffee and grumpy baristas. Nothing has really changed except for the fact they are one of the few locations to get Evolution Fresh Juice which is the only reason I will come back. read more

I don't think I've been to this location without having a long delay with making a pour over coffee. Today I even asked that they not forget and it took aprox 20 minutes from order to complete. I was told they did not forget, rather "it stopped pouring" lol. How is that even possible. Better luck next time. read more

One of my favorite Starbucks locations ever. Huge back patio, plenty of seating. There's a standing bar-desk along one wall of windows with plugs at every seat. Quick service. Bathroom has been messy every time I've been there, but it's normally towards the end of the day. read more

I do believe that this is one of the better Starbucks in the area. Between the price and the help, it beats any of the other Starbucks around. Sitting here and observing some folks. A couple of Asian woman come in, take a table on the porch with their lunch "boxes" and purchase nothing. One even brought a bottle of salad dressing. The last time I was here, there was a man from this southeastern part of the world sitting right next to me with the back of his chair pushed right up against my chair. After about 20 minutes, he let a real stinky one go and several people could hear it. Shortly thereafter, you could smell the stink. He just kept banging away on his computer. He would not acknowledge anything I said to him. So, I left the building so that I could get some fresh air!! read more

Slowest Starbucks ever. I work in the ER and before my shift I popped into this Starbucks for my favorite morning drink. (Venti Cascara!) I stood in line and when it was my time to order the lady at the register asked if I could wait until she does this refund for this guy a few patrons back, before I could say "no, I really have to get to work" she starts helping him. She wasted 6 mins of my time, time my coffee could have been made and the mins of those 5 people waiting in line behind me, ahead of him. She struggled to find the right buttons on her monitor and never looked up at me or said she was sorry for the amount of time she was wasting. I love to visit place with great customer service and even better efficiency but I will never visit this store again and I will be passing on this information to my friends in the area. Have been going here for a LONG time - the product is still good but the service is getting slower. It may not be the staff (who are very nice), but the sheer number of menu items they carry now! Just prepare to wait - it was 15 min and the store wasn't even a quarter full. The call in orders stacked up so it made all the rest of us that we're onsite, wait quite a while. I love the new refresh on the furniture - that was truly needed. But someone TOTALLY forgot to just mop the floor!!! It looks like it hasn't been cleaned in literally a year. Not exaggerating. After years of people spilling coffee on the front sidewalk too, it's really filthy looking. Could use a power wash even if just once per year. Or at least, a scrub with a broom and soap and water. 6/14 - update: so I guess they may not read these posts - went in today and the floor inside is still gross. I don't understand why no one who works there sees it. Maybe I'll get my coffee from Tom Thumb. At least service was better today. read more

Coffee is standard Starbucks quality. No complain. But my favorite item, Chai Tea Latte is TERRIBLE. It is Chai Tea flavored hot milk!! I gave it 3 chances and none of them came out the same quality as the other Starbucks'. I still go when I am in that area, but never order Chai Tea there ever again. read more

I am a daily customer of Starbucks. I usually go to the Grapevine or Flower Mound locations but was in the Coppell area for an early morning meeting. First sign this was going to be a problem was it didn't have a drive thru. When I got inside the line was long (this I expected), but it wasn't because of the customers it was because of the staff. They are extremely slow (and I cannot stress this enough); they were holding conversations with the customers (not related to their order); taking their time with the orders. I think maybe 2 people were handling call-ins and the lady at the register although nice but just too slow. The lady handling the walk-in orders was very, very slow. Then one of the staff members that was handling the call-ins finally came over to help the staff member that was preparing the walk-ins and she actually was 2 times faster. Also, there was a customer with a baby that sat her child on the counter where you get your condiments while she waited for her order. Just a little too much for early morning! If I could figure out how to give a negative rating I would. read more
