If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I travel a lot from the bay area to reno and this is one of the only starbucks I stop at because they are amazing. In being a past starbucks barista, I can say that even I am impressed. They have always had great customer service and are quick in the drive through. They always make my semi-complicated (past barista) drink correct. 10/10 and I will always be back!! read more

I've been to Starbucks, well everywhere. Here in the US as well as internationally. The Dixon Starbucks is my favorite. DRINKS For the most part Starbucks is pretty consistent wherever you go. There is some variation of course depending on the skill of the particular barista that makes your drink but I've never been to a location where it's uniformly great or terrible. I appreciate boutique coffee shops too, like Four Barrel in SF, so I know the difference between higher end gourmet coffee and mass market beans. SERVICE Here's where the difference lies. The Dixon staff is across the board extremely personable, competent, and friendly. This location can get pretty busy but they manage to keep the wait really short. I make a point to stop here on my way to work as often as I can. Temporary Note: They are currently expanding and remodeling until Labor Day 2012 I believe. It's still open - they're working out of a temporary facility located in the parking lot. Cramped quarters for them, but they're making it work still! read more

OK... I have the I-80 commute to Woodland from Vacaville and I would look over at the long line at the Dixon Starbucks and wonder why anyone would wait that long....in a drive-thru! I would literally say out loud "Go inside fools!" But I would continue on to Davis-where I would stop. So one day, I thought I would find out why so many people used this location and I jumped to the end of the line....completely wrapped around one side of the building and down the other about half-way. I looked at my clock... 7:14am. I was SHOCKED AND AMAZED! I not only constantly moved in the line, I had my coffee, paid and was driving away in less than 6 minutes! AND it was the best iced-mocha EVER!! ( I hate warm-iced mochas!) So-- lets add it up.. Fast service, friendly staff, COLD iced drinks...yup, this is MY STORE now! read more

Oh my, was I impressed with the make over of this place! I went in last week to find a spacious Starbucks with plenty of tables and wall outlets. You will not feel overcrowded because the tables are seriously feet apart. To top it off, it is open till 11pm on weekdays. I think that this will be my new study spot when in Dixon. read more

Very happy to report that this Starbucks has totally gotten its act together! I moved back to Sonoma County since my last review, and this location has undergone some serious expansion and remodeling. It is now much bigger and has spacious seating inside that would make a great study environment or meeting spot for friends to catch up. They now have a true outside seating area, and landscaped area out front/on the side. The drive through was also changed slightly to accommodate cars better with the tight turn, and there is a landscaped island for better separation between the line of cars waiting for coffee and people who are driving through the parking lot. Much more aesthetically pleasing and spacious, and they actually made my coffee correctly. I no longer have any complaints! To the people running this location, thank you for the improvements. read more

Starbucks is Starbucks - I mean really - what is there to complain about? My favorite cup of coffee - well a Grande No-Foam Vanilla Latte - comes from Starbucks, but... Dixon is a small town and the various non-profit organizations (schools, sports, etc...) of Dixon are extremely reliant on the generosity of our local businesses. It was deeply disappointing that after a Starbucks shift leader gave a verbal approval of Starbucks support, then we later learned that Starbucks would not be able to fulfill the donation commitment. Luckily Dutch Bros., new in town, saved the day and was able to fulfill our need. Besides that little comment, the staff at this location is fabulous and do an excellent job of making fast work of the long drive through line. read more

Traveled from out of town and finally stopped for coffee, get a flat in their parking lot from a huge chunk of concrete I hit (my bad I'm driving tired) long story short the hours say open at 4:30 but they weren't open until 8am, okay, so I waited for my tire to get repaired then when "open" went to get my coffee...nope. No in store orders... but once again online and on the app says they're accepting in store orders. So homeless, those w/o cars are fucked? No coffee for anyone in this city without a car? I've never had a problem with this Starbucks until today. I had my boyfriend go pick up an order I put in on the app for him and I and they didn't give him our food items. So once he gets home and realizes, he drives all the way back to go get them. So I call the store and I believe Jesse answered (I can't remember if that was his name). I call to complain and try to be nice at first until he says that they don't have the food item I ordered. I ask if there's something else I can get since my boyfriend was already on his way back, and he said let me see what we have left so I said okay. Then, they find what I ordered. Okay, cool but that doesn't make up for us wasting time and gas to go back and get it. To top it off, at the end of the call he said "have a good day" in the most sarcastic tone. I've never been more unhappy with someone's customer service skills at Starbucks. read more

This store is very loud and hard to study in. I like to get out of the house to study, and living in Dixon there aren't many options. I put head phones in and listen to my own music but frequently their music is up so loud that I have to blast my music to hear it over theirs. When the store gets slow the employees are often goofing off and being very loud. The drinks and food are the same as everywhere, the staff is over all nice, but if they ever open a second store in Dixon I will for sure move my studying over there. I understand that it's not a library, but you can hardly care on a conversation with somebody sitting next to you. read more

This place they fills the cups to the top with ice to full capacity two sips and you are done drinking your liquid of a venti size , the lady handed me the food and gave me one napkin for three sandwiches and we had to split 1 napkin with three people, probably the order of additional ice on the drinks comes from the ceo to make up for the loses due to the pandemic, as well of the price increase on the drinks and saving on napkin, and by the way the additional ice on the drinks is every where, not just this location. I tried several locations from SF to Sacramento and is everywhere. read more

I miss the good ole days when SOMEONE remembered my name. Anyone. No more. 103 visits and counting, just since I started yelping, so about 2 of the 12+ years since it opened. I digress... The remodel has easily made this the largest starbucks I've ever seen, and I've seen many. I love the industrial, almost steampunk feel. Very current. And I barely remember the Quiznos that was formerly 1/2 of this space. I do not like the looong line. I've been here when I was 15th in line, there are 12 as I type. Those two CHP officers are hoping they don't get a call before their mocha. You'll likely notice that no matter how long though, there is only one open register. I'm told this is to enhance the customer connection. Does that translate to "customer-browsing-retail" time? I'll be back of course. And likely buy that cute mug I've seen the last 64 visits. This location ALWAYS has a seat, an outlet, a blueberry muffin, a clean available bathroom stall, you get the idea. The drive thru also can take ages. ***Update*** Lately this store has been quicker (at least during my visits. And Vanessa is such a pleasant smiling face that my experiences lately are much improved. I love happy employees! read more

This location was conveniently open on Christmas day, and the last thing I wanted to do on Christmas was head to a store for coffee or food. Since my family was on the road to San Francisco Airport to pick up my parents, we needed some coffee. The store was incredibly busy, and we were very understanding. Once my fiancé and I were invited to the register to order our drinks, the Barista did not even greet us or welcome us. She ignored us for a moment because the printer was having trouble. As soon as she got assistance, we placed our order and went away. As my family and I waited in the lounge, we admired the location as it was large and had nice decorations. We also looked through the discounted items, which were still pricy. After 20 minutes, we noticed customers who came after us were already leaving. So, I asked a Barista (a gentleman with blonde, short cut, wavy hair) and he stated, "we're swamped. Your drink is in line." He did not ask for my name or which drink in line was mine. That was his quick response. I completely get it- you're busy and it's Christmas. I wouldn't want to work either! But your customers are waiting! So, another customer also asked the same Barista, I assumed he was expediting drinks, and the Barista had the same response, "we're swamped. Your drink is in line," and he also rolled his eyes. That's when my Brother-In-Law stepped in announcing that customers have come and gone, we've waited 20 minutes, and you are saying drinks are in line but have not even checked. After informing the Barista of our drinks (as well as 2 other customers' drinks), the Barista was quiet because WE all saw him fix the printer (see above) which just printed the stickers to our drinks. No apology. No empathy. Nothing. On top of it all, my drink was made incorrectly, twice... I even told the Barista it was an iced Americano... Sad to say, another Starbucks with poorly rated customer service. read more

This particular Starbucks has a rather large indoor seating area. On Saturday morning there were at least eight barista's on staff and the line moved quite quickly. The shelves were well stocked and the seating area was immaculate! We would definitely return. read more

This idiot wouldn't take back the drink so I put it on the metal platform outside the drive thru window, but she would take MY PHONE that I had in my hand mind you I touched that and she could take the phone but not the bad drink. This Starbucks is local and close to my house. They just put a patio outside with tables which is really nice! Great selection of coffees and teas. Everyone is nice. The Internet works great and its nice environment to have meeting at too! Its a very relaxing Starbucks and I enjoy this one a lot as I have a lot of meetings held in Starbucks due to clients-brides. The drive through is awesome. The service is super fast and it's close to the freeway. The baristas are also pretty friendly, and their drinks are usually better than other Starbucks locations. The only reason I wouldn't rate it a 5 is because it's not open 24 hours like it used to be. read more

This spot is conveniently located off I80. Great for hitting it and going where you need to Go. The inside has gone through a huge renovation recently and now keeps up with modern trend that is displayed in all other locations. The kids working there arent the most professional and don't have your drinks ready or even started by time you get to the window most times. The drive through line is always backed up. If you go inside to avoid the drive through lines, you will be held up by all the school kids spending their lunch money and talking with all their friends working at the time. It's hard to get a pastry or sweet treat because they never have any available when you order. read more

I have been to this Starbucks on a daily basis for many years. It is one of the larger Starbucks in Northern California so I have heard. Parking can be a bit tight. But there's plenty of seating inside of Starbucks. There are bathrooms which most of the time are very clean. The lines can be long but they moved very quickly. read more

I went through the drive thru a couple of weeks ago and forgot to write my review. I went thru and was the only car and I got my drink promptly and with excellent guest service from Mel and Brenna. The drink was amazing and they were really sweet and funny. After having a hard day it was just the pick me up I needed. I've been going through whenever I can now because this service should not go unnoticed and each time Im more and more impressed with the staff. I end up here a lot with my mother in law and her partner because they live right down the street. Some Starbucks have a corporate, cold, unfriendly feeling but this one has almost a mom and pop, stop and hang out vibe going. They all know my mom in law and her partner (and their two dogs) by name and are super friendly. The drinks are good quality, though the coffee itself still has that burnt taste. Opt for one of their fruit teas and you won't be sorry. read more

Matt that served us in the drive thru was EXTREMELY disrespectful. He didn't acknowledge us, greet or even respond when we wanted to add a boxed juice for my daughter.
