Nami ramen is a fun ramen shop on the borders of Denver and Parker. After looking at what they had…read moreto offer, it was hard for me to choose, but I eventually settled on Vegetable Ramen with a side of Shiitake Mushroom buns, while my brother ordered a spicy Poké bowl with a side of Pork Buns. The chefs know how to plate their food because everything came out looking delicious and beautiful. My brother was nice enough to let me grab a couple of pictures of his food before he started eating, which was greatly appreciated. My shiitake buns were delicious, and I wanted more when I finished the two I ordered. It was a nice, low-spice taste with a wonderfully soft bun that held everything together well. Definitely would have ordered more if not for the big bowl of ramen that came shortly after. Vegetable Ramen can be a tough dish to make tasty, as ramen typically uses animal broths to hold the flavor, but Nami did an excellent job. All the toppings they used fit perfectly, especially the fried tofu, which is my favorite go-to for any ramen restaurant. If you are in the area and want a filling meal, go check out Nami Ramen!

The spot had been vacant for quite some time but just this morning, I received a text message from Lavender Coffee about their newest location. When I checked it to see where it was, I was shocked to find out that it's the very ex-Caribou location. I got excited so I wasted no time to rush to it. This new location (like the Pearl St location) has so much chicness to it. Very modern. And it's almost like an art gallery at a glance. All those framed art decorations are nicely displayed in one spot on the wall; its interior design is that of a museum. Baked goods are plenty; both sweet and savory kinds. I asked the lady upfront which ones were which. I decided to go with the Turkey kind. For a drink I boringly decided to go with my usual: doppio. I need to be a bit more adventurous to try out something I have never tried before. It's okay; I can always go back to it in a few weeks. By then, I am pretty sure that their exterior signage will be a permanent one. As of this writing, I have not tried my coffee or the pastry so there is more to come in this review. Yet I have no doubt that both of them will be as delicious and wonderful as the ones I had purchased at their Pearl St location. Well, this new location might become my go-to coffee shop moving forward. People/readers, you got to check it out soon!! P.S. Now that I am home, I am adding this little piece of information after I consumed the turkey pastry and doppio. As I had anticipated earlier, the quality of the pastry and coffee was top notch. I didn't know this until today; Lavender Coffee is a Denver-roasted coffee company that their coffee is low acid. And they are also equipped with certified mold free certification. Not only that, their approach is wellness-minded. What's not to love a place like Lavender Coffee, right??

This was an excellent score! Bottomless mimosas and brunch without the hassle on a holiday- count me in. Our server was extremely nice, which just added to the great experience. I went for it! I ordered the chicken fried steak skillet. It was outstanding. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and gravied. Our server suggested the hash browns instead of the country potatoes and she was not wrong. Fun fact- Early Bird Eatery does offer bottomless mimosas for $18! Well worth it! I will be back for brunch-that's a given. I also look forward to trying Monk's Indian Grill as well.

Food took about 30 minutes so that's something, you think they are clearly cooking to order. Now if only they could cook you something edible!! The food was disgusting. My Southern Benedict had school-lunch-style "chicken" tenders on it instead of real breast meat. The eggs are not cooked to order, those are very clearly pre-boiled eggs (Pssst, Early Bird, Boiled is NOT the same as Poached!). The biscuits were not biscuits at all, I think it was an English muffin, but either way, it was microwaved to the point it couldn't be picked up, the bread just crumbles around. Couldn't even finish this mess of a meal and had to leave with most of it untouched. My husband's burrito was bad as well. He took maybe 3 bites before we just left. I didn't even want to pay I thought this was such a rip-off. Don't waste your time, eat elsewhere or even just cook at home.

They had the breakfast drink menu out on every table (I guess a breakfast place takes over in the morning). I asked if they had a dinner menu and she walked me over to their bar and asked what I wanted from there. I got served what I wanted. When my sister in law got there and tried to over something, she only saw the breakfast bar menu and tried to order a screwdriver. The waitress said we don't have that. There were beers listed on the bottom, so she asked for a blue moon. The waitress said they only have bud light, so she just skipped all together. Odd experience with that when she had just taken me to their bar.
