This location needs to fix that HUGE pothole right in front of the ordering screen. I had to yell my order cause I was not putting my tire through all that. My eldest daughter and I were in the Rowland Heights area. I remember there is a 7 Leaves Cafe within the vicinity. So here we are... This is actually an updated review. I went through the drive-thru instead of walking up. I got my favorite drink which is the Green Thai Tea with custard pudding and crystal boba. My daughter got the Strawberry Hibiscus Tea with crystal boba. Both with no ice. The drinks were amazingly refreshing and delightful. What I love about 7 Leaves is that they don't skimp on two inches of tea just because the customer asks for no ice. I know some boba places do do that. Thank you 7 Leaves for being true to your craft! Staff was super friendly and nice. Btw, they do have one restroom for use... it's located in the back of the shop on the outside. The only gripe I have about this place is its location. It is at the busiest spot on Fullerton Rd. Parking is very limited. You can't turn into it when you're heading south on Fullerton Rd. You can only turn into it when you're heading north on Fullerton Rd. Be prepared to wait for traffic to clear before exiting the premises. Good luck! read more

I've been to quite a few 7 Leaves in Socal now and for the most part each one of them is consistent with their drinks. What's different about this location however is when you're not doing drive through, you have to order from an outdoor window rather than going inside to order. They still have indoor seating but it feels quite disconnected. 7 Leaves was promoting this Brazilian lemonade drink so I decided to try it out. It was quite refreshing especially since it has been a hot week in the San Gabriel Valley. I liked it but I don't think it would be my go to. Would recommend it if you're wanting to try something new! I've noticed that all 7 leaves have pretty good customer service, but this place probably has the best one. I ordered two house coffees, easy sweet and it had the perfect taste. What I like most is, even though I usually order from the drive-through, which most people do at this location, I don't feel rushed and I'm always asked if there's anything else I needed. Super nice staff! Tip: If you're coming down from Harbor/Fullerton road make a left on Colima and a right where the Auto shop/Carls I think is and go all the way down, then make a right. I've been coming to this location frequently since it's the closest one to me on my way to work and the drive thru window service has always been quick, easy, and hassle free. The only difficult part about this location is that if you are coming from Colima street, you have to make a left across a double yellow which can be difficult if there is oncoming traffic but that just be how it is sometimes haha. So far, this is my favorite location because the staff is so accommodating and informative about what is new and how to make the most of each visit. It wasn't until I came to this location that I: signed up for the app, used my leaves rewards for the first time, tried the house coffee (which is now my go to instead of just getting boba tea), got offered a healthcare worker discount for the first time, and claimed my first birthday rewards drink through the app. Even though I had difficulty with claiming my birthday drink on the app and there was perhaps a misunderstanding on my part of how to claim the drink, the employee was exceptionally understanding and got me my free birthday drink and I thought that really made the experience for me. This particular location has a drive thru service which is a plus. It's probably due to the location , but LOVE that they have it. However, because I wanted to check out the place, decided to get out of the car and place my order. There are parking stalls behind the building of this establishment. I walked inside the building and I was expecting a counter (like all the other 7 Leaves that I've been to) to place my order. To my surprise, orders are place outside of the building; a walk up window. They have a ringer, door bell type, in case no one is there to greet you right away. They have ample seating outside in front of the establishment as well as inside to the side of the building. I ordered my favorite, Sea Salt Jasmine Green Tea and as usual, made to my complete satisfaction. I was greeted in a nice manner by the employee who took my order. It was not busy at the time I went there, but based on the seating that they have, it looks like it could be on the weekends. A great place to hang out with friends. Simply chose this place for the drive thru because of a sleeping baby in the car. I got the oolong milk tea and my daughter got the taro. Something about the cream that was used for the drink made it stand out from many other boba places we've been to. It's really creamy, delicious, and elevates the drink! There was a perfect sweetness and boba proportioning in both of our drinks (yes, there is such a thing as too much boba). The building itself doesn't look the greatest as far as outdoor seating and landscaping goes, but the convenience of the drive thru made it worth it for me. I've tried the: Sea Cream Jasmine tea, mung bean milk, assam milk tea, soy matcha, and the sunset passion. Most of these drinks are sweet and pretty yummy. I think the mung bean milk was a bit grainy, but to be expected from this kind of drink. You can ask for extra plum in the sunset passion for no extra charge. Prices are reasonable, and the staff is helpful and gets things done quickly and efficiently for both drive through or walk in. There is an app that you can earn rewards points. I'm not a big celebrator of Christmas but I still wanted to treat myself to some boba so I looked for some places that was open on Christmas day and 7 Leaves was one of them. The drive through line was solid but not packed, and it moved pretty quickly. I ordered the Japanese Matcha Tea ($4.50) with Honey Boba (65 cents). I usually get my boba drinks with half sweetness but this time I decided to just leave it as it's meant to be, and I was pretty happy that I did. It didn't seem too sweet for me. I've tried other drinks from 7 Leaves but I think that the Matcha Tea is my new favorite. The boba was the perfect consistency. It was soft and chewy and you can taste the honey in it. It was also still warm at the bottom of the cup when we received our drinks. Like I said the line moved pretty quickly and the transaction went smoothly as well. From when I left to where I went to take them for my coworkers I was already done with my drink when it isn't even a 15 min drive. My drink was specifically easy ice and tell me why I see that More then Half of the drink was ice. When I looked at the rest of the drinks they were the same more ice than the actual drink. I called them and the one who answered assured me that they made them well. Then the barista, who was also the manager, read to me the recipe and told me when they ask for easy ice they add more half and half and a shot more. But still didn't explain why my easy ice drink still had the same amount of ice as a regular iced drink. I got frustrated and asked for a refund and the manager told me she couldn't but she could give me a refund remake instead. In which I hope next time around they give me easy ice. OH and honorable mention that the barista gave me all 5 drinks caramel macchiato when I asked for 4 CM and one house coffee (she called back and refunded me that drink). I drove down to LA from SF this weekend and had to gas up. I remembered there was a 7 leaves in Rowland Heights now and figured I could get a coffee for Monday. I never came here before since it's just a drive thru, but that would work out for me this time since I was itching to get home. I used their mobile app to get a regular house coffee with no ice since I was going to put it in the fridge anyway. First off, I must say that this location is terrible. I was driving down Colima and turned onto Fullerton going in the wrong direction to get here. I had to pull into another street to make a u turn to go in the right direction. Upon leaving, I was super fortunate that the traffic light deities smiled at me as it was all clear. But if you know Rowland Heights, you know Fullerton and Colima are the busiest roads. I can imagine getting stuck waiting for cars for forever if you weren't lucky. Now onto the drink! It looked great at first, but I misplaced the straw so had to open the lid and pour into a mug. Upon opening the lid, I noticed it was only 3/4 full! I thought maybe they had given me a large size cup on accident? But I definitely got the regular size. After telling a friend and reading through numerous reviews who have also run into this problem with 7 leaves, I concluded that it's because I marked the "no ice" option. Upon looking in the app, they have a "no ice, extra pour" option for $1.50! So that means they pretty much only fill the cup 75% each time on purpose. I've had it happen once or twice at other places where the no ice option resulted in less drink portion, but it wasn't a standard.
