Wow, it's almost rare to see a coffee shop that's open until 11 PM since the pandemic. There was a reason why there were so many people on their laptops here! Aside from the extended hours, we had great service. We had to shop at Home Depot so went in and out a couple times and were greeted each time we walked in the door. Despite the assuming busy drive thru, they made an attempt to help us when we needed help. The restrooms are gender neutral and the shop is cozy but has enough outlets for those looking to set up for longer working sessions. Yes, we can see why it's a crowd favorite location! read more

I am giving this location 3 stars ONLY because it has a few nice friendly and good baristas ie: Elise and Nijo, and a few not so much. The manager that transferred from another location seems nice and professional thus far from observation, hope she looks at reviews and uses them for improvements. I must say that one of the supervisors always has a sarcastic edge in her "Chelsea", it would be great if she didn't approach customers with a rude/boarder line aggressiveness she's always right attitude... seems she always knows when to misbehave when others are not close by! Starbucks training is needed here if you are really looking into a different warm image. Lastly, people go into starbucks primarily to relax, or do a little computer work with a coffee, and geez, sometimes the music and employees are so loud that it creates a very unwelcoming atmosphere ie Chelsea when she calls out orders yells like she's reaching people on the other side of the football field! I've been going to Starbucks for years and it seems that the food and drink qualities have gone down over the years while prices go up. Some drinks are either watery or have too much syrup. The protein latte I had today had too much syrup to where it didn't taste like coffee. At least for this location, there is a work place you can actually relax, study, and work as well as a drive-thru compared to some other locations. I stopped coming here as usual because of that. I used to come to Starbucks and stay for a while, but this is just a grab-and-go atmosphere to me now. Also, the nearest location that I used to go, which is at Fremont Blvd, is permanently closed and now this is the main location I go to now. Today at Starbucks, I witnessed a customer bring in a dog that was clearly not a service animal. The customer's daughter even asked her mother if she was going to leave the dog in the car, to which the mother replied that she brings the dog inside all the time. When I raised the concern with an employee, I was told it was a service dog. However, the dog displayed no identification, markings, or behavior consistent with a trained service animal. I find this troubling, as it undermines both customer comfort and the seriousness of actual service animals. I will not be returning to this store. read more

I haven't been inside the store, so I only use the drive thru. Today was the last straw, I go to this location because is close to work. I had ordered a iced Matcha Latte and it was straight up powder with water, had no syrup and had it lighter green than it usually is. When I tested the drink, it was burning in my throat and the feeling lingered in my throat for over an hour. Mind you I only had three sips, just to check if what I was tasting was right. I'm not one of those people who will write a bad review because the drink didn't turn out how I want. I am writing this because of the staff experience I had tonight. I can in around 10PM on 5/6. Bought a juice bottle. Noticed as I got the code and went towards the bathrooms, the woman and the guy with glasses and clean shaven face said "crazy". I ignored and continued working on my laptop. Then heard the female worker say "nerd", male guy say "nerd", and back and forth in a "nerdy" voice". It's not like they could be talking about some other scenario, the shop is very small and face-to-face. Then it was confirmed when I walked up towards the counter when the guy was, but towards the station with napkins etc. I was on my phone and mentioned that they said I was a nerd. As I was walking up, he then covered his face like a visor. It seemed to possibly be kicked off by the female worker but kept up by the males really aggressively. Sorry, but how socially awkward can you get? Then it appeared they saw my review that I had just written. Then they started talking about it and complaining. The female worker shot me an intense glance at one point. At this point the harassment started escalating. I was sitting in there and the tall guy made a gross "suggestive" noise and started acting out more and more. They made barf noises about me, and the tall guy started "crashing out" of you will, saying disgusting things about women, obviously to harass me. For example, he made degrading graphic descriptions of female body parts, referring to "tacos". I canny even list all the horrible sexist things that were said, it would be too long. It became so bad, that after being there for 20 minutes, I had to remove myself from the verbal harassment and leave the store. The workers completely violated social norms and were talking as if the store was their personal locker room with graphic, misogynistic tirades. I experienced harassment. This is not acceptable and I will be talking to management. The environment felt unsafe and unprofessional for a solo woman. read more

I've been to this location a handful of times. Each time there hace been issues with my order, all be it minor issues. Yesterday's Mango Dragon Fruit Lemonade w/extra dragon fruit was just a lemonade (no dragon fruit at all in the cup). When I brought to the barista's attention, she appeared to be annoyed. She remade the drink & I assure you this is *not.* what it looks like w/*extra* dragon fruit. This is waaay too light. This is how REGULARLY looks in color. Disappointing. (This is my go-to beverage. I get it all the time. I'm super familiar w/it.) The other day I ordered the Summer Berry Lemonade Refresher w/Popping Boba. (Requires a boba straw) Received drink w/a regular cold drink lid & w/o a straw. I asked for a dome lid (in a pinch this is a good alternative if they're out of the specialized lids just for this drink) & a boba straw. Again, barista appeared annoyed. I'm not a regular coffee addict but I do love the smell of a good cup of coffee/espresso especially during fall/winter seasons. I grew up with a mama that had a Vietnamese coffee shop where you can get a good Cà phê sữa đá (Vietnamese/French med-dark roast which is drip filtered through a metal holder above a cup/mug which is then mixed with condense milk and is poured over ice) - they have the hot option too but you would drop the đá at the end which stands for ice! :) Enough of my random history, Back to my Starbucks review: My favorite is that fall PSL - pumpkin spice latte w/an added espresso shot! My winter fav is probably the chestnut praline latte and again with the added espresso shot! My usual go to when a craving kicks in and it's cold out is a simple hazelnut latte with an added shot If the weather is hot out and it's in season, you can now do a pumpkin spiced cold brew! Now if you want that Vietnamese coffee drink I described above - try ordering a 3/2 ratio which comes pretty close to a Vietnamese coffee. Iced triple espresso with 2 pumps of white chocolate in a grande cup of extra ice! If you need an extra kick and don't like the sweetness, drop one pump of white chocolate. If you want a larger serving - you can also do a 4/3 ratio which is an iced quad espresso with 3 pumps of white mocha. Everyone has a different preference but this is my occasional must have during summer months when it's hot out and I just miss my mama. Starbucks had all kinds of eats too! My kids love the grilled cheese warmed twice to get that extra crispy cheese and bread crunch! It's a Sunday treat for them at this location after swimming class. I'm not a regular at this location, but the one time I came here to pick up my mobile order, the barista took care of me right away, and got me my drink! I was in and out so quick (much faster than at In N Out ;) ) I enjoyed my Creme Brulee frappuccino and can't wait to go back! This Starbucks is in a more industrial area, there is limited parking in this strip. This is a big plaza with plenty of parking. Service is eh here and drinks take forever at this location (with mobile order). This location is decent to study at and they have benches here as well, but it is near the door, so there is a constant breeze as people come and go. After having a 2 hour sweat session, I needed to find a Starbucks along my errands path and this one was just the most conveniently located along Automall. The parking lot is very small but I came at around a little after noon on a Friday and I parked right in front. As I knew my order might be a little complicated and I didn't want to freeze while ordering in line, I used the Starbucks app to pre-order my drink. Thanks to Henry, a fellow Yelper friend, I think I found a new favorite drink. It's a dupe for a Vietnamese coffee. I've stopped drinking Vietnamese coffee as my caffeine tolerance has significantly waned and can cause me some insomnia (ugh why am I writing this at 3:30am...probably from a monster milk tea concoction I inhaled a little too late in the afternoon). I was able to customize the drink from an iced espresso menu option and change it to decaf. Verdict? It's pretty darn good. My boyfriend tried it and he's pretty amazed by it. So the drink was well prepared! This location was fairly empty with a few folks sitting around, so if you're looking for a Starbucks to sit in and hang out, this one isn't too shabby. It was pretty clean and you can wander into the REI next door and buy some recreational gear...or at least peruse the inventory. read more

This 5 star review is predominantly for the staff at this Starbucks. For the most part, my orders come out just fine at any Starbucks I visit; it's expected from a national chain. What really stands out at this location is the service. Everyone here is nice and friendly. Certain staff members even know me by name. Every time I have been to this Starbuck's location, the staff has been unhelpful, and even a bit rude. There must be a poor management issue at this location, as the store is often closed. We placed a mobile order the other day, just to get there and find the store was closed, only the drive through was open... of course the line was extra long since everyone had to wait in it. It took use well over a half hour to get drinks we had ordered ahead. When we first went to the door (before realizing the inside was closed) the worker inside pulled a face at my daughter and gestured rather rudely for us to go to the drive through line. It was ridiculous. As this was not our first bad encounter at this location, I can guarantee you, I will not return to this Starbucks. There are plenty of other better, quicker, nicer, well staffed, well managed locations to choose from! read more

I love to hike and I love browsing on plants and home decors and paints and doorknobs and odd ends here and there so I was in heaven here. Decided to walk over to Starbucks which is a good walking distance from both stores. This location is not crowded. Clean store. Scattered well placed tables are cozier than other branches. It's got that homely feeling. The sun shines in that perfect angle if you're sitting by the table near the door. It makes you not wanna leave that location.
