This is one of two Starbucks I frequent when visiting STL and it's generally a good experience, in terms of service and speed. I noticed today that the Starbucks app was listing about half the menu as out of stock, including every type of fresh brewed coffee. They actually had it available though, so you can't trust the app at this location. I've only gone thru the drive thru in recent visits but have worked inside in the past and it was a good experience. read more

Don't recommend this location. I only stopped because I saw no line. The drive thru is closed and they cannot open the window apparently. While I don't mind going inside, it's still a bummer not to have that option. However, the pineapple passionfruit lemonade was wonderful! Yes, they were fresh out of Cold Brew at 1:29pm on a Tuesday. I went slightly postal in the drive thru (in a nicesty sort of way). I mean there's really no valid reason why a coffee establishment should run out of coffee EVER. It's non perishable for goodness sake. 4/5 stars anyway simply because Caesar was an amazing sport about it; maintained a very patient, pleasant attitude. He made recommendations to satisfy my craving and greeted me with a big smile as I pulled around to the window. Moral of this review: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE makes me weak. This place at 7pm TWO HOURS before closing time seems to be more in "let's get out of here on time" rather than "let's take care of customers "....limited availability on bakery items.....TWO HOURS before close...bakery display already dismantled......TWO HOURS before close....10 min wait for my coffee...because they had to brew more...manager says "we've been busy ".....Monday night....early January....no one else inside except me....two cars in drive thru....you haven't been "busy" in my opinion....how about brewing more coffee when you're LOW?? I enjoy this Starbucks as I have yet to go to a really bad one. I say the building is nice and clean, the customer service is pretty good. The smell of the coffee in the air is always a good fragrance to me. The dining area is clean and free Wi-Fi. My coffee drink or espresso has always tasted so good. The sandwiches and pastries are great to and very healthy and delicious. I can find no fault in this Starbucks as it lives up to the reputation as a great coffee house in my opinion! read more

Slowest service I have ever seen - 15-20 minutes to get a simple cup of coffee. Other Starbuck stores are not like this.

They're usually a good Starbucks to --drinks have always been good in the past. Today I went an ordered the new brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso and they forgot the freaking oatmilk! A few years back I used to live in Florissant and the only Starbucks was the one off McDonnell Blvd in Hazelwood. That Starbucks fits in the grab your coffee and get the heck out category. At the time I couldn't complain (beggars can't be choosers right?) Man oh Man this one off Hanley is nice! Clean, friendly, convenient. All coffees I bought were spot on and made fast enough. I was looking for a local owned coffee shop in Florissant and realized that they do not exist. The three I was able to find on Google maps had all closed up. But go figure there were two Starbuck's locations within close proximity so I picked one and there I headed. This location was impressive. Not the physical building, but the staff and the people. It felt like a local owned coffee shop. After mentioning that I just moved here from Los Angeles, I was told that my first cup of coffee was on the house! I have a big secret. This is my favorite Starbucks location and I go here 2 to 3 times a week. Okay, that's not a big secret... My secret is that I have been going here for a few years now and frequently of late and I have never been inside. I'm usually in a hurry when I go to this location; I am either headed to work in the morning or getting a quick caffeine jolt in the afternoon or evening and I always use the drive thru. The baristas here are incredibly friendly. Come to think of it, I can't remember a time when I encountered an employee that was rude. We all have bad days and I would totally forgive one or two bad experiences, but I can't think of any. My regular order of a triple venti white mocha (and shhh sometimes 3 petite vanilla bean scones) always comes out quickly and consistently. I guess I need to rethink this Starbucks. I need to remember to think about it not just when I am in a hurry, but also when I am looking for a coffee shop to sit, relax, and read a book. read more

Max, Joe,Sarah, Christine, Michael,Rhonda, Jessica, heather, and a few other names I have forgotten are the nicest people you could meet! Usually I don't post unless the service or food quality is bad however, I believe this deserves a review. I've been to this location two times and this is the second time they have forgotten my order. I waited over 10 minutes while others (6 people) behind me got their orders ahead of mine. I had to go over to the barista and tell them that I hadn't received my order after waiting another 5 minutes. They need to re-think their service order priority. read more

Being a former Starbucks employee, this location has the worst customer service ever. I don't use the drive thru, I mostly walk in and you are never acknowledged by the baristas working. No "Hello" or "I will be right with you". I am not used to a Starbucks with no regard for customers and would have the nerve to have a tip jar out. I live in the neighborhood and prefer to use this location; unfortunately, I constantly run into smart-remarks and flip attitudes from the staff and manager.
