I got their specialty iced latte. It took a ehile to be made, as she was busy with other people's ice cream orders. It actually tastes really good. Not excessively sweet. Just the right balance of sweetness and flavor. Definitely refreshing on such a hot day. We also got some of their ice creams. Its nice they let us taste them before ordering. Cuz not all places are like that anymore... their ice creams also tasted pretty good. Nice amount of sugar and flavor and creaminess. I love how this place have all these random signs hanging up. They were all unique. Extremely funny and relatable!! Some seating area inside. Our group of 12 basically took them all. But theres also about 2 tables outside as well. Solid ice cream shop. I had seen some negative reviews about the customer service and wanted to see for myself if it was really that bad. Surprisingly, the service was friendly, and I didn't experience any attitude at all. I'm hoping the service stays this consistent. The plaza location is convenient, with other stores and restaurants nearby. The inside is a decent size, and parking wasn't bad either. Overall, a solid experience.

Michael's Market is like a convenience store (c-store), but it's loaded with beer, wine and tobacco items. It has a fountain area and wide variety of snacks and candy. For awhile it was the only neighborhood shop around. But now the Discovery Bay shopping center is right next door. Yes, I saw the Confederate flag. But the clerk was friendly and helpful. I was wearing my work uniform w/ ID. People with jobs usually have money to spend. Michael's Market is a well stocked c-store that can save you a trip down the road to the Safeway shopping center. Shell gas prices were about average for the SF Bay Area. Located on the corner of Discovery Bay Blvd & Riverlake Rd.

If I were Michael I would find anyone with any personality immediately instead of letting these rejects be the "welcoming" face of your store. They make me feel like a complete burden at best.
