I was staying at the Westin off the galleria for work and appreciated the friendliness and efficiency of this Starbucks. First, it's super easy to get to from the hotel. It's located within the mall and the only thing open at 6 AM! I placed my mobile order every morning four days in a row and each day it was ready and under seven minutes (probably faster because it was always ready when I got there each time). I was greeted with a warm welcome from the staff each time I walked in the door and my order was made exactly to my specifications and tasted exactly how I expected. The service was great, welcomed in right when I walked in. My drink and food item were prepared perfectly!

Service was pretty quick. I ordered a caramel cold coffee with extra caramel. It was tasted. Size large (vinte or whatever they call large).

Was trying to get to work and the shop was supposed to open at 6:30.... Workers were not ready till serve us until 6:48. They said they showed up late and it was going to be awhile. Very poor service from employees. read more

How does Starbucks hire such nice people? Gosh! The baristas are always just so happy! We stopped in this Galleria Starbucks for some drinks. The place was pretty busy, as expected but those baristas kept churning out drink after drink! They nailed our order of a cold brew, iced latte and Frappuccino. The vanilla bean frappe was for our girls and I asked for a separate cup so I could split it... the wonderful barista offered to split it for me AND topped both of them with mounds of whipped cream for my kiddos. It was so very nice of her! (I've been told at another Starbucks that they weren't able to split it for me and I had to do it myself) which is why this took me by pleasant surprise. read more

This location is notable because it is FAST. Starbucks was smart with this one because it gets a lot of traffic and they make sure to staff appropriately. If you experienced something else, I can tell you after 20+ visits here that you probably just caught them on a day someone called in sick. I've been working in the office building attached to the mall and so we go here WAY more often than we should (my sad, sad bank account...) and they have never made a mistake on any of my drink orders! My experience today was extremely negative. The attitude of the employees appeared to be that "they just didn't care." No Splenda and only plastic stir sticks that didn't reach half way in to the cup, No wooden stir sticks. The cafe itself is very small and that's the only reason for not being a five star review. Employees there are awesome. It's always really busy there, but it's the Galleria, you should expect that.
