Don't bother during morning hours especially. Crazy busy. The line is usually 15 plus people deep and wraps around the place. Everyone who decides not to step out of the line and leave the place after standing in one place for 10 minutes has a nasty puss on their faces. This location is small and feels dumpy actually. Just do yourself a favor and run to the mobile station next door and get some green mountain coffee which is better in my opinion anyway. I'd stay away from this location! read more

I was in the area for a few days and every time I came into this Starbucks, the line was out of control. This would be forgive able if not for the fact that often there would be an employee fulfilling basic chores instead of making coffee. Whoever is managing this store needs to instill priorities into the staff. If there are 20 people in line, perhaps it's a good idea to put the clipboard aside and make a coffee or two. read more

Pretty standard Starbucks with a small selection of pastries, Kind bars, etc. in addition to coffee. Overpriced but convenient. I come here occasionally for an Americano when I stop to get gas at the station across the parking lot. The employees are pleasant and the wait is shorter than some locations. Honestly the worst Starbucks experience I have had in CT. I have been ordering 10 pump iced chai tea latte for almost two years now so I know how it's supposed to look, taste, etc. I ordered my usual drink through my mobile app. I quickly picked up my drink and headed to the grocery store nearby to run errands. First off when I went to the grocery store I noticed my drink looked very pale and milky I knew right off the bat it was made wrong. Ten chai is a lot of chai and the drink should be brown in color and look like iced coffee if done correctly. This chai tasted like watered down milk I couldn't even drink it. I was unhappy I couldn't drink it and my boyfriend convinced me to go back and ask them to remake my drink. Now I know mistakes are made and I even felt bad in the first place to ask them to remake it. But when I asked the barista to remake it whose name was John btw he gave me nasty attitude and said he made the drink correctly and that I was lying to him. I have been to plenty of Starbucks over the years and never is 10 pump chai supposed to look and taste like watered down milk. John's coworker told him to just remake the drink John then rolled his eyes at me and gave me the dirtiest look I then watched him remake the drink. He did very quick pumps pressing it down only a quarter of the way and he did only five pumps. He did it very quickly and angrily and shoved the drink at me on the counter almost spilling it and quickly walked away. I was so upset with the lack of customer service and his attitude was towards me that I was in the verge of tears and just ran out of Starbucks. My boyfriend was in the car I told him what happened and that he still made the drink wrong obviously done on purpose. My boyfriend got upset took my drink back and had them remake it again he said he doesn't care if he had to pay more money he just wanted them to make it right. My boyfriend came back and it was made right this time. I don't understand what John's problem was or why he had to treat me with attitude and disrespect that was completely uncalled for. If you make a mistake fix it and own up to it don't tell the customer that they are lying, give an attitude, then continue to make the same mistake just because your pissed off and him basically throwing the drink at me was very disrespectful and uncalled for. I hope he either gets retrained or fired. But either way I'm never going to that location ever again. read more

Worst Starbucks customer service ever. Ordered ham/swiss sandwich this morning. Went to counter to wait for sandwich. After patiently waiting a few minutes, asked the girl about the status of the order. She said they were out of the sandwich. I asked when the employees were going to inform the customer waiting for the sandwich that it was out. Just got a blank stare. Rod Serling would be proud of this Starbucks because the employee's heads are in the Twilight Zone. read more

Great location, good coffee, and long lines. This place is always packet. Not too many cozy spots to sit and read, but there is a row of tables. No drive-thru. Three stars bc of lines, no drive thru, and the shopping center is not an easy in and out. read more

This is one of the nicest Starbucks shops in the area: roomy, comfortable for longer stays, nicer views at the window tables. It's too bad that the service doesn't live up to the setting. I've come here at different times of the day, and there is typically one member who knows his/her stuff and is up to the pace and quality surrounded by a team that act like they don't even like coffee, never mind getting things right for those who do. I bought a pound of beans, and asked to have them ground for cold brew. The clerk asked me "what model"? I say "cold brew" because it doesn't matter what model, you soak the grounds in cold water for 12-24 hours. He says "I have know what number." I say just make it as coarse as you can get it. I get home to prep my batch, and find my $16 bag of coffee filled with espresso powder, which would make the concentrate end up tasting like a rusty chain. Stick to the stores on Old Newton Road (Hi Dawn!!), North Street, and Federal Road. They know their business and act professionally. read more

This is by far the worst Starbucks I've ever been to. I've been here before, had a bad experience but thought I'd give it another chance a few months later. Nothing's changed. The main issue is the staffing. I was here during a busy time, 6:30pm on a weekday, and there was one staff member on the register and another making drinks. The line was to the door. It took about 25 min in total to get my drink. The barista also seemed to lose the order of the drinks that were ordered as people that ordered after me, received their drinks before I did. Overall it was a mess. Not worth the wait for the drink I received. Will not be back. read more

This location serves up the lowest-quality chai lattes of any Starbucks I've been to (e.g., NYC, Seattle, Sarasota airport). But it's the most conveniently located. i come to mill plains store 3 out of 5 days a week and enjoy the chai tea latte. always made just the way i ask. staff is pleasant, friendly and helpful, when i question different drinks. never found the place to be dirty and i do get nosy and look over the counter! a few times it has been over packed and see the students at the tables working on their laptops, but still there is room to relax. read more
