I like drive through Starbucks locations so I was excited to this one being built. The wait was not long because this place was put up fast! I think it is a good fit for the neighborhood and I have been using it a lot. One of the people working inside was from another Starbucks I used to frequent so it was nice having someone familiar with my drink. I sat outside under the large gable one day to enjoy my drink. Unfortunately, every time I visit, they are out of SOMETHING...so 4-stars will have to do. I also hate that not all of their items are listed on the menu, but I understand that they are a unique location with a walk-up and drive through, but no indoor cafe space. This is just a really bad location. It's on my way to work so I've given it at least 20 chances and kid you not service is mediocre at best. During college I worked at Starbucks in the Pacific NW for over 5 years and it's sad to say that the further south the chain moves the further it gets from their core values like offering exceptional service every time. Here's why this location is a complete failure. 1) Parking is Ridiculous. If you decide to by pass the drive Thur you will be blocked in by other cars in line for the drive Thur and thus have to wait to back out. You will also wait in front of the window with no where to stand because there is no distinguished area for waiting in line to order and waiting in line for your drink. Just chaos. 2) Customers Service is just bad. The baristas are always in bad moods (when I have visited) they just seem unorganized and overwhelmed. How can I tell? I have not once been greeted with a good morning. Only a gaze saying Next! I've had 2 different gentleman and 2 ladies all on different occasions do the same thing. Thus it's typical here. They are completely oblivious to it as well. While waiting in line on the last occasion three baristas just starred at the window, no i'll be with you in a second or anything. By the time the baristas came another woman was standing behind me. Instead of the barista finally acknowledging me she looked past me and asked the lady behind me if she ordered on the app. She than proceeded to grab her drink from the bar and handed it to her before I could simply ask for a tall coffee! Yikes 3) Long waits and inefficient -I have never been in and out in less than 10 minutes. I only order a tall regular coffee no gimmicks lol. It used to be they would take my order and go grab my coffee right away since it did not have to go through to the bar barista but no...here they place you in line after 50 speciality drinks sigh... I hope corporate looks at these reviews and have a secret shopper visit so they could revamp this location. I highly wouldn't recommend this location unless you have at least 20 minutes to maneuver around all of the inefficiencies otherwise you will be gravely disappointed. read more

She handed me two drinks that weren't mine & I told her I asked for a ice caramel macchiato, she she didn't hear but yet I paid for two drinks...? Everyone was so confused there. I like that there is no inside for people to spend their entire day drinking one drink and soaking up the free wifi. On the other hand the drive thru takes a while sometimes and was completely closed on 8/28. They only get three stars because I've attempted to walk up to the window in hopes of beating the drive thru line and watched about 5-6 cars get their drinks before me. First in this review I would like to start with something positive about this particular location. I truely love the way they have landscaped the place. Very southwestern motiff, very water usage consciousness by using native plants and not having a lawn out front. I would encourage more businesses in the Dallass area to do the same and then maybe Texass wouldn't be suing Jokelahoma for access to water. What I DON'T like is that it is a drive-thru/walkup combo off a relatively busy street. Cars are piled back on the road trying to get in, cars just sit there idling and wasting gas waiting to place an order. People who park in their miniscule lot to try and walk-up have a difficult time getting their cars out. Helping the environment with responsible landscaping vs killing the air with dozens (thru the day) of cars running while parked and adding to the poor air quality is a rather confusing corporate message. The service at the walk-thru is rather slow as well. Not a very well thought out offering from Starbucks in my opinion. read more

Be careful exiting...it's narrow and you could easily hop the curb on your passenger side. It's a drive thru only Starbucks, line can get pretty long sometimes but it moves relatively quickly. The walk up window is slower than the drive thru so I suggest you just enjoy the ac while you wait. But no complaints about actual coffee but they have given me the wrong size before so just check your order. read more

Love this starbucks! It is located right next to my work place so I can grab me a Frappuccino right after work whenever I am craving it. This location is one of the smaller stand alone locations with no indoor area. They have a small seating area outside that is covered where you can also order drinks at the window. The customer here is greatttt. The employees are extra friendly and greet you right away. They are always smiling. I always get me a green tea Frappuccino and it always tastes great. This is definitely one of the better starbuck locations with a great staff even though most the orders are though the drive thru. I have never had a bad experience and never have received bad customer service. read more

Okay, what's not to love about Starbucks. Per usual the food and drinks were on par. However, the weird (or cool, depending on what you like!) is that there is no indoor seating at this location. I absolutely love coming to this Starbucks. Not just for the overpriced coffee and convenience but it is probably the best service I have honesty had anywhere or in a long time. Stopped in here one day while waiting for some place to open. I mean, it's just another Starbucks, with their overpriced everything, but it has a nice little patio behind the store that's "somewhat" shaded. But the really neat thing I liked, is it has an outside walk up order window. I can't believe they came up with such a good idea. The positive note about this location is the fact that it wasn't packed on a Saturday afternoon and our drinks was tasty. My party was the only group there so it was fun however I would have preferred to have my drinks indoor with air conditioner. It's a cute concept but terrible for summer Texas weather the negative aspect of this review is the customer service. We waited for 5 min at the window and no one came to take our order and once someone came to the window she informed us she is unable to take our order because she was locked out of the computer...So we waited another five minutes for the manager to get there are unlock the computer. read more

This Starbucks is my all time favorite location and I frequent it on the daily. I drive a little out of my way to go to this one as the Lemmon Ave and Oakland locations are closer, but I love the service I get at the Maple location. Devon is top notch and knows my drink order right when I pull up to to order. Everyone at this location is so nice and helpful. My drink is always perfect! When I say I always stop here on my way into work. I mean every day I work. It's still my 2nd favorite location, but they never mess up a phone order and it's always out within a reasonable amount of time. Tip to the wise: if the line is long, and you don't want to get trapped in the parking lot, just park at that random restaurant next door that never seems to be open and just walk over. If you need to get in and out why not just place a phone order 5 minutes before you get there and just walk up and grab it? Saves me so much time and with my savvy parking, I never get stuck with a long drive thru line behind me, unable to back out. read more

I wish you could break up the score on these reviews. I go to this Starbucks maybe twice a week and the customer service and staff is always 5-stars. Whoever hires these folks is great at their job. My drink order has been messed up a time or two, but accidents happen. That being said, the layout is horrible. If the line spills out onto the street and you opt for the walk-up option, getting out of the parking lot is a nightmare. I have just parked out on the street next to it just to avoid getting blocked in. Also, the signage is set off from the street a little so it's hard to see it coming from the east on Maple but they sure as hell stick the management company sign out far enough to see it. read more

I'm a loyal Starbucks customer and buy coffee several times a week... of all the locations I've been to, this has got to be the worst one. They've gotten my last 3 orders wrong. Even the drinks that they make right are not well made as they are often watered down or bland. This location is right by my apartment, so I keep trying to make it work thinking things will be different. Always a let down!!
