This McKinley location is conveniently in our favorite spot where we hit the Costco, the 99Ranch and the KababCrush, and it's a hit&miss. Don't do an in person mobile order. They don't even put them in the mobile order spot and keep them behind the counter. I like the mobile order system since I can just grab my drink and go. I had to stand and wait for 10 minutes before someone finally asked if I had a question. They all had their backs turned and they put all orders at ready, but no drinks were on the counter. Then, they give me my drink and it wasn't the correct drink or size. I had to wait extra for the drink to be remade after already waiting for the mobile order being "ready." read more

We went in with our 4 toddlers and while we were waiting the sweet barista brought them 4 little hot chocolates and wrote this kind note on my coffee. I used to come here pretty often when I lived with my parents about a year ago and it was always my go to Starbucks. It's in a really convenient spot by Costco so sometimes I'll still visit after getting gas. My most recent visit will be my last time. Management here has changed and it's pretty clear based on the workers demeanor, I mean the vibe here was usually really really good. Came in the other morning with my parents and one of the workers was belligerent making all this noise literally screaming and it's a really tiny building, making everyone clearly super uncomfortable. Including the other workers. Later found out this was the new manager who my parents have also taken issue with in the past to my knowledge. Can't recommend this spot unfortunately read more

This location has really gone downhill. I used to come all the time before and after work but lately this location seems to have an issue with everything. First of all there are NO outlets so do not come here if you are looking to get some work done. The baristas have been very rude, especially in the morning they always have an attitude and it takes forever to get my drink. I don't know what their issue is with inventory but this location is ALWAYS out of something whether it is drink ingredients or pastries. I asked one of the baristas about it and they told me it was because they're under new management and left it at that. I get my coffee from this location almost everyday. ALL the Baristas are super friendly and fun. They know my order and ask me how I am. The customer service at this location is exceptional. I always think I will switch to home brew but then the staff makes me feel exceptional and brightens my day. They are fast and get me through so I can get on my way to work asap. I wouldn't complain about the wait to them as MOST of the time there are people in the drive-thru that hold everyone up. When thinking through the list of "essentials" for life what comes to mind is underwear (and the art of changing them), getting a pay check, and of course coffee. Everyone obviously knows that nothing coffee wise compares to Starbucks. Would you ever boycott it for any reason? I rest my case. Haha! I have been inhabiting this specific location off and on for many years now and over time I have felt like one of the regulars which does seem nice every now and then when you just feel like a number to the world. For a corporation of all things to have a personal touch is a thing of beauty. Throughout the week I tell the wife "prison coffee" at home is nice, but when the weekends hit we're both "brewing" for some Starbucks. It always that needed punch when it's most needed so kudos more than you know for that. The staff as I said are very pleasant and as you get to know them they get to know you and it certainly creates a more inviting experience overall. It's true like a certain "arch" there is practically one on every corner, but what I appreciate is the attention to detail at this one and I'd be certainly sad if/when I ever move away.
