5/5 Perfect Spot Warm hospitality beats everything else Visited on a Saturday around 2 PM and was greeted by the sweetest Filipino cashier whose name I, unfortunately, forgot--but their kindness left a lasting impression. We ordered a black coffee with hazelnut and tried the new summer berry refresher. While the drinks themselves were just average in taste, the real standout was the service. The cashier's friendliness felt genuine, not forced, and created a naturally welcoming vibe that made the whole experience feel special. It's places like this that remind you--it's not always about the product, but the people behind the counter that keep you coming back.

My pumpkin cream chai is literally milk. I love paying $7 for my drink to be made incorrectly.

This Starbucks is located in the Diamond Hills Plaza Shopping Center with the main entrance at Sugarpine Pl off of Diamond Bar Blvd. The shopping center is lower than the main road so not all of the stores are visible from the street. They have a drive thru lane, but I normally opt for parking my car and getting my food and drink inside. The staff are usually efficient, friendly, and will welcome you when you enter. It's really convenient to order ahead on their mobile app. More often than not, my order is ready when I get there. My normal order is their bacon, sausage & egg wrap and a Caffé Americano. The quality is on par for any Starbucks that I've visited.

Drink quality sucks, orders the frozen energy drink and they originally handed my the wrong drink, they took it back and looks like they added some the syrup n blended, but very shitty. There is no slush to the drink just blended ice and fully liquid and it's all foam 1/4 top cup Horrible product service,

The black tea tapiochi doesn't really have any flavor but the brown sugar tapiochi has the distinct roasted taste, which adds more character to the popcorn milk tea. So I got the popcorn milk tea and I feel like that's the only thing I only want from them now. It's a strong toasty tea blend with rich creamy buttery popcorn flavor, tastes just like a cereal milk or almost like a corn milk! A small but cozy hangout spot with some minimal aesthetic decors, it was half packed with teens and adults around 8pm on a Sunday but plenty parking outside. Service was fast and nice. However, the bar must have been raised too high by the excellent in-house service, because I had an experience that turned my views completely sour. I commented on their Grand Opening instagram post, which contained AI-generated art. My comment was deleted and once I pointed that out, I was blocked shortly after this, within minutes. Now I get that businesses can do as they desire, however, this instantly repulsed me because it feels like they don't care about their community. Additionally, it reflects on them as a business in which they handle criticism, something that is inevitable when you serve the community. (They turned off the comments, as well.) They unblocked me to send me a message the following day, which I included in this review. Go here if you are looking for coffee close to you, but if you care about the full picture such as ethical labor practices, customer service, usage of AI, and attention to detail, I'm not sure if this is the right place for you. Specialty drinks are not cheap, and I'm thankful that Outpost showed me their true colors before I spent even more money here. They reminded me that there are other small family-owned businesses out there who also spend 100+ hour workweeks and don't treat people like this.

I had stopped by because I wanted to get a croffle for myself. Of course, trying their coffee was also on my to do list. We stopped by on a Sunday morning, and quickly got to place our order. My fiancé ordered their tonic and of course, I ordered their Banana Cream Latte. I also scored their last plain croffle of the day and also got their everything seasoning croffle. It didn't take long for us to get our coffee or our pastry. Their plain croffle was good, but I wished we had the option to have it warmed up. Their everything seasoned croffle was decent if you want a savory pastry. My banana cream latte was strong, but wasn't strong in banana flavoring. I mixed my cream too towards the bottom, and still found barely taste it. The baristas here are also very aesthetic and silly. They had a great time making coffee and taking orders. The art here is stunning. There's also plenty of study space with cushioning available. It's a lovely concept. I think I'll have to come back to try a different drink.

What I love most here is the ordering experience. There are multiple large touchscreens where you can fully customize your drink -- sugar level, ice level, add-ons, substitutions, you name it. I almost always go for zero sugar, and the fact that I can do that easily is a huge plus for me. It's the kind of flexibility that modern boba shops should all offer. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable, which is refreshing compared to some other spots in the area. Is it the most amazing boba I've ever had? Honestly, no -- but the ability to build your drink exactly the way you want it more than makes up for it. There's also a large display screen showing order status, so you always know when your drink is ready. It's a small touch, but it makes the whole experience feel smooth and stress-free. I'll be real though -- I probably drink more coffee from the Starbucks across the street than boba from here. At the end of the day, coffee feels like the healthier daily habit. But when I'm in the mood for something different, this place is where I'll be.

There are so many tea and boba shops opening now...startups or from Asia, and honestly most of them…read moreare disappointing. Some of the most popular and hyped-up shops have weak tea flavors, yet their wait times and sales are through the roof. Maybe it's placebo, maybe it's the hype...and today, I was invited to try ChaHalo's new Lychee Series, and these are my honest thoughts. (Also the shop is in a busy parking lot with lots of restaurants, stores, and grocery. The shop has very cushy chairs!) I tried all of the lychee drinks at 100% sweetness and tasted them immediately, as the ice started to settle, and again after the ice completely melted and am impressed that the flavors held up through each stage. I'd get them again except for the smoothie. Lychee Oolong Milk Tea: This was my favorite. It's milky with a pleasant sweetness, but neither the milk nor sweetness overpowers the oolong tea or lychee - the flavors were harmonious. The lychee adds just a tiny bit of tartness, while the oolong is fragrant without being too strong and they create a buttery flavor. Lychee Smoothie: This one was my least favorite, but mostly because I'm just not a huge smoothie person unless there's some creaminess to it. The smoothie also melts a little too quickly for my preference. There was a generous amount of house made lychee jelly, and I really liked it. The jelly didn't taste watered down at all. Every sip was smooth and pleasant, and the jelly added both a nice texture and an extra layer of lychee flavor. Lychee Jasmine Lemon Tea: This had a really nice sweetness, and again, the flavors worked well together. The jasmine tea was prominent, while the lemon was mild and added a pleasant fragrance without making the drink too sour. It also wasn't bitter, very light and refreshing. I want to point out: I actually hate the flavor of canned lychee. I love fresh lychee fruit, but canned lychee has a very distinct flavor that I personally don't enjoy. Canned lychee is used at probably almost every boba shop, so it's something to be mindful of when ordering lychee drinks. You should expect that distinct canned-lychee flavor rather than fresh lychee but depends on how the shop uses it. (same with longan) I think ChaHalo used it well. The lychee flavor was noticeable without completely taking over the tea, and the drinks continued to taste good even as the ice melted.
