Unfriendliest morning crew of any Starbucks I frequent. At least acknowledge the customer.

Very rarely do I ever post reviews for Starbucks. It's almost a given that you're bound to get a cranky barista here and there or the service is so so. But I want to give a huge shout out to Tracy the manager over at this location she exudes positive energy and great customer service!!! I even got a cute little note on my cup from one of the employees which rarely ever happens!!! it's amazing to see a team, so happy and encouraged by one another, and it takes great management to get there!!! Today I gladly say I'm happy I chose Starbucks!!! read more

It's tricky to give a chain coffee shop a five star review, but Starbucks hit the top today! Swung in on a busy Sunday morning and ordered four different coffees and four different sandwiches. They were done with everything in a few minutes, it was all correct, and the speed and efficiency of paying through the app was perfect for us to keep going on the road. My sister and I order from this location every single week. We have been doing so literally for years, as part of our weekends together. Typically this location does well, but this weekend we went inside to sit and talk, and even though there we FOUR employees and no more than a few cars in line (and no one else sitting inside), our oder of one drink each took forever, and when we inquired abut it, the woman just told us that it was sitting on the counter on the other side. She did not apologize. She did not show us where the drinks were. (They were on a different side from where they usually give them out.) It was the rudest thing I have ever dealt with at Starbucks. This happened after I left them a tip for the order, too. When we got up to leave, all four employees were standing around, and none of them thanked us for coming in or said anything to us. We will happily take our business elsewhere, and we will see these people looking for a job soon, I am sure. Ugh. It is disappointing to see this after this location used to have good service. read more

I tried to work from here today and Oh. My. God. The baristas are LOUD AS FCK. One of them has the most obnoxious laugh I have ever heard and he knew he was being loud and proudly said, "I don't care if it's rude. I don't give a f*ck!" ...ok then! I understand this is a coffee place, lots of people talking, possibly babies running around enjoying themselves, etc and it's never bothered me before in any coffee shop. But the guy especially was so rude. I can hear him laughing at people's drive-through orders, "Really, half-and-half, do you need it?" (WOW) And he was so loud, I finally put earphones on and put on the bumpest music I could find and still I could hear, "HEHEHEHE sh*t!! HEHEHEHEHE!!" I can honestly say I've never understood the term, "I can't even" until now. Because these baristas, this place... I can't even. I don't see myself ever coming back here. The guy especially ruined Jay-Z for me because one hour later his laugh still haunts me when I hear these songs. Good GOD. *Yes, yes, coffee is fine. This is my favorite starbucks. I drive past it every day on my way to work. And my favorite part is that its a drive thru!! I usually stop around 6:15am and the girls and guys who work there are always so happy and friendly. Plus they have never made my drink wrong and it always tastes the same, which I am a fan of. There is another starbucks a block from my house...but I like this one way better. And best part of all they have this tasty little breakfast wrap type thing Portobello Mushroom Piadini and you have to try it. read more

This is a convenient location in the mornings but it's more of a drive through McStarbucks than one you would go and hang out in. This morning there was a staff of 3 and they barely kept up with the drive up customers. I had only been through the drive through of this Starbucks one other time, before I had to spend the day in here work on a project. Of course I ordered coffee - more than once. The staff was not the friendliest, and the music was super loud. Like SO loud that I couldn't concentrate. I ended up being there during the turnover in staff and the swing shift staff was even more unfriendly than the morning staff was. I pay $5 for a 5pump WC breve latte and leave a tip. You don't even have a crazy line and I get jipped an entire inch of coffee. Your barista is aggressive with the sweetener pump by not allowing the pump head to completely retract. As a fellow barista; every time I visit here, you mess up my coffee. You don't fool me and your half assed whip cream cover up. I have to add a packet of sugar to make up for the sweetener you jip me on that I pay for. Would I order 5 pumps of the flavor I like if I wanted to add sugar? Get into the habit of stirring the flavors in the espresso so at least when you add the milk the sweetener doesn't sit at the bottom. A bunch of Amateurs. Put your flyest barista on the drinks; people who like they're jobs do better. Complacency effects everyone; the people you work along side with, the customers, and they're willingness to return. One of the redeeming qualities of a Starbucks is the consistency: cleanliness, friendliness, and drinks better be close from location to location. In fact the only reason $4 coffee has become an acceptable standard is the consistency and anticipated experience. Today I went to the restroom to wash my hands prior to ordering and there were towels and various small pieces of paper on the floor. The wash basin looked like it needed a good cleaning too. Not a great first impression. I've been to this location several times in the past and have noted the bathroom (when I have stopped in there) has never looked like someone just cleaned it. I waited behind one person while the barista took their order. She seemed to have some troubles loading a gift card; not sure of the exact problem but we both waited over a minute for them to order a black coffee. I ordered mine and it came out as expected. Nothing rude from the barista, just not the level of friendliness you see at other locations. I've seen others note on the noise level of the employees and I have experienced that as well in the past. Sometimes to the point you want to stand up and scream. Today that was not the case so I'm not using the employee noise level as a part of my grading. I appreciate the free wi-fi. But every coffee shop provides that. The coffee and coffee drinks are solid, but nothing that blows your mind. They play smooth jazz, so does almost every coffee shop from Seattle to Miami, New York to Los Angeles. The only thing I've come to expect from Starbucks is a consistently clean, friendly, decent drink in a place I can relax. This particular location doesn't seem to measure up to other locations. I do hope they step it up a little. This location is most convenient for me. But next time I'll probably try a nearby local place and see if they will be my new coffee shop. read more

Drive thru that provides beverages is wonderful, the only thing that would make it better is if they served shots with my coffee. Now that would be a happy day. I found the drive thru to be quick, the barista was friendly and even asked how our day was (don't ask), and the iced teas we ordered were very good even though I think the tea needed to be steeped longer. I'm always on a search for a drive thru Starbucks to save me when I'm having one of those days and I'm happy I've found another drive thru to add to my growing list. read more

Usually I'll go to the one a block away as I prefer the staff and the way they prepare the beverages. However when I need a drive-thru, this is my go-to location. However the drive-thru here is confusing and awkward. They have a small sign telling you to enter it through Lincoln, but it's easy to miss. I did the first couple of times, and entered through the alley beforehand. It was when I cut someone off and they made a remark that I found out. I bought them their coffee, but that's another story. Additionally, the drinks here aren't consistent. Usually I get black coffee so it's not an issue. However, I've had watery Frappucinos and overly sweet Vanilla lattes. And then sometimes, like today, they get it right. So yeah, not my favorite S*bux location. But definitely the most convenient at 6am! read more

My drink was fine (iced coffee...hard to mess up, unless you're Einstein Bagels at DIA), and the server nice enough, but a number of little things just kept adding up. First, the person serving me was polite, but rubbed his nose a number of times without washing them before handing me my drink. Second, the down-time chatter of the staff was more suitable for in-the-back versus out on the floor. And lastly, the parking lot of this place is rather hard to navigate because they shoehorned it in between an alley, adjacent lot, and the road. Unless you're one of the many 'Bucks-a-holics out there, I'd probably check out a local cafe nearby first. read more

Between all the Starbucks and the medical marijuana joints on Broadway, sometimes all of the green confuses me. However, I was still able to differentiate this Starbucks from the croud for a late evening Chai Tea. The girls working inside were very friendly and the Chai was tasty. But, you really can't mess a Chai up. However, this is one of my favorite Starbucks locations because it's convienent and I can actually safely get back onto Broadway without risking my life. So, enjoy a nice drink from a drive through Starbucks every once in a while. I won't tell anybody. read more

Can't believe it's taken me this long to leave these folks a review. I work on zuni and dartmouth, so I not not only use the drivethru, I have meetings here, stop by after work, et c., and I've never, not ever, had an attitudinal, rushed, or slow experience. They are *always,* without fail, goodnatured, on the ball, and concerned about their customers - hey, the last time i waited in line at the drivethru they tried to *give me* coffee because the line, and hence the wait, were longer than usual. So, this is the closest Starbucks to my house, and it has been-not once-but three times now that I have ordered a latte and it comes back with at least two inches missing from the top... Kudos to staff and management for how they've handled the transition to drive through only. They have kept the option for ordering ahead and have proved (on most occasions) to cut through the line quickly and efficiently. I went to get my first Salted caramel frap of the season here. The service was lousy. The cashier barely looked at me, when I asked what was taking so long another woman snapped at me that they had to remake. They could have told me that if they weren't so busy talking to each other! I'm a sucker for a Starbucks with a drive through. I don't even use them very often, but it's nice to know they are there when yo have a three year old and a sick dog with you on a 100 degree day. This location had chill music (reggae), friendly employees, outdoor seating, parking, and a drive through. Not much more a girl can ask for with her protein box and latte. read more

This is the Englewood drive thru version of Starbucks on South Broadway. It's in a newer building with a nice interior and exterior. Nice enough staff, prompt service. Consistent with the brand and menu at other locations, so I know what to expect and at what prices. read more

Food and coffee are fine but year after year they cant seem to come up with enough money to shovel their sidewalks after a snow.

This is the best Starbucks that I have been to. It is 2 minutes from my office and conveniently on my way there. I always park and go in because it is faster than waiting in the drive-thru at 7:45am when I am there. Whenever I go in the people there are so friendly and they know who I am, so it is nice to have the familiarity everyday. I highly recommend checking this Starbucks out. read more
